16.08.2012 | 同鞋共襪

[Volume 7 Issue 8, #1508]
[Isetan @ Lot 10, Bukit Bintang]
i am not particular on shoes, as long as they look nice and i'm comfortable wearing them, i am fine.. my shoes are all "multi-purpose", i can wear the same pair everyday to walk and to run at any occasion, and hence they worn out rather quickly.. accidentally saw these shoes at RM99 a pair yesterday, and so happened that the one i was wearing is already so dirty (because i have never washed them) and almost holey, i decided on the spot to get my new shoes.. when trying the shoes, i forgot the socks i was wearing were also worn out, when i took off my shoes, the whole sock came out stuck in the shoe too!! gosh, my bare naked foot exposed and seen by the sales, that was so wrongly awkward!! of course i managed (and have to) to get my new shoes at last, put on straight away and packed the old one really to dump!! guess which shoes i bought??

hate buying new hhigh heels coz need to break them i otherwise will"bite" my legs.

Used a few methods and yet still will kena "bite". People say rub candle wax, i tried before and doesnt works, then bite the shoe before it bite you also tried before. End up best way is put plaster behind my ankle before wear new shoe ...no blister :)

    ReplyDelete

    1. Wah, need to bite the shoe before it bite you? Really got this remedy or it's just old wives tales?

I usually use plaster to protect my ankle if I'm wearing new shoes. But I can't put plaster all time. Once I threw away my new heels because it refused to 'cooperate' with my feet after worn it several times.

      Delete
    2. obviously that remedy did not work lor. LOL...so had to put plaster.

      Delete
    3. I bite my shoes or tak bite also the same. xD

      Delete
    4. sigh....that's why i say those old folk remedy tarak work for me. the heels still kena blister. Thats why i like to wear sport shoes everywhere coz easy. sure wont have blister in the feet

When I first entered uni, my orientation week was like hell. We were required to wear formally, so I had blouse and long skirt and heels. One thing that I didn't expect was, my hostel was on the other side of the hill. Imagine I have to wear my heels to climb up and down the hill daily and by 3rd day, I got blister on my feet! Horrible!! Hill and heels!

Not to mention the water crisis made my day worse!

    3. kinda troublesome to take out the sport shoes and socks when wanna shoe for shoes. same goes for shopping for pants or dresses. Wearing sport shoes to shop for those very mah farn

    2. I learnt that in US the people wear shoes all the time and they were unhappy that they had to remove their shoes to enter my apartment!! Even though they still had socks on, they find it offensive! Worst of all is being barefooted, it was like No No! Later I was surprised that there are feet fetish peeps who got very horny looking at feet. Then my classmate scolded me that asking him to remove shoes was like telling him to go naked. He took me to a porno shop selling HCP that showed many feet sex only. Goodness!

So Kaldip is KL Benggali or American Born Benggali?

    3. Hah! but i thought they wear shoes over there coz cold weather and some houses/apartment kedekut doesnt wanna turn on the heater during cold weather.

Ewwww.....wear shoes everywhere in the house so dirty leh. Unless you say changed to house slipper la. then that one is okay la.

    6. I prefer shoeless at home, more hygiene mah. Imagine what you shoes 'collected' all the way before entering your house - poo poo, sand, dung beetle.

In Asia, if you wear the shoes into someone's house, you are regarded as offensive~ Terbalik with mat salleh!

    ReplyDelete
  26. SK, did you buy socks also? Your socks so loose already, you better buy new pair of socks to go with your new sport shoes.

You should use a rubber band to tie your socks at you leg. I used to do that when I was in my primary school.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yannie, the rubber tactic is only useful to lil boys. Ask SK to tie it, he lagi tak berani wanna buy shoes. Later the sales girl chuckles at it.

Eh, why SK blushed when the sales girl looked at you? Are you, ahem, trying to tackle the girl :O

    2. oh ya hor. You reminded me about the Rubber ban method.

During my school days. there was one hateful teacher who thought up this horrible method to make money for the school.

Went and print out school name on the sock. Compulsory to buy and wear. If dont wear then will kena fine.

Cilaka betul. The sock quality was poor. Not even half year the "rubber" already loose. End up having to wear the socks with rubber bands. Not cheap also that time the sock.

      Delete
    3. Last time, most families were poor. We have bared with loose socks until it totally worn out. So, rubber band was used to tighten the loose socks.
