Online Shopping : Online Shop-king
Online Shopping, Online Shop-King

i once used to be a "brand slave" but now brands are nothing to me as i only consider what's worth for money (a better way to say i am thrifty, hehe!!).. the thing is, if your $5 clothes looks like $500 on you, you win hands down compare to those who wear $500 but look like $5!! of course i knew i can't qualify to be the former, but at least i cannot let myself be the latter, haha!! :p

therefore, i am now quite gungho about online shopping (almost an online shopking, haha!!), not premiere ones but those more "grassroots" like Loopon, Radada and Sanora.. no (or just OEM) brands, no retail and marketing costs, no frills exchange and return, hence cheaper in price and better in value!! lately i even got hooked to Baobao (a huge China online shopping website) after a friend recommended it to me, i can spend one whole day browsing thousands of goods and comparing prices offered by various sellers (sin, sin!!).. what's best, i get the same thing i previously bought from the local sites at less than half the price even with international shipping charges.. now i think probably the local resellers also source for their goods there and make profits.. of course, i always hold on to the basic principles when it comes to online shopping - be cautious on fakes (if buying branded stuffs) and set an upper limit on how much you may spend.. be a smart shopper!! :)

NOTE: all brand names above are intentionally tweaked a little (as i am not advertising for them) but I believe the intelligent you could figure them out easily :p

  1. I like online shopping, but got to see what I want to buy la, if the electronic device I must go to shop to buy, I need to touch the real thing then I only dare to buy... If online one I've seen a lot of fail examples from my sister!

    1. She likes to online shopping as well, especially taobao (I guess also makes why alibaba can earn so much during November 11) Anyway because with the same type of materials we can get cheaper there, then why don't we buy from there, right? She bought outdoor table and chairs, luggage bag and lots of little some some...But of coz the branded one has to buy at store la, got the serial number or what registration number de...and it can last longer actually, the fake one it won't last very long and after used few times have to throw away already...

    2. I used to think we need to buy electrical items from the shops but my wife was so brave and scary! She bought sewing machines online and also dared to order the Kenwood Cake mixer that costs over RM1500 from websites! I would shake and sweat to buy such costly items online. So far so good, her cake mixer has been very good and comes with warranty.

I wished I could read chinese otherwise I would be hooked to Taobao too! I heard so much about their interesting and cheap products. Now SK Thambee is also the aunty shopper there but kept his silence until today!! Adoi! Kamala is screaming that you didn't buy her anything. She is still wearing old torn sarees to milk you cows Thambee!!!

    3. Agree with Sheta, as much as I love shopping online, it also depends what kinda stuff I am buying. Clothes, accessories, bags, toys still ok, but stuff like food, shoes, bottoms, devices, these I will prefer to see and touch then only buy.
Sometimes really scare to receive 'fail examples' like what Sheta mentioned... Even worse if that website doesn't provide return system, so it'll be a waste la! I also kena many times liao, but still so addictive to shopping online xD xD

    4. TM ~ Hahaha, I guess sewing machine is still okay maybe, like this electronic devices, such as camera, phone or something better don't buy from there, don't know...I've a few bad experience on that and also I saw from news also, a lady she bought iPhone 4 from website, then what she got was 4 real apples..(muahahahaha~~~)

Hayley ~ Yah lo, clothes if too small I can give my sister to wear then if too big then just donate, and usually it won't cost that much especially bought it from Taobao... Accessories I've tried before, umm, the quality ya...is worst than I expected, it materials change color after two three times wear...Bags some are good some are bad, I bought one I only used once then donate it already, because the quality has arrived the level that I really can't acceptable already...Toys ya, so far I saw my youngest nephew one are not bad la!

For you home stay mom who has no time to go out one, for sure likes the online shopping, save time and easy mah, right??

