唔知大家有冇睇過或者仲記唔記得我之前嘅一篇貼, 係話我無意中摷到我幼稚園份成績表?? 其實同一個箱入面, 我亦都搵到我高中時嘅部份考卷, 都收藏咗廿年喇(你咪即管去計下我幾多歲囉)!! 我拎住啲考卷一睇, 情不自禁講咗句｢嘩!! 呢啲問題想點先??!!｣, 哈哈!! 我嘗試回答, 始終都係一頭霧水...

i wonder if you have read or still remember the post about having found my kindergarten report card?? in that same box, i have also found some of my high school exam papers, which i have kept for almost 20 years (okay, go ahead and calculate my age)!! i held them in my hand, took a look and can't help myself from saying "what the f**k are these questions all about??!!", hahahaha!! i tried to solve the questions, but i just could't...

...但係廿年前嘅我, 竟然可以回答如流!! 感覺有點不可思議, 我完全唔知自己當時做緊乜!! 我諗人人所講嘅「俾返晒老師」呢句話, 套在我身上確係貼切不過.. 睇下我嘅得分, 當然係揀咗最好嗰幾份紙啦, 肥佬嘅就無謂獻醜啦, 呵呵!! 不過只有測驗作答俾大家睇, 只因為了避免學生作弊, 大考作答係唔俾返學生㗎.. 我話呢, 如果要我依家去考試, 實係肥佬兼捧蛋似喇, 哇哈哈哈!! :D

...and yet 20 years ago, i was able to do that!! how amazing, i don't know what i was doing!! i guess the saying "given all back to the teachers" is so true on me.. look at my score back then, of couse i have chosen the best ones, failed ones cannot be shown here mah, hehe!! but i can only show you the test sheets since exam sheets were not given back to students to prevent fraud.. i guess i will definitely fail with "an egg" if i am to sit for these papers now, muahahahaha!! :D

月頭嘅時候, 我寫過小學時期成績, 就有讀者挑戰我俾中學成績佢睇.. 換著以前, 成績冊係私隱, 當然唔可以俾任何人睇啦.. 不過都畢咗業N年啦, 與大家分享下又何妨?? 就當係「兒時記趣」, 俾大家睇下咩叫做小時了了, 大未必佳啦, 哈哈!! 中學成績冊係回憶一部份, 我都仲收得好好㗎.. 雖然成績冇小學時期咁標青, 而且仲每況愈下, 不過都叫做從來未肥老過(合格分數為60).. 最差都係音樂科嘅63分, 我記得好似係考唱歌, 呵呵!! 喺一個高學業水平嘅學校, 算係難能可貴呀.. 當年嘅分數, 除咗考試, 平時嘅功課同測驗都佔若干百分比㗎, 所以無時無刻都要保持努力!! 中學時期嘅總分數有一套好繁複嘅計算方法, 而且遲到/病假/事假都會由呢個總分數按節數直接扣分, 總分不達60就要留級一年㗎喇!! 幸好我每年都高調過關, 如果唔係就肯定係校內老學生啦~~ 其實大專同大學成績我都仲有, 邊個想睇?? 哈哈 :D

early this month i blogged about my primary school results and a blogger challenged me to show my high school results.. given back then, results were treated with strict confidence and no one could ever see each other's results if not given the permission.. well, it's a gazillion years since i graduated from high school, no harm to share my results now really, it's indeed just sharing some good childhood memories i'll rather say, that is why i still keep the record book perfectly.. though not as outstanding as my primary school results and yet showing signs of getting worse, at least i did not fail any subject (passing mark was 60).. the worst i realized was 63 for music, i remember it was rated on singing skills, hehe!! in such a school with high academic standards, i would say that was rather good!! the marks besides the exams, took accounts of homework and tests as well, hence we really had to work hard all the time back then.. calculation of the final score was also based on a complex method, also any late to school or leave would caused marks deducted directly from the final score based on the number of periods, failing to achieve 60 and students were detained to repeat the same year again!! lucky was that i completed each year successfully and promoted to the next, else i would have been one of the old students in school~~ BTW, i still keep my college and university results, anyone interested?? haha :D

學校假期前, 見到頗多博客父母都提及佢哋子喺學校嘅成績, 咁啱昨晚喺個櫃度摷返啲舊文件嘅時候, 俾我無意中搵到呢一份小學成績表!! 嘩, 果真係古董呀, 由1984年一年班用到1989年六年班, 我都唔識得計佢有幾多年歷史喇, 哈哈!! 就咁睇, 其實我小學成績都算係標青喎, 喺班上慣性排喺前七名之內, 各科目平均分數都有90分以上, 不過音樂科拎咗好多個C就好似差啲(查看科目代號), 呵呵.. 點都好啦, 正如我經常話齋, 小時了了呀, 細個嘅時候叻又如何?? 並不代表長大之後都仍然係優秀吖嘛.. 所以呢份成績表對我嚟講, 係一個很好的回憶, 之唔係點解我到依家都仍然將佢保存得咁好喇~~ :)

just before the school holidays, i saw some blogger parents wrote about their kids' results at school, coincidentally when i was looking for some old documents in my cabinet last night, i accidentally found this - my primary school academic results card!! wow, this is really an antique, started using this since 1984 when i was in year one till 1989 in year six, i've lost count how many years in history it is now, haha!! and i shall say my results were quite good, consistently within top 7 in the class and average marks for the subjects were well over 90%, but i think i've scored lots of C for music (see subject codes) huh?? hehe.. anyway, like i always say, being excellent as a kid may not mean i am good when as i grew up.. this results card just means good memory to me, that is why i still have it so well kept~~ :D

