bought three books at one go three months back (actually just wanted to get 10% discount with purchase of RM100 and above, haha!!), by right i should have finished reading all of them, but shamefully, i have not even finished reading half of the first book, what a shame.. [continue >>]

  51. The Life of Gandhi should be good. A respectful man of peace and non violence. BTW I see the same happening in your comment column too. Have registered 51 cheers but showed only 24 comments, Bananaz & Bluedreamer faced the same most of comments just vanished. Your few comments were no longer there. What could have happened for the comments to MIA???

  79. khengsiong:
hahahaha, from your photo i think you are :p you like Da Vinci Code but don't like Kite Runner?? hmmm, then i guess you are more into thriller/investigation type rather than pure literatue.. right?? as for Waiter Rant, i think you can go to his blog and read first before deciding to get the bookk :)

    Wois:
no, i didn't say i'm not reading, i'll sure finish them, just a matter of time when i'll be able to finish.. hmmm, you still haven't touched your book somemore ask me to give you my books?? hehe.. eih, you always go to KLCC one meh??

    ReplyDelete
  82. uLi.
haha, unbelievable leh?? actually not that i love to read, just that i bought the books to exempt tax, and since i bought then must read mah right?? but compared to smallkucing, i'm really just a small kucing only lor, not comparable with her leh..

    Kelvin:
wow, interesting!! guess you must be someone who loves to read??

    ReplyDelete
  83. edward:

    Big Boys Oven:
yeah, i think the 1st book is rather boring.. i hope to quickly finish it and continue with Waiter Rant and Gandhi.. hmmm, i guess you will be interested in Waiter Rant huh, since you're such a gastronome.. hehehe~~ :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. Ashley:

    Bananazஇ:
yeah, that's what i think, after reading Empress Dowager i kind of think Gandhi should be another interesting icon to read on.. yeah, the blogger's comment system has some problem since tuesday, many comments are missing.. but they have fixed the problem on thursday night, and now all back to normal already.. that's why i can only reply all the comments so late now..

    ReplyDelete
  85. Donna:
yalor, the comment system rosak since tuesday morning, so geram i cannot read all the comments.. but now ok already lah.. hmmm, i think it's good you get a local sim card there.. if you need to call any local number or even call back to malaysia mah.. you can try the company called "3", i think starting from HK$100, call back malaysia quite cheap one.. i think it's good to make reservations for the restaurant, you know lah, HK always very crowded everywhere one..

    fufu:
yeah, you are a student, so please only read your textbook and nothing else~~ :D

    ReplyDelete
  86. foongpc:
haha, you so busy?? what are you busying with?? busying with Twitter?? hahahaha.. since you bought so many books, not good to let them gather dust on the shelf lah, they will hate you.. so quick go and read up at least two books before this year!! haha.. yeah, i bought the books because i want to get the tax rebate actually.. i don't really read, but since i bought them, can't just leave them aside right?? it's wasting money..

    HappySurfer:
oh, you've been following the Waiter Rant blog?? hmmm, but i guess the book should be still interesting right??

    ReplyDelete
  87. Dora:
yeah, i only read when i have time and i have nothing to do.. but i'm not into coffee at all.. normally i just read on my bed.. :)

    mNhL:
hmmm, actually reading is a good thing.. even if you don't read, but i guess you should bring up your kids to read story books.. yeah, the Waiter Rant should be quite interesting i guess..

    ReplyDelete
  88. bluedreamer27:
haha, i guess i'm totally different from your taste.. i prefer non-fiction than fiction.. thick book is ok for me as long as it's interesting.. i started off with thin ones, and after reading a few, i start to challenge myself with thicker ones.. hmmm, to me ambience is not that important, as soon as i concentrate reading, then i will be really concentrate already.. hahaha~~

    Ed:

    ReplyDelete
  89. wow, cool!! all those THICK books are you reading, haha!!

    ReplyDelete
  90. don't know about "The Lovely Bones", but i think "Waiter Rant" should be quite interesting.. as for "Gandhi", hmmm, i think i'd just give it a pass, hahahaha!!!

  93. victor:
haha, not really thick but i guess still able to finish reading them.. yeah, i really find "The Lovely Bones" very boring, that's why i am still not able to finish reading this book, and without finish reading this, i won't be able to start with the other two books.. hmmm, tough yeah??

    Ayie:
haha, of course if you need to buy any books, buy something that you think it's helpful.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  94. recently hard to concentrate to finish a book. Non fiction is easier to digest, so better option for now. when in high school, I read guiness book. Does that count as fiction?

    ReplyDelete
  95. Ghosty Nana:
haha, why cannot concentrate?? because getting old already?? hmmm, maybe it's true, non-fiction is straight forward to the fact, unlike fiction most of the time is trying to plot and sometimes could be confusing.. guiness book?? you mean the guiness book of record?? how could that be fiction??

    ReplyDelete
  96. Lovely bones ah? i wanna vomit blood from reading this. so depressing!