    5. You have just shared some real stories which happened to some shoppers who were less lucky. I guess we need to depend on luck sometimes like gambling to buy online. Long ago before all this online shopping was made available, people were excited to buy those "SEEN ON TV" products that often ran on late midnight TV slots which were cheap. The viewers could see the products repeated over & over to get brainwashed. Finally they bought and still screamed when the real products arrived ~ not to their expectations!! The risks are still there no matter how many times they watched the TV.

Now online shopping is like watching non-moving catalogue photos with just few words of description. The risks are higher now with much lower than TV priced items. Like you say, cannot wear >>> Just donate and no merits wasted. New merits gained for the donors!!

    6. Haha yea, shopping online really save me a lot of time, and I realize things sold online are much more appealing and more choices.
Yala, quality, we cannot ask for more, since it's already cheap ma!
Toys are the most worth one I think, since kids play a few times only, so if rosak after a few plays also never mind la, 值得了!xD

    7. The advertisements of coz always sell their best points, honestly even the product is not that good, they also can brain wash like until the public really believe it or they use some trick to attract the customer then put very small font to clarify this and that, if the consumer really don't see it carefully, for sure that will get "con" by that...

    8. I don't do much online shopping. So far, I only buy Melaleuca products online as the system is rather systematic. And it's efficient too.

    11. I agree with sheta. If electronic gadget better buy from the shop coz can see the thing. I bought online before and kena fake one. So wasted the money. Too late to get a refund

      Delete
    12. wah letchumi so daring ah.... buy so big amount using online shop ah...what if the barang is fake one . difficult to get a refund rigjht? Some online shop not honest punya leh

hahaha...lucky tabao is chinese website or else i might get hooked liao. coz see so many friend s highlight about this website. Now even SK blog about it though using different name. You knwo me la....kiasu punya and easily addicted

    13. How you know kamala wearing torn saree? Maybe SK went and buy so many saree and silk for her online till one whole house are full liao leh.

I kena before online good that kena cheated . But then tak apa la...sometimes it depend on luck. and also have to depend on friend's recommendation on trustable site

But sometimes even trustable site also have to be carefu;l...like the ranada...they are just the agent of multi store. They cant control what their tenants selling. If the tenant sell bad or fake stuff Ranada gets bad name.

Usually i will see customers review on the tenants. if they say good then i will buy...even those also like lottery...depends on luck

  2. Oooo, today is about online shopping.. Wait, call me jakun.. What’s the meaning of “gungho”? Is it Cantonese or hokkien or mandarin? Sorry ahh, a bit jakun.. And I admit, recently, I only know what is “bo jio” and feeling “meh”.. Really jakun, hahahaha..

    1. Oh yes, I agree with you on the RM500 items but look like RM5.. Nowadays ahh, many things ger la.. Take baby clothes for example.. Baby clothes pun ada organic man !! This, I cannot accept la.. of coz, of coz, if parents are rich, and they are “pa ji pai”, ahem *sour grapes*, then of coz can buy organic this and organic that for the baby la.. Even organic clothes and diapers.. But seriously, organic diapers ?? Ermmm…. Sudah pakai, buang la, who cares organic or not..

    2. Sudah long time I don’t shop for brands already jor lor.. Ever since I got married and have kids, I don’t go out shopping jor.. Going out is only for grocery shopping and also taking the kids to playland, maybe having a quick meal.. But if want me to slow slow walk, buy clothes, very difficult.. Unless I take leave and go shopping, take my own sweet time..

      Delete
    3. So when I buy clothes online, I don’t buy branded ones liao.. Dresses and cardigans, no need branded kua.. Not that I’m rich, or working in a high position, have to be fashionable and wear high heels “kok kok kik kok”, rite.. I’m contented with my RM45 dress, RM19 cardigan and RM35 flats.. I still look like a young hot pretty momma, wakakakakaka.. Ok, sorry..

      Delete
    4. At one time, the internet selling a lot of Longc**mp bags, Coa** bags, I was also tempted geh that time whether or not to buy.. But like you said, scared buy fake ones liao, then how?

