My Phone's Protective Case
when i was about to write a proper post today, out of a sudden an idea flashed across my mind.. we always see bloggers use the excuse sentence "let the pictures tell the story", hence i think i shall also use the same strategy especially for this rather sensitive topic.. okay, in order not to create misunderstsanding, i'm more hardworking here to give some keywords to each photo.. let's see if you can get what i wanted to say?? or probably make up some stories using the keywords?? hehe, have a great week ahead!! :)

    1. You have a collection of phone cases I suppose.

    2. To compare prices, some are really cheap around RM10-RM20. Those original ones can be around RM200. Very far apart leh. My Samseng phone case costs me RM28 - also consider it expensive jor.LoL.

    3. In the other way of thinking, you might want your phone to change casing everytime just to follow your mood. If today you wear green and your phone wears the same color too. Wah... if it is to change everyday, you will be extremely busy and headache whenever want to change the phone casing.

      Delete
    4. nothing is too many for me, haha.. actually i don't need those expensive original case since i always like to change them to suit my mood, hahaha.. and this story i am telling, is exactly how overpriced those as advertised..

    5. Ya.. I feel like I was so new here. Testwater as you mentioned, hehehe. Try to warming up first about phone casing. Yes I'm glad to announce I'm back.

    6. SK bought many cases after seeing the cheapest source. He surely has intention to sell them online in his blog or at the pasar malam at night together with Fing Fing!

  4. The ones selling in Facelook = RMB 2.60 + shipping cost (probably seller carry with hundreds of them them in their suitcase while flying RM 1.5k or something) + PosLambat fees + profit margine 60%. Adds up more or less like that lah...

Now that BaoBao seems to open up to international customers, these individual entrepreneur wannabes better find better ways to make money...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. profit margin of 60%?? that is considered a high degree of conscience already lah.. do the maths, RMB2.60 vs RM55, that is how many folds?? 20 probably??

      Delete
    2. No lah, I mean, those that you see in Facelook, they probably went all the way to China to buy rather than being smart like you.

So their cost is probably RMB 2.60 PLUS their air tickets (assuming RM 1.5k to get 300 cases back in their suitcase) RM 5 PLUS they ship to you through PosLambat maybe RM 5.

Sh*t. Even for such dumb moves to source for products, cannot justify their profit margin @.@

  5. Wahhh... you have so many casings ah... and so cheap? I thought of getting one dress for my iphone4 which is full of cracks now, but I being auntie, I cellophaned it temporary, wait till I save enough money to get a iPhone6S or 7... hmmpt! Hinting to my kids now and then and still cannot get message one... hahahahaaa... guess I have to get it with my own pocket money!

      Delete
  6. What you are trying to say is that those phone casings are over-priced lah, right? When I bought my first ever digital camera (sorry ah, off topic), the vendor tried to sell me a plastic protective cover for the screen for RM30. He told me, special offer because original price is RM65. It was only a piece of ordinary plastic!

    1. These phone covers at pasar malam pun ada at RM10 I think. But I don't buy these sort of things. My phone is not those expensive sophisticated ones. So tak payah pakai baju.

    2. exactly, you read my mind, haha.. when i started using smartphone, i also bought my casing for like RM50, but then slowly i found cheaper and cheaper case, and now even RM20 is expensive to me.. i must use case leh, i jaga my phone very carefully one.. :)

    2. the casing so darn cheap?? can't believe leh..

    3. Is damn cheap that he gave us a few photos to tell the story. Showing at Facelook is RM55 OR RM59 compared with BaoBao, SK can actually bought a variety of colors instead of only one.

      Delete
    4. hehehe, actually it should be the situation that those cases just arrived and hence they are still in the boxes and also the plastic bag, muahahaha!! well, i like changing my case often, and since they are so cheap, i don't mind buying more.. :)

      Delete
    5. RM55 or RM59 is also overpriced. If can get cheaper once, definitely must grab lor. No need to think so much and doesn't burnt your pocket. If is cheap I will opt to get more colour more choices.

  8. #1 Your Facelook photo stated RM55 for the Epal casing. Does it mean you just shared and didn't buy them? So you actually saw them selling at RM55.

