I Bought Birthday Presents (for Myself)

大家睇咗我生日收到咩禮物之後, 我就想問大家, 會唔會買生日禮物俾自己?? 或者我應該咁問, 會唔會用生日做籍囗乘機買嘢俾自己?? 我要承認我的確會, why not?? 我哋應該經常都愛鍚自己, 尤其大時大節嘅時候, 大家認同嗎?? 呵呵..

好喇, 大家睇到上面張相中嘅巨型麻包袋未(可與張椅作比較)?? 其實係我同幾位朋友, 大家各自網上購物, 然之後將貨物由中國各地齊集於一個臨時貨倉, 最後合併全部一齊運嚟吉隆坡(呢個係「寶寶」網購以減低運送費用嘅運作模式).. 呢一袋嘢足足有15.7kg重, 不過我啲嘢只佔一成.. 想唔想知我買咗啲咩?? click入張相就自有分曉~~ :)

after reading about what i received for my birthday in the previous post, may i ask, do you buy birthday presents for yourself?? or rather i shall ask, do you take excuse of your birthday to buy presents for yourself?? i confess i definitely do, why not?? we should often love and pamper ourselves, especially on special days, don't you agree?? hehe..

now, you see that huge gunny bag (compare it to the chair) in the photo above?? well, it happened that a few of us brought things from an online store, gathered our goodies from all over China to a central warehouse and finally shipped them all together back to KL (this is the working model of "Baobao" to keep shipping cost at the lowest).. this bag is 15.7kg in total weight, but mine is just 10% of it, wonder what i bought?? click on the photo above to unveil~~ :)

What I Got for My Birthday

大家睇咗我生日那天做過啲咩之後, 今日我要繼續炫耀我今年生日收到啲咩禮物, 如下圖所概括(點擊可進入看更多照片).. 我知, 對好多人嚟講, 呢啲嘢可能係微不足道.. 但係對我而言, 有人記得自己生日, 不辭勞苦去買份禮物仲送到自己手中, 單係心意就足以今人感動.. 況且一把年紀都仲有禮物收, 算得係福氣啦, 係唔係先?? 我係真心喜歡所有禮物㗎, 而且大家有眼見我鍾意啲乜嘢啦, 哈哈!! 當我拆開禮物嗰一刻, 見到入面係啲咩禮物, 我每每發自內心一笑, 真㗎!! 嘿嘿.. 喺度要衷心咁多謝每一位, 我真係萬分珍惜㗎!! :)

i hope you enjoyed reading what i did on my birthday and now let me brag about what i got for my birthday, summarized in the photo below (click in to see more photos).. okay, to many of you probably these are nothing, but to me i appreciate the thought that i am remembered and people took the trouble to buy me something and got them to my hands.. furthermore at this uncle age, it's indeed a bliss to even have present for birthday, agree?? i truthfully love all that were given to me, and it's very obvious everyone knows what i like, haha!! the moments i unwrapped the presents and saw what were inside, i giggled, seriously!! hehe.. thank you so much from the depth of my heart, i really really appreciate that!! :)

Thank YOU for My Birthday Presents

雖然個標題係話生日, 不過今日其實唔係我生日啦, 過咗差不多有三個星期喇.. 因為上一個月集中火力寫模仿貼文, 所以將呢一篇答謝貼文托到呢個月先出街.. 我真係好開心有咁多朋友送禮物俾我, 雖然我(一貫作風)唔會透露係邊幾位朋友, 不過我係真心感謝呢啲驚喜㗎, 尤其係非常珍惜大家嘅心意, 俾我再一次喺呢度公開多謝大家!! 你們都是最好的, 好貼心, 我全部禮物都非常鍾意, 所以先特別喺度炫耀一番嘛, 呵呵!! :p

well well well, though the title says birthday, it's not my birthday today but somewhere three weeks ago.. because i was all focused on writing mimic posts last month, so i delayed this thank-you post to be published this month.. i was so happy being showered with presents received from friends all over the places, though i am not revealing the sender's identity (my usual style that is), i really felt so grateful with all the surprises, especially the thoughts i appreciate a lot, and once again i would like to thank everyone of you publicly here!! you folks are indeed sweet and i love all that you have given me as presents, that is why i am showing-off them here, haha!! :p