卒之.. 歷經四個半月, 上個星期五終於submit咗呢「兩硬一軟」, 終於都完成咗我呢個dissertation喇.. 好多日坐定定電腦前郁都唔郁, 好多個夜晚夜有所夢嘅日子終於過去喇!! 三個月之後先有暫時成績, 再等多三個月先知道最終成績.. 都算了咗件事, 不過尚未有嗰種松一口氣嘅感覺, 完成呢個dissertation就表示讀完呢個MBA喇, 下一步係咩呢?? 享受生活?? 傻啦, 要正式搵份差事喇, 唔駛做咩?? :D

finally.. after four and a half months, i submitted these "2 hard 1 soft" copies last friday, finally i have completed my dissertation.. the many days of sitting as a stone in front of the PC, the many nights of thesis chasing after me in the dreams, are all finally over now!! need to wait for another three months for the provisional results and three more months for the final results.. anyway at least this is done, i have yet to feel the relief, completed the dissertation also means i am done with this MBA, what's next?? enjoy life?? of course not, it's time to get a job, you think i can grow money?? :D

最近忙於我篇研究論文中, 發覺其實寫學術性論文對我(呢個IT背景嘅人)嚟講, 確實係件難事.. 之前喺職場, 邊有呢啲長篇大論嘅文章?? 全部都係簡短精杆㗎啦, 係唔係?? 而且每次寫嘅報告, 都係比較技術性質㗎嘛.. 以前三兩日可以完成一份報告, 依家一日最盡都係寫兩頁咋陰功!! 點解?? 因為每寫一個句子, 就要去搵好多參考支持自己個point, 又或者去搵好多參考反駁其他人嘅point.. 而且仲要寫到有連貫性, 前呼後應兼一氣呵成, 真係挑戰我囉.. 希望可以快快寫好呢一篇最後一擊啦, 阿彌陀佛~~ 講開又講, 我呢份論文需要搵好多喺吧生谷工作嘅IT人透過電郵幫我做調查問卷, 大家如果有朋友可以幫手, 麻煩通知我吖~~ 感激不盡!! :)

am occupied with my research dissertation recently, and i realized writing academic dissertation is really something tough for (someone with an IT background like) me.. previously in my jobs, there is nothing that i need to write in such a long magnitude because all reports are required to be concise and precise, right?? furthermore, contents in those reports are mostly technical.. i can get one report done in two to three days last time, but now i can at most write two pages of text, that's pathetic!! why then?? because for every sentence i write, i need to search for references to support my point, or maybe search for references to oppose views from others.. also the need to have continuity between sentences, well structured to have a smooth flow of ideas.. that really challenges me and how i hope i can get this final one done quickly, amitabha~~ BTW for this dissertation, i need to find quite a number of IT people within Klang Valley to help me with a questionnaire, if you or your friends can help, hope you'll contact me, my heartiest gratitude!! :)

剛剛遞交咗再兩份嘅assignments, 意思即係話已經完成全部八份喇!! 四個學期讀晒, 淨低最後一份重量級嘅畢業論文要做.. 尚未有頭緒要做邊一方面嘅題材, 呢幾日趕到無日無夜, 好攰呀!! 唔想諗咁多住, 或者大家有咩提議咁呢?? 我習慣將做好嘅assignment放入自己部電話, 紀念自己所付出過嘅血汗..

just submitted yet another two assignments, meaning i've finally completed all 8 assignments!! done with four semester already and now left with the heavy-duty final dissertation.. still have no idea what topic to pursue, but after these few days of rushing, i am very exhausted!! don't want to think about it first, or maybe you have something constructive to suggest?? i like to load all assignments i've completed into my phone to appreciate all my sweat and blood..

噚日去領頭兩個學期嘅成績, 四科有齊晒ABCD全部等級.. 個range好大囉, 我完全冇因為有個A而開心, 但係就因為有個D而閉翳而耿耿於懷, 唉~~ 不過好方面諗, 至少呢四科全部合格囉.. 我呢個MBA冇考試, 每科食飯定食粥就靠一份assignment, 所以靈靈性性, 跟住落嚟嘅全部靚靚仔仔呀!!

collected the results for my first two semesters yesterday and i get all ABCD grades for all four subjects.. that's a big range i don't get any happy with the A but definitely a little down with the D, haiz~~ anyway think from the brighter side, at least i pass all those subjects.. there's no exam for my MBA but each subject depends solely on one assignment, so by hook or by crook, the remaining ones must get handsome results!!
