    2. Ya I agree, very high-end design, got time capsule somemore, just the word time capsule already attracts my attention! And it's simple and straight forward, haha, saya suka!
      Salute SK's creativity!

    3. Hello Sheta,

Today the interactive part like you said is really unique. It appears line by line without us needing to click them individually. hahaha, this SK is really creative, can think of so many different types of layouts and design UI to entertain us. He even uses the word time capsule to describe this unique UI.

    4. Hello Hayley,

I agree with you, SK is so creative! He should be working in the advert industry. :)

    5. i guess everyone is already bored with the rather standardized layout of the travelogue, so something new could probably excite a little huh?? hehehe.. but then i think same applies to too many interactive elements, though seems interesting in the beginning, but later sure people will get bored about it one day.. things are always impermanent i believe :p

  2. Good morning dear bloggers, and happy Friday! Yay!

Wait, did I read or click wrongly? Or maybe I miss out some words or instructions or points..

I like your format this time wor.. Wah, macam-macam.. Now got "scriptease", I love it.. Sekali all come out, no need click and read..
Confession: If click, sometimes if the news not juicy, not syiok pulak.. But if no click, like very bad, coz nampak macam wana skip everything only, kan?

    2. This scriptease is really good wor.. I very like wor.. Have you done it before? Coz you mention "... go back to my scripteasing, my favourite"... Means pernah buat? Maybe I forgotten kua.. But like Sheta said, this is so cool cool cool..

    3. But frankly, yeah, day8 has nothing much to write about, coz mostly is rushing to the airport (coz you got 2 flights to catch, yes?), then grabbing something fast to eat, and by the time you touched down, already soooooo late, takkan wana snap pictures at 4am in the morning meh, kan.. Sure wana zzzzz and hit the sack jor..

    4. You mentioned beef rice for breakfast, but you didn't mention what lunch and supper wor.. So what lunch you had jek? Lunch at the airport - must be some kinda fast food.. I thought there would be pictures button for me to click at the side there, but eh, no wor.. No pictures pun...

    10. Princess, why tit ngan keng? Haha! Yala don't doubt, that's all about today's post, I mean good also la, since it's Friday, no need to stress ourselves, something simple and straight forward for us~

      Delete
    11. Agreed with Hayley. Princess, post short good mah ... no need to stress. It's weekend, time to wind down. Give SK break too to spend time with FF aka Aden .... opps... hehehe

      Delete
    12. I agree with everyone here that SK is so creative here but I like his long, long posts also. Did SK just add the photo for the lunch at the Nagoya airport? How come Princess Ribbon says no photo for lunch?

    14. since everyone likes short posts, then i also don't need to write so much lor.. instead of spending couple of days to write one detailed travelogue, might as well just spend a couple of hours to write a post like this one.. haha!! :D

      Delete
    3. Hehe, may be Mamarazzi just woke up so din't read carefully yet! xD

      Delete
    4. i am not so cruel that i need you all to click on each and every one of those lah.. just one click to show all~~ :D

      Delete
  6. i am mistaken....no clicking ya....eh very pandai with the time thingy leh.....but hor....the strip tease can make it move slower or not? too fast la...tarak umph leh :p

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ah, now Mamarazzi realized no need to click one by one but that the capsules will reveal themselves one by one, hour by hour. I also cannot read fast fast so have to replay a few times and click on the photos a few times because the photos also won't stay there for long, sekejap disappear, the photos are so shy, show a while then disappear and we gotta click on the photo link again.

      Delete
    2. just one click to show everything automatically lah.. and why Mun you need to replay?? that's no need to do so, the animation thing is just a presentation, you see everything once the animation finished running..

      Delete
    3. Yes, I see all the words when the animation finished running but for the photo links beside the words, after I click it, the photo will show for less than 1 minute and it will close again/disappear again and I will need to click the photo link again because 1 minute is not enough for me to study the photos leh. This comment is left in this old post so will SK be reading this? ;p

    1. Not that long lah. 5 hours ok lah. This must be the closest flight available or SK has factored in the time for possible delays for the flight from Hokkaido to Nagoya.

    2. haha, really had a lot of time in the airport doing last minute shopping.. and then of course all hand carry already lah, if shopping inside airport they don't care that much one..

      Delete
    4. yeah, the (+1) means the next day already, next time if you see this in your flight tickets then you'd understand lor.. errr, we actually walked past the night before and know this shop opens 24 hours, so already planned to had our early breakfast there..

  13. It really seems a long and tired day for you on the trip back. You have to transit from one flight to another before taking the proper flight back to kl. And it seems a 5 hour journey !! I am sure you have some withdrawal symptoms when back home. Heart still in sapporo though the body is back. Lol

    15. Hello everyone,

The trip back is really so long after adding in the waiting time from flight 1 to flight 2. I am like TM, will not eat supper but go home directly to sleep, I don't think will have energy to unpack too, unlike Hayley.

Hahaha, now that Yannie mentioned it, what time did SK takes his toilet breaks I wonder, during the flight or in the airport while waiting or early early before checking out?