      Delete
    5. My principle very simple.. Branded ones leh, better buy from the shop.. Or if you have good friends going overseas or to the place that has the bags.. Then can tumpang to buy oone back for you.. If normal goods like normal dresses, cardigans, even small simple electronic items, then can go online la..

Recently I’m hooked on Groupon.. Groupon not bad, got reputation, I think can be trusted, and the things all can buy.. Especially hair care, food and dining, I think ok wor.. I’ve even purchased wallstickers, bowls, weighing scale, and many more from Groupon, I think ok wor..

      Delete
    6. Among so many shopping online sites, I would say that Groopon is the best in terms of reliability and speed. Every time I purchased something, it would be delivered by the next day! Other sites gave me stress to wait for up to a month!!! After that they would reply me that got no stock and blah blah blah. They would tell me something stupid deals that my money is credited and advised me to shop MORE using the credits I have!! HELL MAN!

      Delete
    7. I am contemplating shopping on Groupon after seeing Louiz's post on the wallstickers. I created an account but haven't bought anything yet.

    8. Princess Ribbon, I also don't know the meaning of gungho, haha, high 5! What I have in mind is that the pronunciation is like a Korean word :p
But I go Google it means something like enthusiastic.
Oh those leather brands you mentioned, yes memang lots of fake ones these days, can find at almost any shops, I think Petaling Street a lot, right? I remember getting a Chan*l bag from there few years ago, haha!
So if really wanna buy branded stuff, I will say go to the real shop and buy, those online ones may sell at a lower price but cannot guarantee the material, since you already plan to buy a branded bag, sure expect to spend a lot already, so why save?

      Delete
    9. Hayley, these days only foreign tourists would shop at Petaling Street as they enjoy the heat and sweats there!! Adoi.

The locals would go to Times Square for cooler ambiance and hassle free fixed prices! Yes mostly better quality & fake brands are sold there too. Fake brands also have different grades as we all know.

      Delete
    10. Oh really? I din't know that, but then true also, since Petaling Street is like an old tourist place in KL, sure attracts tourists... Haha and like you said, they enjoy the heat there! xD

Long time never been to Times Square! Also Sg Wang! Hardly go KL area, mostly at PJ area only.

      Delete
    11. TM ~ I guess the Petaling Street is for them so called the "China Town" as I saw from Mas, they did a very "kua zheong" advertisement saying that, after you landed in Malaysia, places must go is Petaling Street!

But last time when I was in secondary school, I always go Petaling Street one leh, not buying anything but just jalan jalan, but mostly go Popular la, then take bus back, very convenient!!

    12. I rather go window shopping than shopping online. I get to see the real thing. Furthermore, I don't mind spending my time browsing the products sold at the emporium.

      Delete
    13. Same here also, but window shopping I don't have time for that ya, if can I think what I want to buy first then go there can just aim to what am I looking for instead, guess that would safe time a bit...coz if I go without any planing, I might spend whole day there without getting anything, hehe!!

    14. gungho means in malay "Beria-ria"(alamak...ejaan betul or not. Like very kan cheong and active la.....like take an active part. Gungho think it is american slang la. Not so sure coz read that word in books before

hahaha gimme 5...ya since have kid manyak susah wanna go clothing shopping. shop online easy but then only problem is the clothing size may not ngum. But hentam la. Not ngum and can pass to friend gua if they dont mind.

Now feeling betul betul auntie...yesterday went to jaya one and they have clothing sale. saw many girl grabbing. But i like no feeling geh...LOL....

    15. Groupon also cannot be trusted 100%. Once i bought a beauty voucher from groupon. KNS! The said beauty saloon damn cilaka. Not the fault of groupon ah. It's that particular beauty saloon punya fault.

Tried many times to make appointment they say full...then say electrician coing to fuix power la thisn and that. Got fed up . Hang up the call and asked hubby tocall them up pretend as new paying customer...they say got vacancy for appointment. Kena my hubby kns them kau kau.

