葛蘭《恭喜發財》

姚敏+姚莉《恭喜恭喜》

張露《迎春花》

吳鶯音《大地回春》
the 1st day of the 2009 CNY, i am now wearing a bright red top, to symbolise auspiciousness and prosperity.. heartfully picked the above few nostalgic CNY greeting songs for everyone, wishing everyone a happy, healthy and wealthy chinese new year!!

[note] you notice the english translation is so much shorter than the chinese.. in chinese tradition, it is good to say all those auspicious words (normally comes in phrases of 4 words), to wish everyone luck, happiness, health and wealth.. these four elements precisely summarize all those phrases in chinese :)

  1. SK Thamby... I wore a brand new Red T-shirt to sleep as my pajamas. It is believe this year's wealth Feng Shui will cover those who wore new red clothes. So you will be prosperous and wealthy!

  4. OMG !! I love these songs, rather than those English CNY songs !! I heard those English CNY songs in Chinese grocery shops, and broke out laughing loudly ! So rude. Not that I never heard them before, but still find them extremely funny.
