Do You Enjoy Shower??

曾聽聞法國人不喜歡沖涼或洗澡, 所以佢哋對香水特別有研究.. 咁閣下又幾耐沖一次涼咁呢?? 每日一次, 每日兩次, 又或者每兩日一次?? 哈哈.. 其實我要承認, 以前喺外國讀緊書嘅時候, 都曾經多次唔沖涼㗎, 尤其係冬天, 因為凍吖嘛又覺得自己冇流汗, 所以由佢啦(皆因自己死懶啫!!).. 不過事實上, 我哋大家每日都必定會流汗, 甚至瞓緊覺都會, 只係我哋唔覺啫.. anyway, 我每次偷懶唔沖涼都係一日啫, 絕不會連續幾日啦.. 之不過喺呢度, 就肯定要日日沖涼啦, 一日唔沖都會覺得一身油油黐立立咁, 好唔舒服囉.. 就算我喺gym沖完涼直接歸家, 返到屋企我都係要同樣再沖多次涼.. 我絕對唔係有潔癖, 而係習慣咗.. 有啲人話求其淋兩下就算係沖咗個涼, 不過我唔得囉, 反正濕咗個身, 都至少用番梘冼下個身啦下化?? 我呢就唔會喺間浴室內姿整嘅, 一個十分鐘俾我由頭洗到腳趾尾, 沖完覺得自己乾乾淨淨香噴噴, 就係如此喇.. :)

i heard that the French do not quite like to take shower or bath, and thus they are very good in perfume.. how often do you take a shower or bath?? once a day, twice a day, or maybe once every two days?? haha.. okay i confess, when i was studying overseas, there were many times that i skipped taking shower, especially during winter, because it felt cold and i thought i did not sweat, so let it be (because i was lazy!!).. but the fact is, we all actually sweat everyday even during sleep, we just do not realise that.. anyway, i only skipped one day each time but never more that.. of course back in here, it has to be shower everyday, i feel so uncomfortable with the greasiness and stickiness.. even if i just took a shower in the gym and headed home right away, i still will take a shower when i get home, hahaha.. i'm certainly not a clean freak, but i'm just use to it.. some may do a quick one by just rinsing with water and that's a shower.. but to me, since already wet, why not at least clean the body with soap also?? i don't take my own sweet time in the bathroom, a mere 10 minutes to get my hair shampooed, my body and face cleaned, i feel refreshed, smell good and that's it.. :)

In The Kopitiam

我覺得我哋大部份馬來西亞人, 要搵嘢食時, 都相當之依賴茶餐室.. 要搵啲地道嘢解決兩餐, 幾時會唔第一時間諗到附近間茶餐室得㗎?? 更有可能係, 對某些人嚟講, 每朝返工前都例牌去返同一個地方食早餐添.. 當然, 你知我唔會喺度談論食物啦, 我哋嚟講啲其他嘢.. 當間茶餐室逼爆人嘅時候, 我同人搭檯唔係一個問題, 不過我就唔係幾好同搭檯嘅陌生人傾偈囉.. 簡短嘅幾句客氣說話都尚好嘅, 不過要我好似平時見嘅長舌師奶咁, 就冇乜可能.. 唔係我唔友善, 我只不過係覺得有啲怪啫.. 我喜歡同啲老闆熟落㗎, 因為當你唔需要正式落單嗌嘢, 簡單一句如「照舊」或打個手勢, 老闆就已經知道你要乜, 甚至會記得你極細微嘅要求, 例如我要求啲嘢食唔放生䓤咁.. 呢種感覺係非常之貼心囉.. 有人行埋嚟賣嘢嘅時候, 賣乜都好啦, 我都會禮貌拒絕.. 而當有人行埋嚟討錢時, 我都會一概不理.. 因為我真係唔鍾意食緊嘢嘅時候有人打撓.. 而其中最乞我憎嘅, 係行埋嚟叫我捐錢而又鬼咁咄咄逼人嗰啲, 我十分唔喜歡且一定唔會就範, 況且今時今日好多都唔知係真籌款定假籌款..

i guess most of us Malaysians greatly rely on kopitiam when it comes to finding food.. think of our local delicacies and comfort food for a quick fix, where else would you consider other than that kopitiam nearby?? and probably to some people, it will be the same old de facto place every morning for breakfast before work.. of course, you know i am not going to talk about food here, let's talk about something else.. i am fine sharing table with other patrons in a very packed kopitiam, but i do not actually fancy chit-chatting with strangers sitting on the same table.. i can have a brief conversation but never a long one like chatterbox uncles we often can see.. not that i am unfriendly, but i just feel kind of weird.. i like getting close to the owners, i feel very warm when without the need to place a former order but rather something like "boss, biasa!!" or maybe just giving a sign, they would already know what i want, even down to the very details like remembering i do not want any spring onions for my noodles, haha.. i will politely reject anyone who come in peddling stuffs to me, ignore all who come by begging for money.. i just do not like to be disturbed when i am eating.. one kind that i hate most are those asking for donations who tout aggressively, i do not like that and won't give in at all, furthermore many may not be genuine nowadays..