But one thing good about groupon...if we not happy and we lodge a complain..they will investigate and take action on the vendor.

    1. I have browsed the Singapore's local sites and the items are very interesting and often different. I guess it has something to do with lifestyle trends in the republic. They won't wanna buy our local advertised as we often have inferior stuffs that were often off season products to clear stock and save their warehousing problems.

    2. Got different meh? Looks the same to me....muahahahahaha.....
The difference is some products were not sold in Malaysia can be find in SG and vice-versa.

  4. Good Morning Bloggers and Shopping Queens!

This is a new trend of smart shopping to save all your valuable time and money! Can shop for anything by just a click of your mouse from home or office. In fact our country is quite slow compared to the West. It took me a while to catch the bug and got addicted at one time. I didn't buy much for myself ended up buying gifts for others and necessities for my wife.

It saved all the hassle of traffic jams, petrol and time to park & walk to search for a small gift. The online products tend to offer the popular and useful ones that we need.

    1. True, almost hassle free! But of course there are pros and cons of shopping online also la!
My case I am worry to receive items which are not like what I seen in the photos, or that the seller is not proactive, need me to chase and keep on asking about the status.

But of course, so far, I am pretty satisfied with my online shopping experience la... That's why I will keep shopping online, muahaha!

    2. I agree that some could test our patience and I had to wait for a month for ordering a cheap & branded handbag! After that they would tell me no stock rubbish. It happened twice! I have made them history.

You would definitely have quality time now to slowly browse and make good purchases. As for me, I am a very impulsive and quick buyer as my eyes could visualise that my wifey would look okay and boleh lah!!! CLICKED & BOUGHT!!!

      Delete
    3. I hate waiting for the delivery of the goods. Some companies always delay and you have to keep checking the status. It can be very frustrating too.

      Delete
    4. Nobody likes to wait and yet everyone here on earth seems to be waiting everyday. Parents wait for their babies to come out. After that wait for him to walk and call Mama Papa. After that wait for them to graduate and wait for them to get married. After that wait to carry their first grandchild! After that get old and fall sick....still wait for ourselves to die pulak... After die, our soul wanna wait for heavens to come carry us away. Aha! Will that happen?

I think SK knows that I have slightly reversed brains and try not to wait for this and that. I get myself prepared and ready in whatever way. I told SK that one should even know how to recite prayers to be ferried away if we die in disasters or plane crashes or lost without trace.

      Just live in the PRESENT!!

      Delete
    5. ChrisAu, me too! If goods are being delayed at least be honest to inform the customers, and try find alternative like refund or anything... I really hate those people who ignore our messages, I see message being delivered and read already but they just don't bother to reply!! Kek sei!

    6. When you shop online, there is always a risk. You might not get what you actually want. Once my girl shopped a dress online thinking that M was her size. But it arrived with a loose dress.

    7. Truew what you said. Me , i also shop online to avoid traffic jam and hunting. Shopping online is fast and easy. Sometimes when friend's birthday I would just browse and buy online and have it sent to them. I know la some will say not sincere but then to me not la. Must find the perfect gift mah. SOemtimes walk and walk can be come tired and will end up cincai tembak and buy any gift instead of really find the things that sure the friend

    8. Yea nobody wants or like to wait for things but what to do. At least some online shop we can track the progress like when is the delivery date and whether the courier service are out to deliver our stuff./ Like the Photobook Malaysia. They have very good tracking system.