  9. #2 Another ad somewhere on earth is selling the same thing for RM59 and you saw that on Facelook too. That is a difference of RM59 - RM55 = RM5.00!!! Wah! Lima Ringgit dei, can eat one roti telur with carry paneer and teh tarek!! If you buy one dozen you could save RM60! If you bought 100 pieces, you could save a grand total of RM500!!! Wow! But seriously leh...sk...can borong and sell online la if like this.shipping cost not that high, right? after all the handphone cases are quite light. sell at rm30 still worth like. Purchaser bear the cost la. Since if people see RM30 vs RM55..sure will buy the cheaper

  14. Amazing price range! I don't know lah these kinds of small, easily-obtainable things I'd rather just buy it from a brick-and-mortar shop nearby - where you can put it to a 'stress test' and which you can touch/feel/squeeze it to your heart's content or you can place it against your handbag or shoes or whatever to see if they match before you part with your money. Kwa-cheong to the max! haha..

Ok, tell us now what you didn't want to tell us in the first place.

  15. SK, are you now doing online business by selling iPhone casing? But then, I am not using iPhone, jin jin also not using iPhone.

But I also bought iPhone 6 plus casing in Japan for my brother. I spent 3300 yen to buy the Line Brown casing for him as souvenir.

    1. First picture, RM55 iPhone casing, the price is reasonable to me.

Second picture, RM59, may be it is better quality, so it is RM5 more expensive. It is still reasonable to me.

Third picture, SK bought two casings, one is RM55 and one is RM59 one. To him, both equally good and same.

Forth picture, SK found in his favorite online shop in China, all selling at RMB2.60. SK felt so cheated by the first two casings that he had bought, so he geram ordered a box of the casings. That's what you see in Fifth picture, he is going to wrap them as a gift to all his loyal readers as their Christmas gifts. Muahahaha!

This is the way how Yannie interprets these five pictures and makes up my own story.

You said let the pictures do the story wert! How is my story, SK? You like?

      Delete
    2. you are totally wrong!!! hahaha.. my story is that i saw two overpriced cases on FB, of which i have got the similar ones, but i bought them for just RMB2.60 (stressed, Renminbi) each from another online store.. and with the same amount of money to get two from FB, i actually got myself two boxes from the other online store..

      Delete
    3. Please let me know if I am wrong again this time. You spent RMB2.60 * 2 to get two cases from one online store, and you also spent RMB5.20 to get two boxes from the other online store. If this is right, then it is very cheap.

      Delete
  16. wow what a huge difference in terms of their price... how about the quality SK?.. i bet they don't differ that much right? That's definitely a great find but I wonder why you bought so many? how often do you change your phone case?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. actually not only the case, but I always buy things from that online shop in China and even with shipping direct to me, the stuffs are always a lot cheaper.. I bought the case so I can change often, can't tell you the frequency but usually it's by mood and when I remember.. :)

      Delete
    2. what kind of payment system do they have? Do they accept paypal...can you share me the site hehe i might take a peek and maybe I can buy some stuffs too

  17. Sia mi, so don't understand, hahaha....So you want to get a phone case, then you start searching, Facebook the one selling 55 then you found a cheaper one in taobao...but in the end got it free from your friend?

    Hahaha...just simply guess...

    ReplyDelete
  18. I only have one and only phone case

  19. Your story is it is cheaper to buy from Bao Bao is it?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Wow, you have many phone cases. I just have one. My girl has a couple of cases too and she likes to change it frequently.

    ReplyDelete
  21. LOL .. now we have something in common. As you know, I always use pictures to tell the story in my post, probably with a short write up and finished it with my signature picture food. I'm not good t writing thus posting pictures is a better idea as well as most bloggers are like me, they are lazy to read a long post with words all around.

I guess most of the bloggers let the pictures do the talking, especially blogs by young ladies who simply posted their beautiful photos of themselves in their blog.

You are probably shopping for a new Iphone casing and came across one afffordable and good one with thin casing, with a variety of colours. The offer looks good, got free shipping too and at RM59 with a thin casing, it probably sounds a great offer. You seems taking the offer!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Picture no.2
You are probably zooming or clicking on the detail page and check out the specs. It tells the details of the casing, the diameters, edges, side and back designs.
And, the picture continue to tempt you to buy at RM59 with all these fabulous features and specs!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Picture no.3

You could have bought it and got two such casings with different colors and starting showing off on FB...hahhhhaaa... and spend a whopping RM120 on both. Sadly, it's not like what you see on the website and got an ugly yellowish casing as well as a black. Thou starting to regret...muahahahahaha...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Picture no. 4

Feeling lousy, you started to search for similar casing and damn it, they are selling at 2.60 RMB only! Ouch! Darn .... F*** .... WTH ... Should have do more shopping before buying. Anyway, can't do anything already, just be careful next time and be more patience. Muahahahahaha...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Picture no. 5

You compared the cost and found out the two cases you bought is equivalent to two boxes of cases that can be buy from the other website.