Myopia, Hypermetropia & Presbyopia (2 of 2)

今日呢篇貼係個兩集系列嘅下半集, 如果閣下尚未睇過上半集, 本人建議你繼續之前, 點擊此處先睇埋日前嗰集.. :) ...知道咗近視及遠視可以同時間發生之後, 話說某日我將某器材放在大脾上面, 下巴之下及靠在胸口上,而雙手伸直放在電腦鍵盤上.. 為咗方便自己(其實係懶得郁動), 我就直接由呢個姿勢低頭望落個器材, 想話讀出佢個篇號.. 誰不知愕然衝擊, 我竟然睇唔清楚個篇號!! 係要提高頭, 拉低個器材, 有個遠啲嘅距離後, 我先睇得清楚個篇號!! 我當下一驚, 心想「老花眼唔係咁早要嚟吓化??」*流汗藍臉*!! 冷靜落嚟之後, 我上網goo下老花眼*電燈泡*.. 令人放下心頭大石的是, 綜合幾個網站資料所得, 人類正常視覺係可以清楚看見25cm遠至無限遠距離嘅嘢.. 即係話我咁近距離(約15cm)睇唔清楚器材嘅篇號係實屬正常啦, 呵呵!! 嚇得我吖.. 喺度同大家分享呢個小小知識, 同埋事情未經證實前就唔好自己嚇自己喇.. :D

this post today is the second part of a two-parts series, if you have not read the first part, i would recommend that you read it here before you continue with this.. :) ...after being "enlightened" that both myopia and hypermetropia could happen at the same time, there was this day when i was placing a device on my lap below my chin and resting on my chest, while my hands stretched beyond and placed on the keyboard.. for convenience (actually lazy to move), i was trying to read the serial number of that device by looking down right from that position.. to my utter horror, i could not see the serial number!! i have to move my head up and lower the device a little for a bigger distance before i could read it clearly.. i immediately got alarmed, "oh my, is this long-sightedness coming too early??" *blue face and sweat*!! i calmed down and quickly googled hypermetropia *light bulb*.. relieved was what i read from a few websites that, a normal human vision allows one to see things 25cm away up to an infinite distance.. meaning it's absolutely fine that i could not read the serial number from such a close distance (about 15cm), hehe!! terkejut badak i.. a little knowledge sharing here, and remember never get paranoid before you confirmed thing is happening.. :D

繼「唔記得自己幾歲」事件後, 我由同一位朋友口中得知佢多年前做過雷射視覺矯正手術, 不過近視又再返嚟(當然冇以前咁深), 而且同時間, 上天仲俾埋遠視(俗稱老花)佢.. 唉, 人老咗問題就自然多!! 我自己係個大近視(左眼650, 右眼700), 一直以為呢兩樣嘢係唔會同時發生.. 如果大家仲記得以前返學時嘅生物科, 我成日諗, 一個影像點會同時間聚交於視網膜前後兩邊呢?? 好明顯, 我唔單止視覺上有近視, 視覺知識上都係有近視, 哈哈!! 嗰啲戴雙鏡眼鏡嘅朋友, 及睇遠近時需要除低或戴上眼鏡嘅朋友, 就係最有力嘅證明.. 待續... 今日呢個話題有啲長篇, 所以我將分兩個貼嚟寫(方便讀者之時, 我又可以呃多一個貼).. 今日第一貼就不設留言喇, 大家睇埋明天出街嘅第二貼, 先一次過強勢留言啦.. 或者你都可以打定啲留言, 到時直接copy and paste嘅, 呵呵!! 聽日見.. :)

following the "i can't remember my age" thingy, i heard the same friend who did LASIK many years ago to correct her short-sightedness, has it back again (of course much lower power), and on top of that she's now "gifted" with long-sightedness at the same time.. ah, talk about aging!! me being a heavy short-sighted (left 650, right 700) always thought these two things will not happen together.. if you could still remember a little biology we learned in school, i always thought how could an image focuses both in front and behind our retina?? obviously i have a myopia not only in vision but also in my knowledge, haha!! those wearing multi-focal glasses, or those who need to put on and take off their glasses alternately while seeing near and far, prove me wrong.. To be continued... due to the long story of this topic, i am splitting it into two posts for easier reading (and to tipu for one more post).. this is the first post where commenting is disabled, save your thoughts and only spam one-shot in the second post that will be published tomorrow.. or you may want to type your comments first then straight away copy and paste then, hehe!! see ya again tomorrow.. :)