  5. Actually until today I don't understand why you (and some of the rest) would want to tweak or hide the brand names. I guess maybe most of you have blogged long enough to know the cons of doing it, or that your blogs are really very famous and every mention is worth a lot! XD

I actually need to spend a bit of time to interpret the real names. I'm that stupid hahaha! If you remember, I bought a belt, a wallet and a pair of shoes from Sanora. The belt and shoes broke slightly more than one month after use, now only the wallet is still intact and seems to be going soon. I don't think I will shop here anymore, I'm too rough for these goods >.<

    2. Muahahahaha!!! Your belt snapped and you should blame your late night suppers! These days I have phobia to buy PVC or Suede shoes and belts. They have very short lifespan. I had the very most embarrassing time in Singapore when I bought a stupid shiny black shoes which my wife pointed out that dead male corpse wore them!! Gah!... I bought this PVC shoes because the leather ones don't make them so shiny like mirror. I bought it in a hurry from a no brand shop in Kuala Lumpur and arrived very early at the Conrad Hotel in Singapore where I sashayed in with my matching outfit to attend a glam wedding.

Kaneeneh! I bent down to squat and the soles ripped with the PVC skin cracked suddenly!! I almost fainted and screamed at my shoes that exploded. I had to tip toe out and got a lift to the nearest shop to buy another PVC shoes as the leather ones sold in Sing Dollars almost hit RM1000!!! Gross!!

Much later, I realised the unique shiny shoe must be a very old stock like 2-5 years as no one would buy such shoes to wear. You can often see such shoes being worn by the dancers of the K-Pop on stage.

I never dare to buy shoes online as we can never tell the width that precisely fits our elephant feet.

      Delete
    3. As for shoes, it's always advisable to buy from the store. You get to try it if it fits. Something online display looks good but in actual fact, it looks horrible on our feet.

    4. I haven't had late night suppers for quite some time already lah wei! But I'm still fat, I will acknowledge that! :(

The shoes fit nice actually, actually when I buy shoes, I don't care if it looks awesome on my feet, I only care about comfort. But I will go back to buying from the store now to look at the quality myself.

    2. Oh My Goodness! I cannot believe that Phong Hong only shopped from MPH and Amazon!! I thought all ladies love to browse the LaaZadaa and Groopons online! I bought all my wife's dresses online and never had any mistakes or problems so far. Those websites have nice catalogues for ladies dresses and wares but not for men! Men's clothings are so boring la, only shirt, shorts and pants! Why can't we wear skirts, blouse and garters too? Muahahaha

    5. Almost every quarter, I spend RM500 just to buy my facial products from AMAZON. Only this skincare product suits me, i have no choice to bear with this high shipping cost and currency exchange loss. I bought the skincare from ACNE.org in US.

    6. If the products suit you and you can only get them from the online store, then it should be fine. You wouldn't want to travel everywhere to find the right products.

    7. MPH online is very good. RM80 and above can get free delivery for klang valley.

Lazada not bad la but have to be careful of its vendors. have to see buyers opinion of the products. Sometimes i see same products one of the vendor selling RM10 ...and another selling RM100. Not sure how....maybe the RM10 is fake one kot?

  7. For clothes, I am not confident about buying online. I prefer to go to the shop to see the actual garment and to try it on. Some clothes look good on the display but don't look good on me.

    2. I had some bad experience to order men's clothes from Zelora! Their given sizes in L, XL and XXL were often misleading till I always got a size too small. I have phobia to buy them for myself now and agree with you that I need to try them at shops for safety as the whole problem is mine for having a round figure!! LOL

As for my wife, she is so petite now that the ladies clothes online always had just one size that often fitted her. I always told her that if anyone ever criticized her dressings, just push the blame to me. So far so good, as she received compliments but she never told anyone who shopped online for her or rather who is the fashion guru! Wakakakaka

My friend who was a Fashion Advisor in Italy pointed out that sissy men tend to be better groomers for ladies in hair dressing and fashion designing as they are not biased as they don't wear the female clothes. They tend to design what suits the ladies society today.

      Delete
    3. I read one of your wifey's old post about how she learnt fashion from you. That must be one of your many talents!