日本京阪之旅嘅延續, 大家可以放心, 我唔係要再寫遊記轟炸大家, 而係(扮晒慷慨)想要送啲「手信」俾讀者們啫.. 話說呢一次嘅京阪の秋, 其中一樣本人非常喜歡嘅嘢就係啲紅紅黃黃嘅秋葉.. 所以就喺大阪難波宮跡同大阪城一帶, 不顧路人目光, 喺地面執咗啲紅色嘅楓葉.. 之前有讀者問我有冇執啲楓葉返嚟做書籤, 梗係有啦, 不過唔做書籤咁行, 而係做咗呢幾幅楓葉畫.. 係喇, 就係送出呢幾幅本人親手做嘅楓葉畫, 送俾喺我四篇京阪之旅遊記留言最多嘅四位讀者(我知冇咩人會欣賞, 所以做四份得啦)!! 雖然係隨手執街邊嘅落葉, 唔係咩值錢嘅手信, 不過都一擔心機, 全天下獨一無二呀, 雖然紅色葉已變成褐色葉, 呵呵!! 希望得到嘅讀者千其唔好嫌棄, 最多再送多兩盒喺日本買返嚟嘅糖果囉, 希望你哋會鍾意!! :)

呢兩次日本之旅, 我都送禮物俾喺遊記留言最多嘅讀者.. 我覺得應該公平啲, 絕對唔會有幸運抽獎.. 因為我覺得既然大家都有留言, 就應該係俾最努力(最支持)嘅幾位讀者, 而唔係睇邊個幸運抽中個random number而不費吹灰之力就能夠得獎.. 呢個係我送獎嘅方式, 世上冇免費午餐, 要得到就要付出, 付出最多就得到最多回報~~ 長話短說, 即係話大家咩都唔好諗, 喺我個blog度拼咗條老命係咁留言就啱㗎喇!! :D

a continuation for my Ōsaka and Kyotō trip, no worries, i am not going to write another travelogue to blast everyone, but to (pretend to be very generous to) giveaway some "souvenirs" to my readers.. during this trip in the autumn, one of the things i like must be those colorful autumn leaves found almost everywhere.. hence when i was around Naniwa-no-miyaato (難波の宮跡) and Ōsaka-jō (大阪城 Osaka Castle), i ignored people who might be staring and picked some red maple leaves fallen on the ground.. some readers asked if i picked any leaves back home to make them into bookmarks, of course i did, not make them into bookmarks (which is so common) but these pictures as shown above.. yes, these are what i am going to giveaway, to the four readers who have left the most comments in my recent four posts written about this trip (i know not many will like this hence i just did four)!! though something i picked from the street and not valuable at all, but i spent buckets of effort to make them, they all are surely unique and none the same as others, though the red leaves have turned brown now, hehehe!! hope those who got it will not find me cheapskate, alright alright, i'll add on two boxes of candy bought from Japan then, hope they will like it!! :)

i gaveaway prizes to the top commenters for my two recent trips, i think it should be fair that there is no "lucky draw".. to me, if everyone comments, then the ones who show most support with most number of comments should get something, and not the ones who didn't spend much effort but are lucky enough after some random numbers picked.. this is my way to give prizes, there is no free lunch, i believe that if we want something we must work hard towards it, the one who gave most effort shall have the most returns.. to make it short, you don't have to think much, just put lots of commments here in my blog and that's it!! :D

數個星期前, 朋友俾咗個面卜鏈接我, 係某知名國際服裝品牌推出新香水嘅贈送樣本活動.. 其實唔確定其真實性, 不過見個網頁又冇要求咩過密質料, 所以就填咗基本個人資料, 睇下係唔係真嘅會寄份樣本過嚟.. 噚日返到屋企, 見有個由瑞典寄嚟好骨子嘅信封, 印晒logo靚咁靚, 仲係用光面紙.. 真係個香水樣本喎, 冇搞錯, 真係堅嘢嚟, 抵贊!! 拆開個靚信封, 我笑咗出嚟, 唔係因為我太開心, 而係因為睇到裡面個香水樣本.. 好啦, 上面張相你所見嘅, 就係全部嘢㗎喇, 見唔見個樣本喺邊呀?? 可能係我之前過份樂觀, 本以為會有嗰啲細細支大概二毫升一樽嘅香水, 點知竟然係一張貼紙後面放咗0.071毫升, 擺喺印刷精美嘅傳單正中間(圖中有閃光處)!! 我諗都足夠我個鼻索一次嘅, 幾咁慷慨呀, 哈哈!! 之不過, 我又冇怨言嘅, 話晒唔駛錢, 而且講到明係樣本唔係試用, 而且遠道由瑞典寄嚟, 重要印刷到誠意十足, 都算係咁啦.. 講開又講, 我哋平時買香水咪又係要囈要氹, 個sales先係咁意俾一個半個樣本你?? 不過諗深一層, 點解唔俾每個國家各自派發樣本呢?? 咁樣應該可以將慳落嚟嘅郵費, 轉移去做多啲份量嘅樣本, 咁咪更加顯得大方得體囉?? 都係我(消費者角度)嘅小小意見啫~~ :p