好記得有一次我嘲笑一位連自己幾多歲都唔記得嘅朋友, 我覺得自己依家面對住同一個困境(現眼報!!).. 我知各位尚後生, 所以一定會覺得呢件事好搞笑, 不過我可以話你知, 係真係會發生㗎!! 可能個數目太大唔易記, 又或者人老咗記性差啦.. 好多時候, 我要講出或記得自己幾歲之前, 都要停兩秒, 用心算將今年年份減去自己嘅出生年份.. 幸好, 都仲記得自己邊一年出世同今年係乜年, 哈哈!!! 係啦, 我實知你想八下我今年幾歲啦.. *兩秒鐘之後* 好嘅, 本人即將於今年6月17日(暗示!!), 慶祝我19歲生日呀!! 當然, 係人生中第二次19歲啦!! xD

i still remember there was once i laughed at a friend who cannot remember immediately how old she was, and now i think i am going through the same thing too (padan muka!!).. for the young people out there, you may find this rather nonsense but I guess it does happen!! maybe it's too large a number to remember, or our brain doesn't function as well as we age.. many times before i can tell or remember my age, I would need to hesitate for a couple of seconds, do the maths by subtracting my year of birth from the current year.. well, at least I still remember my year of birth and what year it is today, lucky huh?? muahahaha!!! okay, i just know you sure wanna gossip how old i am.. *paused for two seconds*, okay, i will be celebrating my 19th birthday on 17th June (hint!! hint!!) this year.. duh, 19 for the "second" time of my life, of course!! xD

首先, 請充許我基於上面張有啲核突兼｢在美食博客標準下可得零分｣嘅相說聲抱歉.. 我其實坐係電腦前食緊呢個餐蛋漢堡包嘅, 咁啱又唔知今日要寫啲乜, 咁啱又食緊個包, 咁啱手上又拎住部電話, 我咪順便影咗呢張｢一pat嘢｣相囉.. 於是將計就計, 即興啲, 今日嚟個快餐店漢堡包大戰街邊小攤漢堡包啦!! 其實大家可以跳過上面一段, 下一句開始讀起, 哇哈哈哈!! 好喇, 話我知, 如果你係個有食快餐甚至唔嫌棄街邊嘢嘅人, 你會選擇邊一種漢堡包?? 由受過專業特訓, 如機械人般工作嘅廚房員工所整, 依據公司設下嘅工作流程標準, 有指定(可數性)材料, 有規定份量(但不超過兩種)醬汁, 於大量生產環境之下, 另外計埋冷氣同連鎖版權費(及極難上到網嘅免費無線網絡)於價錢內, 越來越變得明顯細個嘅快餐店漢堡包.. 由街邊某某甲乙丙, 夢想成為一代米芝連星級大廚所整, 隨心所欲, 有隨意數量(不可數性)材料, 有隨性份量(往往超過三種而且一定係喞晒出嚟嘅)醬汁, 於即叫即做環境之下, 按照個別柯打收費(而且全包個人特別要求), 越來越變得有啲細個嘅街邊小攤漢堡包..

first of all, let me apologize for this somehow unsighty and surely-failed-under-the-foodie-blogger-standard photo above.. i was actually sitting in front of my laptop gulping this luncheon meat with egg burger, and since i do not have anything in mind to blog for today, and since this burger comes in handy, and since i was holding my phone, i snapped a photo of this "messy" burger.. be instant and be impromptu, we have today roadside burgers versus fast food burgers!! okay you can actually skip the previous paragraph and start reading from the next sentence, muahahaha!! so, tell me.. if you are one who actually eat fast food or even down-to-earth roadside food, which one do you actually prefer?? fast food chain burgers prepared by "trained" kitchen crew who work like robots, packed with corporate standard numbers of (and countable) toppings, fixed amount of dressing (but not more than two types), in a mass production environment, charged additionally for air-cond and franchise royalty (and not-working-free-wifi) and size getting significantly smaller.. roadside stall burgers prepared by an anonymous who works like a michelin-star-chef-wannabe, stacked with random numbers of (and uncountable) toppings, arbitrary amount of dressing (always more than three and all the time oozing out), in a made-to-order environment, charged accordingly by your order (but not on additional requests) and size getting fairly smaller..

剛學識咗幾個(對我而言)強勁嘅英文單字, 所以與其為咗要寫一篇貼文而變得circumlocutory, 今日呢篇貼文就俾佢succinct啲啦.. 正如今日個標題一樣: 點解男廁可以容許女性清潔, 但係女廁就一定容不得男性清潔?? 點解只有女性專用火車車廂, 而女性乘客又可以自由出入任何車廂?? 點解冇男性專用, 謝絕所有女性乘客嘅車廂呢??

i just learned a few bombastic (to me) words a while ago, and i thought instead of being circumlocutory for the sake of having a post, i will have this post today succinct.. as per the title of today's post: why are female cleaners allowed in a gents toilet but not a male cleaner in a ladies toilet?? why are there only ladies-only train coaches yet ladies can get into any coach freely?? why aren't there gentlemen-only train coaches where ladies are prohibited to enter??