    4. Sometimes choosing sizes is very headache too, but buying free-size clothes is also not so good wo~ Haih, dilemma la!
Their size chart is just for reference, some I see very kua cheong one, like size S can fit a person who is 70kg. I was like, really? 70kg?? That's like not making sense ma! So if possible, ask the seller properly, nowadays we can either PM them or some website provide live chat, must seek for their opinions.
Anyway, I think at the end of the day, it also depends on luck la! If lucky, we get the things we expected, else, hur hur hur....

      Delete
    5. LOL Hayley! I know what you just shared as I had some headaches too esp I am a man, shopping for my wife! She often wondered how I could chose and purchase without any problem without even consulting her. She didn't know how much sweats and hair loss I encountered too! Now I am smarter and could even tell from photos that the materials are stretchable to be able to estimate that it could fit fatter bodies. Honestly, I got a lot of tips from watching the Korean TV dramas to know what's in fashion now in overseas and how to match the handbag colours with the dresses as all the movie sets have to hire well paid costume designers! Very often I saw similar clothes worn by the KBS actress being faked and sold cheaply online. They would show the inset photo of the actress wearing identical dress!

    1. The people are paying high prices through their noses for the brand names only. They feel the sense of security and confidence to be seen carrying the labels of opulence! Just like Badak Rosmama who needs to carry the RM300K designer handbag!!! Walau eh! Now she is hot soup instead!

I know this hi-fi lady who runs a boutique along the main road in Bangsar! I saw the cheapest ladies blouse is over RM400 to RM4000!!! Her business is very good!! ~Faints~

  9. And it's not just branded clothes but also clothes from boutiques which we need to be careful. Some of these clothes are sourced from Thailand and are dirt cheap. One blouse which cost RM15.00 is sold for RM90.00. Even if they put it on sale at 50% discount, they still make a good profit.

I always wished to have this jet setting lifestyle after seeing a friend who flies to Guangzhou every month to order the ready to wear clothes and fix her label on them to supply to ISSETANN and JUSTCO. My admiration was backfired when her marriage collapsed and I got tangled inside the loan shark mess to bail her out. I have blogged about this sad episode before and realised she was not doing a stable business that way!

After that I thought, ok never mind, let me go and check out the group, if it's very 废 and useless, then I will just exit the group. All the items sold are very interesting and most importantly, they are so much cheaper (prices already include postage) compare to what I see in boutiques! Of course quality is another matter la but so far still acceptable to me. The only downside is, most items are pre order so have to wait at least 2 weeks for the goods to arrive at my place. I am a very impatient person, when I see something I like, I will want to own it right away (like cash and carry la).
But erm what to do? Since the price is so cheap already I can't ask for more la right? So just have to try to be patient and wait for the goods to arrive.

Actually so many competitors inside la, some selling similar things, but price may vary a bit. Not easy to do business like this.. But business like this sure will have market all the time la, all woman stuff ma, woman is the ultimate shopper, can shop everyday one, regardless of got reason to buy or not, or price, hehehe!

      Delete
    2. Actually I wonder how can they sell so cheap? I mean how much can they earn? For example one blouse only like RM 1x, including postage some more! I guess must be they buy/order in bulk like wholesale so they get a cheaper price... I once heard from a friend who is interested in business like this, she got lobang from China/Thailand and those stuff are very very cheap only... Just that for the first time she has to go there and see and pick for herself la, worry that the merchant is not honest ma!

    2. I do love branded stuffs very much and would spend time admiring them at the huge boutique's windows! I remember seeing the LV displays every morning and night during my stay in Osaka as our hotel was right behind it. That was only window shopping and I could never afford them. The Japanese folks are so ahead in fashion that they don't even sell dated and off season stuffs.

Honestly, I have very different views on the branded goods or names as my degree is in advertising and am still working in this line since Day 01. Sadly, our job is to help some manufacturers & developers to bullshit and just milk customer's money. It is not a sin but just part and parcel of lives. Even some men had to bullshit & promise the moon when proposing to their girlfriends in order to marry her. After kahwin, another story lah.