Alternatively, after using the casing for a few days, you realised it's quite good and start ordering two boxes of it with different colors and maybe can do some business with others to recoup back the cost of the first buy. *evil grin*

    ReplyDelete
  27. In the end, you ended with many cases which probably assist in your fashion needs. Different color case for different shirt color! :)

    ReplyDelete
  28. These days punya phone casing all cantik cantik belaka one... Latest one I see is with the selfie stick one, indeed very creative!

Last time, may be just plain color casing, then with cartoons, then those bling bling diamonds, then with shimmering powders and liquids and even can DIY the designs. Really salute those people, got so many nice ideas.

I am not a casing person, I mean one casing I can use a long time... Unless the casing spoil, or when I change phone. These days I buy bumper casing, cause safer and more secure, since my son tends to throw my phone :'( So no use to buy expensive or nice casing, waste money only.

So you got so many casing... What you do with them? Change them regularly? Or just keep them?

He is a genius and know almost everything and anything about the latest technology..he know where to find the most effiecient cab service just by tuk tuk his phone...he knowns where to get the best buffet deals in town though the food not necessary up to the stand. Oh boy...he have a very high standard on everything. A perfectionist. Anyone wants a job done properly and efficiently will look for him. His business blooming till fly here and there.

But one day he tuk tuk his iPhone 6 too much till poked a hole in his current iPhone case. Hence he have to hunt for a new iPhone 6 case lo. WHere to hunt leh? Pasar malam? Tak main la since pasar malam punya harga Barang Naik liao. One iPhone case already cost RM50 plus lor in the pasar malam.

Of course la he very clever. He went and find in the spider web la...opps..I mean the World Wide Web. A search in the world Wide Web give many returns to the keywords that he typed in.

Of of which is as per photo number 1. Under the sponsor post in Facebook, he found that there is a company that is selling Super Thin iPhone 6/6s caseFor just RM55 only wor...plus they throw in FREE shipping leh. Very attractive offer leh as it said that the case will make the iPhone looks amazing... hmmm..without any case, the iphone memang already stand out liao la.... famous by brand mah.

Anyway, after clicking the ads...this guy SK still not satisfied. Of course la...can only see online aje. If order...later the barang and quality not up to expectation leh. Like that better go Pasar Malam and buy . There at least can see the quality leh and maybe can bargain leh.

    2. Okay...he went and search some more in the world wide web... his spider web net casted and caught another link by Facelook as per photo nember (got face got look...no face no look) ... Oh my kucing....! This seller is selling more expensive leh..Higher than the previous seller by RM4. Wei...tambah RM2 can buy the poslaju prepaid envelope liao la. RM4 wor...can buy 1 packet of nasi lemak liao lo.

He was horrified. why all the iphone case so darn expensive leh? Is it the vendor thinks that those who can afford iPhone 6 can certainly afford to throw away RM50 just like that?

Now he kinda panic liao...what the coconut is this? inflation?

Then he search the net again lo...dig dig dig...and he found durian runtuh. Opss...forgot...he doesn;t eat durian...okay la..what fruit he likes to eat ah? Dunno...but think in his blog he got show before pomelo fruit that be bought from his ipoh trip and he ate that with overnight oat kan..maybe he likes pomelo la.

Okay...he found Pomelo runtuh. Now he very very super duper pleased with himself. all his hardwork of digging the world wide web has not been wasted.

one is cool black...looks amazing like the cool guys in the Men in Black. Or maybe James Bond . This he would use when he is meeting customer so that he can potray a cool and efficient look.

In the evening when he is hanging out with his friends, he would change...or rather his iPhone 6 will change into a funky yellow minion look. And maybe sub-consciously support his favourite yellow team? Maybe his school days his sport house is yellow? Oh well...we won't know. unless he chooses to reveal it.

If not mistaken it is a website from China as got it for 2.60each and renminbi some more. Errr...that is how many RM ah..RM1.70-RM1.80?

Oh my kucing.... RM59 vs RM1.80.. how many percent profit ah assuming the other two company got their stocks from the website in China?

wah lau eh....that amount of money he could get two cases...or two boxes of iphone 6 cover lo. And that was what he did. He bought two cases of the iPhone 6 covers. and now he is selling it for RM30 each to whoever who wanna buy. So for those of you who are interested to get a good iphone6 case...(of course the quality is good as it's hand picked by SK wor) ..please contact the blog owner.