我知身邊有人非常之害怕自己一個人, 做乜嘢都一定要同其他人一齊.. 亦都有人反而選擇自己一個人, 甚至好享受獨自一人嘅空間同自由.. 有人會認為自己一個人就等於係孤獨寂寞, 覺得一個人做咩都係好可憐, 點解冇人陪嘅?? 對我嚟講, 我唔會將自己一個人同孤獨寂寞劃上等號啦, 我重來歡迎有人陪, 同時都會歡迎自己獨處嘅機會, 當然要視情況或活動而言啦.. 一個人食飯我冇問題(雖然一個人嘅時候, 我唔會選擇去fancy嘅食肆, 為填飽個肚啫, 求其一餐得啦), 一個人睇戲我冇問題(雖然有人陪會更加理想, 尤其係睇喜劇), 一個人行街買嘢我冇問題(因為如果同朋友一齊血拼, 我會慫恿朋友買多啲, 自己通常空手而歸).. 不過有一件事我係唔會一個人做嘅, 就係去旅行.. 我覺得既然去到一個陌生嘅地方, 我希望有自己熟悉嘅人喺身邊, 可以一齊分享美好時光(同埋有人幫我揸機影相, 哈哈!!).. 你又如何呢?? 你有幾多機會或時間係自己獨自一人, 又會有幾能夠應對得到呢??

i know people around who are so uneasy of being alone and everything must be done in a company, while some prefer doing things alone and enjoy the freedom.. some would perceive that alone means lonely, and find it so miserable to do things alone, you have no one to keep you company?? well, as for me, i surely do not think alone equates to lonely, i enjoy both the company of others as well as being alone but it would depend on the activity or situation.. i have no problem eating alone (though when i'm alone i don't go to fancy restaurants but just fast-food or something quickie as i just need to feed myself), i have no problem watching movie alone (though would be nicer to have company especially watching a comedy), i have no problem shopping alone (because i usually end up buying nothing if i shop with friends).. but one thing i surely would not do alone is to travel for leisure, i mean i'm heading to a place i am not familiar with, i hope to have people i am close with to share the moments together (and also people to take photos of me, haha!!).. how about you?? how often are you doing things alone, and how well can you cope with being alone?? :)

當你在超市買嘢或在餐廳食嘢嘅時候, 你會唔會習慣約莫計下一陣應該俾幾多錢先呢?? 係靜雞雞喺度心算, 定係拎部手機出嚟(用內設嘅計數機功能)精準計下條數?? 我通常都會心算, 有個心理準備到時先唔會嚇親, 至少當價錢有差異(尤其係系統冇更新打折貨品嘅價錢), 我唔會仲係懵醒醒吖嘛.. 亦有時候當我正在格緊價, 我會拎部手機出嚟計下單位價, 雖然價錢係貴啲, 不過如果單位價係比較低, 就比較值得買喇(譬如話RM2.00一樽250毫升果汁同RM2.50一樽325毫升果汁).. 家下大家都見識到我對數目嘅敏感度啦?? 哈哈, 與其話我好似師奶仔咁過份緊張嗰一角幾毫, 倒不如話我係有啲啲咁小心錢財?? 老實講, 我辛苦賺返嚟嘅錢確實得來不易呀, 所以難怪我係如此愛惜金錢喎~~ :p [後註] 逢星期五我都會循例整啲互動元素喺個post內嘅, 所以上面個簡單計算機其實係堅嘢嚟㗎!! 大家可以試試㩒啲掣玩下㗎, 當然我知大家唔會用啦, 之不過純粹係滿足我自己獨有嘅"scripteasing"之癮啫~~ :p

when you are buying things in a supermarket or dining in a restaurant, do you have a habit to roughly count how much you are going to pay later?? just silently calculate in heart, or conveniently take out your phone to make a precise computation using the built-in calculator?? i will always roughly count in heart, so that with an idea of the total, i will not get a shock at the cashier, and if there is discrepancy in the price of the items (especially discounted items that are not updated in the system), i will not be ignorant.. also there are times that i will take out my phone to calculate the unit price when i am comparing between two items, the one with a lower unit price is sure more worth buying even though it's more expensive (eg: RM2.00 for a 250ml drink vs RM2.50 for a 325ml drink).. now you can see how i am quite sensitive with numbers huh?? haha, instead of saying i am so uncle to even be so "kiasu" with every single sen i have, rather say i am slightly being more careful when it comes to money?? well, the money i earned is surely not easy, that's why i treasure them a lot, wokay?? :p [PS] since it's friday which i usually build some interactive elements in my post, the simple calculator above is actually a WORKING one!! try clicking the buttons, but i bet you won't be using, it's there just to satisfy myself with my proprietary "scripteasing" fun, haha~~ :D