So I could come to this conclusion that certain people bought the branded stuffs or properties to buy confidence and dreams! There is no doubt that their products often used high quality materials with warranty and exclusive certificates of ownership! Some brands in KL even send their selected sweet talking sales persons to your house with the catalogue and samples to make purchases! After taking your pick, the leng zhais would deliver to your door step. I am not kidding!!!

As for properties, now you can book and even buy online if you dare! Have you ever wondered how people could buy properties that cost over millions of dollars even before it was being built? The credits go to the advertising that helped to convince the buyers to buy the dreams and part with their money! Sometimes i could just laugh at the whole thing. Everything in life is just an illusion. Wake up man!

I also love admiring at branded stuff oversea, even if just go inside take a stroll then come out I also happy, haha! No money to buy ma, so just 'buy with our eyes' lo! Plus the designs might be special, something we cannot find here.

Actually nowadays there're so many websites which offer great deals, like the BaoBao you mentioned (if that's the one I guess la... famous China website), really, can spend one whole day browsing at the website, cause there are just so many interesting and cheap stuff to buy! From head to toe, for female and male, right? Some are even very weird stuff we can't find here. But I tell you once you buy from it, sure got second time and so on, and it's super addictive! That's why I have stopped buying from it, if not sure bankrupt one! Like you got working and no commitment yet, ok la... Like me, no income, cannot shop from it too often, else my hubby sure bising one :p
I bought one time only and quite satisfied with what I chose, got toys for Aden, and clothes for myself. Quality wise, okok la, can't expect too much.
Only downside is, the postage fees is quite expensive, macam more expensive than the goods itself. Also, have to wait so long for the goods to arrive.. Everyday like go online check the status, again, I am a very impatient person, ekekeke!

I did pick up his traits to camouflage and twist the names sometimes to prevent legal actions like that Happy Touch & Go blogger who shared the troubles he got for posting the restaurants he disliked with bad reviews. He got warnings from not just one but few legal teams to remove his comments!

Aahh...got one more famous case that kena 2 Sibu born bloggers! One kena criticized and the other kena legal suit in court!! Ask your god ma if you wanna know who.

    2. Ahaha, 'camouflage' the brand names is ok, like you said, to avoid any legal issues, it just that we the readers have to guess lo! Sometimes we don't really understand SK ma! Hehehe! We are not the worm in his stomach :p :p

    3. Yes, it can be addictive. I know what you mean, I am also like that, if I like that website, especially if their quality and service is good, I will keep browsing and checking the website for any new arrivals and updates. That's where my money goes... hohoho!

  35. Anyway, one good thing about online shopping is you can get the stuffs you wanted which is sold out at the malls. For example, I was interested in Germany's World Cup winnning Adidas jersey which has an emblem on it stating World Cup Champions 2014. It was sold out everywhere at the malls but available at the Adidas site.

    1. My friend was like you. He was frantic and mad that his favourite football jersey was sold out until he found at the website which was obviously cheaper with no overhead drills. When the package arrived, he opened and was happy to the moon! He was so proud and wore it to parade to show off to other MU rivals who were quick to point out it was so cleverly faked that no one could tell.

Now it has become a cushion cover in his house after sewing all the corners and stuffed with cotton fillings.

Of course you bought it from Adidas site, so you will be safe.

  37. Yannie also shops online like others. I buy skin care regularly from Amazon every quarter. I can't discontinue this product, as it is my skin savior. Besides, Yannie too buys clothes, pants, shoes, bags, belts, and swimwear online too. Of course I did encounter some bad experiences like size is not fit me and quality issue as well. But, I can deny that shopping online is so addictive and time saving. Anyway, I actually try to cut down on shopping, be it online or not. I have too many of everything, except the money, So I better save money. Hehehe!

    2. Like what SK said is correct, we must be a smart shopper, buy only when you need it and it worth the price you pay. Don't be impulsive when buying things. I am only of the impulsive shopper, I always feel regret after buying things. I hate that kind of feeling la!