few weeks ago, a friend gave me a link on facebook for a free sample of the new fragrance by an international renowned fashion brand.. uncertain of its authenticity, but since there was no sensitive information requested, i keyed in my basic details and waited to see if there is really something sent to me.. got home yesterday and saw an elegant envelope for me from Sweden, nicely printed with its logo on glossy paper.. it's the fragrance, no joke, they are serious and sent me a sample, nice!! i opened it and laughed, not because i was overjoyed, but because of the sample enclosed.. okay, that's all the content in the envelope in the photo, see any fragrance sample?? maybe it's just me who was overly optimistic, i thought i would be getting something like a little 2ml bottle of fragrance sample.. but end up this is what i got - some 0.071ml loaded under the adhesive flap in the center (that bling-bling spot in the photo)!! i think that's enough for ONE SNIFF, how generous, haha!! anyway, i won't complain since it's free, stated sample and not trial, sent all the way from Sweden and very sincere with the nicely printed packaging.. on second thought, we even have to "beg" for extra samples if we purchase perfumes over the counter, right?? i was thinking, why not they distribute the samples locally, so they can transfer the postage cost onto bigger samples or trials, hence more presentable?? just my humble thoughts (from the view of a consumer).. :p

今年生日與朋友聚餐飯局睇戲, 同時都有朋友透過facebook及whatsapp留言祝賀, 特別借呢個機會再次多謝大家嘅祝賀.. 今年可算係非常幸福, 本以為「年事已高」就唔會點收到禮物啦, 誰不知竟然陸續收到多份驚喜!! 雖然話心意最重要, 禮物都係其次, 但係能夠實實在在有份生日禮物喺你手上, 個感覺係更加窩心.. 以上生日禮物確實令我既開心又感動, 當然我係依慣例不便公開送禮者係邊位啦, 不過內心係非常之感謝同珍惜嘅!! 多謝晒各位親愛嘅朋友, 令我再有多個愉快難忘嘅生日~~ :)

the birthday this year i gathered with friends for food and movie, and at the same time received greetings from friends through faceboook and whatsapp, i would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone again for the birthday greetings.. i regard myself to be very blessed this year, while i did not expect presents due to my old age, there came surprises one after another!! though we often say the heart is more important than the presents, to have a real birthday present on our hands somehow makes us feel more warmth in heart.. all the presents above surely make me happy and moved me, as usual i am not going to reveal who are the givers but deep in my heart i truly appreciate everything given!! thank you so much my beloved friends for making yet another birthday so unforgettable~~ :)

係, 我知係我衰, 之前連續六個關於東京之旅嘅post不停轟炸咁大家, 所以我覺得願意花時間去睇同埋費神去留言嘅讀者, 你哋嘅支持係非常值得我獎賞啲嘢嘅!! 其實我不嬲去旅行都唔習慣買嘢嘅, 但係呢一次就為咗讀者破例一次, 專程由東京托一大袋日本零食返嚟.. 本人謹此發誓, 我唔係喺馬來西亞求其買啲嘢就當係日本手信㗎!! 望著呢一大袋零食, 我覺得就咁樣一人一包好似毫無誠意可言, 所以我用咗啲時間諗下應該點包裝, 先可以睇落唔cheap得嚟又感覺高檔少少.. 卒之就有咗便當呢個構思, 再加上靈感來自日本和服嘅紅白絲帶, 希望以呢啲スナック弁当(零食便當)做手信可以感覺日本啲啦.. 想裝下便當裡面有啲咩, 同埋知道邊幾位勤力嘅讀者會得到, 請按上面圖片揭曉啦!! 呢次冇咁好彩嘅朋友, 記住以後要再接再勵哦~~ :)

right right, my bad, i bombarded everyone with back-to-back posts all about my tokyo trip recently, so i think readers who had bothered to spend time reading and effort commenting deserve some rewards for their support.. i don't usually shop and grab lots of things when i go travel, but this time i've managed to carry with me all the way from tokyo some japanese snacks especially for my fellow bloggers, i swear i didn't buy them here and fake them as sourvenirs from japan, haha!! looking at those snacks, i think by just giving each a packet is so not sincere, so i took some time to figure out how to package them, in order to not look cheap but a little more high class.. finally the idea of BENTO came into my mind, also with the white and red color ribbon inspired by kimono, i hope these スナック弁当 (snacks bento) give a touch of japanese as souvenirs.. click on the photo above to sneak what are inside the bento, and who are the top hardworking bloggers who are owning one of those!! for those who are not lucky enough this time, remember you can also make it in the future~~ :)