大家有冇好掛住我fing-fing呀?? 今日就等我帶佢出嚟同大家見個面, 咁你有冇發現佢同平時有少少唔同?? 係喇, fing-fing今次係企到直一直呀.. 就好似佢爸爸經常整蠱佢啲朋友話, 成日坐喺寫字樓做嘢, 坐到個肚腩越圓, 個屁股越大!! 講開又講, 當打完呢一句之後, 其實佢已經即刻企咗喺度繼續打字, 哈哈!! 其實唔淨止係肚腩同屁股, 如果一個人坐到個姿勢唔正確, 尤其長時間對著電腦嘅朋友, 血液循環唔好, 而且有好大機會搞到背部/頸部/膊頭酸痛㗎.. 所以fing-fing今次就做咗個很好的示範, 如果你覺得自己已經坐低咗好耐, 真係不妨企起身, 行一行甚至鬆一鬆身體, 五分鐘都夠好㗎喇.. 如此推論得到一個結論, 就係話我哋大家辛苦工作咗一整個星期, 週末其實係好應該俾自己輕鬆一下嘅.. 今日係星期五而明天就係週末啦, 我哋大家都喜愛週末係唔係?? 哈哈, 祝大家有個開心愉快嘅週末啦~~ :)

have you been missing my fing-fing a lot?? i'm bringing him to meet everyone today, and did you realise something different from the usual him?? ah yes, fing-fing is standing all right up this time.. like his daddy always teases his friends who mostly work in offices, don't sit too much else your tummy gets rounder and your butt gets wider!! ooopsss, after he finished typing that sentence, he was actually standing up to continue, haha!! actually besides tummy and butt, if one is not sitting with a correct posture (especially when too focused on looking at the computer), it's not good for blood circulation and chances of getting shoulder, neck and back pain are actually high.. that is why fing-fing is doing a good example, if you realize that you've been sitting too much, it's good to stand up, walk around or do some stretching for perhaps a short 5 minutes.. which put through a conclusion that, after a long week of hard work, we all deserve a break during the weekend.. it's friday today and tomorrow is weekend, don't we all just love it?? hehehe, have a great weekend ahead everyone~~ :)

打開你嘅銀包或手袋, 你可能發現裡面嘅會員卡呀優惠卡呀, 加上嚟比起你其他啲證件仲要多.. 今時今日感覺上去親邊度買嘢, 都好似(有需)要遞張會員卡, 可以儲積分或得到額外優惠, 就連街邊大牌檔都可能有呢一種玩意呀.. 我就忽然之間突發其想, 想話知道各位對呢啲所謂嘅會員積分或會員優惠, 究竟有何睇法?? 假設你正在排緊隊俾錢買嘢.. 如果你前面嗰位顧客係冇會員卡嘅, 你會唔會請佢幫你碌你張會員卡, 等你可以儲額外嘅積分呢?? 如果你前面嗰位顧客係冇會員卡嘅, 你會唔會願意借你張會員卡俾佢, 等佢都可以有會員額外折扣呢?? 如果你冇會員卡但係你後面嗰位顧客係有嘅, 你會唔會主動幫佢碌佢張會員卡, 等佢可以儲額外嘅積分呢?? 如果你冇會員卡但係你後面嗰位顧客係有嘅, 你會唔會開口問佢借張會員卡, 等你都可以有會員額外折扣呢?? 我呀?? 以上全部四種情況之下, 我都肯定唔會.. 因為我實在係唔好意思同個陌生人講嘢囉, 其實更怕係俾人家兜口兜面拒絕, 呵呵!! :D

open your wallet or handbag, you will most likely find out that all your membership cards and discount cards add up to be so many more than your ID and financial cards.. it seems like everywhere we go buy things nowadays, we will probably (need to) use some kind of loyalty card for some extra perks, and even roadside stalls may have that mind you.. i suddenly have a thought about all these cards and points thingy, and a little curious about how different people view them.. imagine yourself queuing at the cashier ready to pay for your goods.. if the person in front does not have a loyalty card, would you ask his or her favor to swipe your card so that you could earn some extra points?? if the person in front does not have a loyalty card, would you offer to lend your card if cardholders are entitled to special discounts?? if you do not have a loyalty card but the person behind has, would you offer to swipe his or her card so that the points are not wasted?? if you do not have a loyalty card but the person behind has, would you borrow his or her card so that you are entitled to members-only special discounts?? how about myself then?? definitely it will be negative for all the four situations above.. because i am too shy to talk to a stranger, but actually more worry about the awkwardness if being declined, haha!! :D

唔知大家見到呢張相之後, 會因為個色調而覺得佢恐怖, 定係因為個卡通主角而覺得佢可愛呢?? 點都好, 依家係農曆七月嘛, 我原本就係要佢有個恐怖feel嘅, 所以請大家都覺得佢恐怖啦, 呵呵!! 農曆七月喺華人嘅傳統裡面, 又俗稱為「鬼月」, 相信呢一個月內, 地府鬼門關打開, 孤魂野鬼可以喺人間四處遊蕩.. 細個嘅時候對呢一個月, 尤其係七月十四呢一日, 特別有份畏懼.. 不過大大下就其實覺得冇咩點啦, 都係介於信同唔信之間, 唔好疑神疑鬼就唔會自己嚇自己, 但係一啲禁忌我就覺得唔好忽略囉.. 老實講一句, 就當呢個世界有鬼魂呢回事, 大家生存喺唔同嘅空間, 互不干擾嘅話就肯定可以安然共存.. 無論係人係鬼, 呢個世界呢個空間唔係淨係圍繞你一個而存在, 所以個人認為大家都互相尊重係最重要嘅關鍵.. :)