    3. That is why I have too many clothes, too many pants, too many bags, too many shoes, too many unnecessary things that I bought impulsive. I must learn to shop smarter . Therefore I should cut down in online shopping.

  42. Taking about brandah...Hmmm ....touch wood....am not a brand slave . probably coz from young till old nenek liao now, my family does not have much money. Money are better spend at buying necessity instead of going for hype brand for clothing , cosmetic and what not.

Think the only time my family buys branded goods are when buying electrical goods. Coz those type ...usualy cost a lot ....like fridge....televesion..aircond.......those really a big sum to pay out for small salary earner. So to be safe better buy branded type. Like last time the brand National......well....the fridge my mom buy more than 20 years ago is still working...as compared to the newer fridge that will have problem in few years. Sayang to throw away . Now let tenant use.

Sorry la.....jangan marah coz memang aunty here lo. If pasal baju ...clothing and jewellery. Even the make shoe guy who ah....the man from Penang leh....Jimmy choo...says first impression is important. But for Mamarazzi...she thinks hentam aje la. as long as the baju tutup aurat and looks good on her...then even baju from Pasar malam will do la. No need to buy hundred of RM baju to wear.

  43. Hahaha.. I bising so much about branded things....ut then haiz....when first baby....I also got kiasu buy branded things for him. Maklumlah....so many anxiety about baby leh. first time .

Buy anakku baju and poducts ...then buy pureen product....all these are kira as well know brand la. But usually borong from warehouse sale.

Guess when comes to baby...logic is being thrown to the air.

  44. true what you have said ...some can wear RM500 baju but looks like ciplak RM5 baju.

Guess have to see what suit each person la. I have saw some people wear no brand cloth but looks like a million dollar man leh

  45. Online shopping really fun leh...click click and then the barang will arrive on your door step.

But but but....have to see la....so many cases leh...

people buy buy buy and got addicted. True story......got friend who was new to online shopping...buying new house, Wanna decorate the house. She went browse online . Wah so many things wanna buy and things looks o good online.

click and click buy and buy. Her husband terkejut when see all the things that she bought, Sad thing is some of the things not suitable for the house. Think they had a big fight about that.

End up have to sell off some of the stuff in FB. Duno whether got back the value that she paid for it or not la. ''

  46. Eh Bao Bao or Tabao ah? I seems to heard of this before from a mommies group seems everyone are buying from there. Heard it's very cheap wor. But they say only in mandarin ...so i tarak ask for the website url la coz you know me banana la

You better keep tab of your Baobao accout closely coz heard from a friend that her friend's Baobao account kena hacked and RM300+ worth of barang redirected to another address. Dont kknow what is the end of the story. . Whether can claim back or not

    ReplyDelete
  47. if that Baobao site sells barang so cheap of course people will come buy and resell online or to friends.

Like the BBW la. SO many people go borong the books and the resells online at higher price. Got reseller asked me to blog about they website but I dare not la.

Yes,...buy online also dangerous especially in the case of fakes. So many fakes barang

Recently an ex-classmate phone and battery kena stolen when his car was broken into in Kota Damandara. Xiao Mi. Then saw online on local company is selling the battery. So he went and order la. after waiting for two weeks and numerous calls to that store. ...he finally for the battery....fake punya. when contacted the store...the store said that battery is "almost same as original". Betul betul KNS lo........End up he had to fork out money to buy from the Xiao Mi site,

  48. It is easy to say set upper limit and stuffs like that but when comes to shopping ....logic and brain gone to tong sampah la sometimes. When I browse page by page online then search the key word....see see...adui...then saw other stuff cheap pulak. How ah? WIll loose control punya leh. And some more some of those online website sell barang will give offer...buy one free one...or maybe buy above RMxxx then will get RMXX diescount vouchers or just need to top up a few ringgits then will get certain things ...temptation everywhere.