wonder if you will find this photo spooky because of the color, or cute because of the cartoon character?? anyway, since this is the seventh month of the chinese calendar, i actually wanted it to look spooky, so please think it is spooky, haha!! it is also know as the "hungry ghost month" in the chinese tradition, where it is believed that during this month, the gates of hell are opened and hungry ghosts are free to roam the earth.. when i was a kid, i was kind of scared of this month especially on the 14th day itself.. but when i slowly grow older, i thought that was actually nothing much and i placed myself in between believing and disbelieving.. just refrain from thinking about ghosts all the time and i shall not frighten myself, but i still think that traditional practices and taboos shall not be neglected.. frankly speaking, let's just treat there are ghosts, but we are existing in different dimensions, if we do not disturb each other i guess probably we co-exist naturally.. be it human or ghost, the world or the dimension we are living in does not only run around you alone, hence mutual respect is what i personally think describes the prime importance..

老老實實, 今日真係冇咩靈感要寫啲乜嘢.. 對我嚟講, 攝位post通常都離不開食物㗎喇, 哈哈!! 摷到呢張數月前影低嘅相, 兩條烤豬肉香腸配一碗兜嘅生菜+青瓜+粟米粒.. 當然有咗呢張相嘅啟發, 我依家知道要寫啲咩喇, 呵呵.. 冇囉, 我冇咩好特別嘅沙律醬囉, 其實我都唔係幾喜歡嗰啲好creamy嘅沙律醬(例如好多人都以為係整沙律必然要落嘅蛋黃醬又或者千島醬咁), 我其實比較喜歡cream-free囉, 所以啲油醋之類比較清新又冇咁heavy嘅沙律醬會比較啱我口味多啲.. 當然, 好似我咁十年先入廚房一次整嘢食嘅人, 手頭上係冇咩材料喺度㗎喇, 就見步行步, 隨意唧啲檸檬汁同灑少少鹽啦.. 嗯, 簡單新鮮不過絕對有滿足嘅午餐..

okay, let me be frank that nothing much actually comes to my mind about what to blog about today.. filler posts always happen to be food post for me, haha!! found this photo i took couple of months ago, two grilled sausages on a bed of coral lettuce and cucumbers and corn kernels.. of course, inspired by this photo, i now know what i want to talk about, hehe.. nope, i didn't have any complicated dressing for my salad, in fact i kind of dislike creamy dressing (for example, mayonnaise and thousand island that many worship them so much as if they are the "de facto" dressing for salads).. i would rather like my salad to be "cream-free", hence light and refreshing types of dressing (for example, vinaigrette based) would be my preference.. but of course to someone like me who hardly prepare food for myself, i have limited ingredients with me.. so i improvised, squeezed a little lemon juice and sprinkled a little salt as the dressing for this.. hmmm, that was a simply fresh yet satisfying lunch..

如果你話一件麵包RM1嘅話, 好可能我唔會有興趣去買.. 但係如果你話一件麵包原價係RM2, 依家五折賣RM1嘅話, 有好大機會我會去買!! 究竟係我自己「師奶仔」性格作祟, 定係大部份人都有呢種想法呢?? 正如我會為咗贈品而買某樣嘢咁, 哈哈!! 某日見到呢啲cupbread, 新產品做緊五折優惠不特止, 憑該麵包店facebook上索取嘅折扣代號, 仲可以享有額外八折!! 你話喇, 怎麼不叫人心動呢?? 結果每個口味拎一件, 折得嚟總共RM2.70(約US$0.89), 平均一件都唔駕駛RM0.70!! 味道本來都叫做唔錯㗎喇, 但係咁平買返嚟, 將佢升呢叫做好味道都不為過份啦, 係唔係先?? 呵呵~~ :D

if you tell me a bun is selling at RM1, i may not be interested to buy.. but if you tell me a bun was selling at RM2 but now half-priced at RM1, there is a big possibility that i will buy it!! is it because of my "auntie attitude", or most of the people out there are having the similar thinking?? just like i would buy something because of the freebies, hahaha!! so that's when i saw these cupbread couple of days ago, new items at 50% off promotion but that's not the end of the story, if you go to their facebook and grab another discount code, you are entitled for an additional 20% off!! now tell me, how can that not be attractive?? i picked one for each flavor and the total after discounts was only RM2.70 (about US$0.89), not even RM0.70 each in average!! the tastes were already not bad, but with such a steal, i think it's not wrong to even "upgrade" them to delicious, agree?? haha~~ :D

前日經過大使路政府部門大廈嘅時候, 朋友突如其來話「我哋去換新嘅身份證囉!!」, 就咁好即興地掟個彎駛咗入去.. 弊傢伙, 我完全冇準備, 頭髮又冇梳好嚟, 跟住又係是但著咗件衫咁!! 結果盲頭烏蠅喺廿分鐘內登記完, 俾埋錢, 影埋相, 等第二朝再去領取.. 其實點解我會咁在意呢?? 大家有冇發覺到證件上嗰張相, 往往就係你一生人當中最薯最難睇嘅一張相, 連自己都要好耐先可以接受到?? 偏偏仲要係你嘅身份象征!! 我依家知點解喇, 因為影證件相時, 大家都係最拘緊最唔自然嘅, 就算有笑容都係硬棒棒, 咁樣點會好睇呢?? 加上我當時咁即興, 毫無準備之下去影, 你睇下, 家陣搞到張相咁鬼肉酸!! 死啦, 可能仲要跟住我個十年八年㗎.. 唉, 其實我有衝動再做過張新證件, 至少可以影過張靚仔啲嘅相呵?? 不過點影結果都一樣啦, 係個樣嘅問題, 唔係張相嘅問題囉~~:D

passed by the government agency complex at Jalan Duta the other day, my friend suddenly said "let's go change for our new identity cards!!", and so we spontaneously made a turn into the building.. OMG, i wasn't prepared at all, didn't get my hair styled up nicely and was wearing a fugly tee!! so within 20 minutes i blurringly registered, paid, took photo and wait to collect the new identity card the next morning.. why do i care so much really?? have you ever noticed that photo on your ID is probably the most nerdy and most ugly photo of your lifetime, and it took you so long to accept it?? moreover, it represents your identity!! now i know why, all the time when we take ID photos, we are kind of stressed and overly serious, even when we put on a smile it may just be a hard one, tell me how can we look good like that?? furthermore i went there totally unprepared, now look at how frustratingly fugly it is!! die lor, this photo will follow me for at least another ten years.. haiz, i actually have an impulse to redo a new identity card, at least i can take a nicer photo huh?? but then it will still be the same, the problem lies in how i look and not the photo itself~~ :D

話咁快已經二月喇, 距離農曆新年尚有10日, 相信好多讀者都開始為新年而忙碌啦.. 我就唔會囉, 因為我一嬲都唔駛點煩惱啲新年濕碎嘢嘅, 不過新衫我的確仲未買.. 呢一方面我絕對係last-minute態度㗎, 我諗下個星期我先會行動嘅應該.. 咁我又忙緊咩呢?? 忙緊呢兩個星期嘅post囉, 儘量schedule啲新post, 咁新年期間就唔駛煩啦, 哈哈!! 講返上面呢張相(對唔住, 扯太遠喇!!), 上個星期買咗呢隻好趣緻嘅招財貓飾物, 好有新年feel但係又唔係太俗.. 本來諗住買多個送俾讀者嘅, 不過後尾諗到每次我啲有獎游戲都冇乜人參加, 都係無謂嘥錢嘥心機好喇, 哈哈!!

so fast it's february already!! guess many people are getting busy for CNY already, since it's just 10 days away.. not for me really as i don't quite need to worry about the CNY chores, haha.. haven't even get myself any new clothes for CNY, guess i am quite last minute kind of person when it comes to this, perhaps next week would be time for me to take action.. so what am i busy with?? scheduling new posts for the next two weeks, so i have no worries during CNY, haha!! anyway, back to the story of the photo (oh, i digressed too much!!), bought this very cute prosperity cat deco last week, very CNY feel yet not very cheena.. initially thought of giving away to readers, but second thought, every giveaway contest i had didn't attract many people to participate, so rather not waste my money and effort, haha!!

可能係最近天氣嘅關係, 搞到自己發熱氣, 跟住就好「順理成章」咁有啲發燒/扁桃體發炎/咳嗽.. 任你話我怕死, 每次一有咩頭暈身興, 我都儘可能第一時間對診下藥, 病向淺中醫呀, 唔通要積到大病先嚟辛苦咩?? 以前讀書時期, 就算病都絕對唔會請假, 因為請假係會扣分㗎, 其實諗返起都覺得唔應該呵?? 不過出嚟社會做嘢之後, 能夠請病假在家休息當然最好啦, 公司一年俾你十幾日病假, 點解要慳?? 哈哈!! 當然家下本人尚在求職期間, 冇醫藥津貼, 唯有自己去藥行買成藥, 自己醫自己啦.. 以上paracetemol/化痰止咳丸/潤喉糖, 都幾有效喎, 我啪兩劑再嚟個大覺瞓, 其實都好得七七八八喇, 感恩~~ :)

maybe it's the weather, my body gets heaty and naturally this is followed by slight fever, tonsillitis and coughs.. say me kiasi but every time i feel something not right, i'd rather get treatment earliest possible.. the chinese say "treat your illness while it's still not acute" as you do not want to drag till you suffer greater pain right?? when i was in high school, i don't take leave even when sick, because marks were deducted if students were absent from school for any reason, rethinking this i kind of feel like it's quite unreasonable huh?? anyway when started to work of course it's best to be able to take sick leave and rest at home, the company grant you 10 over days of sick leave, why not utilize them?? haha!! of course now that i'm seeking for job, there is no medical claim, so i can only be my own doctor and have my DIY prescription.. the paracetamol, cough capsules and lozenges above are quite effective, after two dosages and a good sleep, i think i'm quite well recovered, grateful~~ :)

來到新嘅一年第二個星期, 相信大家都已經由持續嘅慶祝活動回歸平常生活喇.. 大家盡情狂玩狂歡狂飲狂食啦嘛?? 聖誕嗰日做咗人生最瘋狂嘅一件事, 就係學人去食「浦飛馬拉松」!! 即係以一個價錢, 由中午12點, 無限次食自助餐, 食到夜晚10點!! 聽落好抵好吸引, 但係呢一次真正令自己體會到咩叫做「不復當年勇」, 其實唔係食咗好多嘢, 但係就開始覺得好飽喇.. 雖然我仍然好喜歡浦飛, 但係不得不認老喇, 與其辛苦自己, 倒不如以同樣價錢食啲比較精緻嘅嘢.. 人老咗, 就要懂得「貴精唔貴多」呢條道理喇~~ :)

it's the second week of the new year, i guess everyone should have already gone back to normal life after all the celebrations.. so how were all your celebrations and feasting?? the craziest things i did on christmas day was going for the "buffet marathon"!! meaning with one single price, we are allowed to have unlimited times of buffet from 12pm till 10pm on the same day!! sounds interesting and worth the money, but i rather think this time is the time i really felt i am not capable of eating as much as i (think i) could, though not really ate a lot i already felt my stomach bloated.. though i still like having buffet, i cannot deny the aging process and why not use the same money to have something more fine than to make myself suffer?? as we grow older, i guess we should start to appreciate what is "quality over quantity".. :)

驟眼睇嚟, 呢塊電板都幾似一個城市, 電板上嘅每一個電子零件就好似建築物咁.. 砌呢啲電板都幾有趣㗎, 我當年尚未(盲蹤蹤)入資訊科技呢一行之前, 其實係讀電子工程嘅, 所以大學時候係有機會玩下砌電板㗎.. 唔好以為就咁擺埋啲電子零件就得, 其實要點樣擺, 點樣避免交叉電路, 都幾靠功夫㗎, 絕對難過砌puzzle呀, 哈哈!! 其實我點解會寫關於電板嘅?? 自己都唔知, 就係見到呢塊電板, 影咗張相, 就自自然然咁寫喇, 其實都冇咩特別意思嘅.. 可能今後我會隨手影張相, 跟住就借題發揮, 睇下有何啟發, 應該就比預先諗好要寫啲咩來的容易啩?? :)

if you didn't look closely, this circuit board just looks like a city, and the electronic components mounted on it looks like all the buildings.. building circuit board can be quite fun, before i (blindly) get into the IT industry, i was actually an electronic engineering student, that was when i had chances to build my own circuit boards back in the university days.. but don't think it's as easy as placing the components onto the board, how you place them and how you avoid cross circuit is rather demanding of skills and experience, definitely tougher than playing puzzles, haha!! why am i writing about circuit board?? i have no idea too, i just knew i saw this circuit board and took a photo, and naturally write something about it, nothing special really.. perhaps from now onwards, i may just snap a photo anywhere and then just write what that photo tells me, should be easier than to have to think ahead what to blog about the day huh?? :)

咁快已經十一月!! 整理房間嘅時候執咗呢兩疊舊雜誌出嚟, 因為阻掟所以諗住處理一下.. 以每本平均RM10計, 呢度大大話話都洗咗我RM400(!!), 所以打算等「收舊報紙」嚟, 至少都可以賺返少少錢吖.. 不過如果我話呢兩疊舊雜誌已經收埋喺度積塵超過一年, 你可能會唔信, 不過卻係個事實.. 我係知道有時早上有架「收舊報紙」貨車會出現我呢一區, 不過問題在於, 每次當聽到「收舊報紙」想話落樓嘅時候, 架貨車已經不知所蹤, 連至少喺幾個特定位置暫時停低都冇.. 每次都只聞其聲, 不見其影.. 曾經有諗過企喺路邊仆佢嘅, 咁就萬無一失啦, 不過弊就弊在, 我捉唔到佢個timing, 而且戇居居企喺路邊, 好似好傻咁喎~~ :D

it's already november folks!! i have these two piles of old magazines when i was cleaning my room, so wanted to get rid of them.. but considering i've spent like RM10 for each of them, so they cost me like RM400(!!).. that's why i am thinking of waiting for the "old newspaper" van to come, so that i can at least get some money out of that.. and you'd be surprise if i tell you that they have been laying there collecting dust for more than a year!! i know there's an "old newspaper" van patrolling by my housing area in the morning, the problem is, i hear the van passes by playing that "surat khabar lama" voice record, but it really just passes by without making stops at least at some fixed locations.. by the time i rush down from my room it has gone out of sight, i don't even know what it looks like and doesn't seem to pass by a second time.. i've thought of stalking it by the roadside, like that i definitely won't miss it right?? but then i still can't catch its timing, and standing by the roadside i would look so dumb~~ :D