      Delete
    16. yeah, no long paragraphs and buttons to show and and that, surely everyone likes the straight forward posts.. but then i find it hard to strike a balance lah.. write too brief then everyone complains how come so short no details.. when put in more details then everyone starts to complain i am being so long-winded.. in that case, better just do short posts or nothing at all lah, hahahaha~~

toilet breaks?? who ever would be interested to know?? even myself won't be able to remember and won't bother to write about those lah, hahahahaha!! :D

  18. Usually the last day of a trip is very 'long' and boring one, I encountered that a lot of times, also kinda rush, usually have to wake up earlier, to double check the packing of the luggage, then rush to airports, if need to transfer one, lagi lah mafan. Like your case I see a few airports in your last day, LOL!
Usually that's it la. For me, last day means no shopping one, unless at the airport, but what can you buy at the airport right? Probably just chocolates and perfumes, the rest like souvenirs all not worth buying la, very expensive, unless if you have forgotten to buy something for someone then no choice, die die also have to buy a bit.
Last day usually is getting up early, rush to the airport, linger around and board the plane. And most significant thing is the mix of feeling, happy cause can go to our home sweet home and smell our bed/pillow! Sad cause we are bidding farewell to the trip, and have to go back to reality become 'ku lei' again >.<

So indeed a very long and tiring day for you all! But glad to know that it was a great trip, at least despite the tiredness, you guys came back safe and your mind are loaded with lots of wonderful memorable memories!

Yes I have to be very honest, I am truly happy your Japan travelogue has come to an end! Erm don't misunderstand ar, I love to read your travelogue! Just that lately I am being very busy and no time to read each post thoroughly, I am very far behind at commenting actually, I was thinking if SK's travelogue still got a few more posts to go then I will be even at the back! Homeworks seems like cannot finish already! Not that I am concern about spamming and the number of ranking, I just don't wanna miss any single post of your interesting travelogue.

    1. Can get beef rice also ok la, since it was still so early, can find something to eat consider lucky liao. May be this kinda of restaurant is cater for tourists who needs to travel early like you all.

Those cat figurines at the Chubu Centrair are cute! From big to small, kawaii! If for me sure go and take photos with them, haha!

Opps, too bad the lunch at the airport is not good, you somemore use the word 'finally', haha! But thinking at the bright side, at least this was the only bad taste you guys had during the trip, while the rest were all nice!
But cannot demand for more la, usually food at the airport is no good one, and expensive some more leh!

But the time you arrived home is quite odd already, people almost wake up but you were just about to sleep, hehehe!

    2. Hello Hayley,

I am surprised to see you here so early after this has been posted because I know that you have been very busy lately. Good that you found the time to relax a bit and drop by to comment but also no need to stress lah, if really busy just drop a one liner here and I believe SK will be very happy too.

Yea, I got some times on my own yesterday so I quickly came comment lo, plus this post is short and straight forward so I no need to think so much and can comment right away already.

    4. yeah, indeed a very long day.. 22.5 hours, perhaps i should have dilly-dally for another 1.5 hours to make it up to a complete 24 hours, hahaha.. and that was why i wonder, if my trip is actually a 9-day of 8-day?? if travel agency, sure count it as 9 days already..

yeah yeah yeah.. i think it's a good news to everyone that this almost evergreen series of travelogue finally draws the curtain.. a two month long of torturing both myself and my readers, hahahaha!! maybe i should have split the posts across a 6 months period, then it won't turn out to be so bad, hehehehehehe~~ but the pro is of course, i do not have to scratch my head to think of what topic to write, straight away i just continue with my trip :p

  19. I am sure know how SK felt at 23:46. He started to miss Hokkaido at 23:46, miss the trip, miss the fun, miss the place and miss the food. Right, SK? Usually when I went for a trip, I started to miss the place i visited the moment I reached home.

I am not sure whether SK and the rest think the same.

I am really old already because I can't remember whether I miss the place I visited the moment I reached home for my last trip less than 6 months ago. All I remember is during the last few days overseas, I am too tired already and wish to be at home in my own bed.

    2. errrr, i guess was too tired to miss my trip also, and furthermore i think still in a holiday mood and have not really adjusted myself yet, haha!! having that said, sometimes we started to miss the holiday, but sometimes towards to end of our holiday, we kind of miss home too~~ :D

Yeah, I've experienced the pain of having nothing to eat for breakfast at early hours. Even Starbucks only open at 7AM..

    1. You mean in Japan? Last time I was there, we live near 24 hours eatery that serves this kind of beef rice too. Choose which meal and pay and get a ticket from the kiosk and the food will be served after that.

    2. not showing off, but if i still do like what i have been doing for the past 13 posts, everyone will just close the window within 2 seconds, haha!! but it's normal and i understand that people always started very excited and enthusiastic, but that won't last long.. :D

  25. I usually pack last minute and that makes me excited too.
After the trip, I usually do unpacking before I go to sleep.

  26. Hello SK,

Thank you for sharing in details for your Hokkaido trip. I like your long, long posts because I read them in order to know how to plan for my trip if ever I decide to go to visit Hokkaido so I feel no pressure wanting to faster finish reading the posts so that I can start to comment. I just read at my leisure and I am sure I will reread them again when the time is here for me to plan my trip.

  27. Your time capsule says Beef noodles but the caption of the photo says beef rice. No worries, I guess some of you ate noodles and some ate rice. Is the beef rice like those served by Yoshinoya (used to be here but no more now).

    1. ooopss!! thanks for pointing that out, it was actually beef rice (gyudon), no idea why i typed noodles.. already corrected, haha!!

  28. I also like to go to the airport early and when planning, I will also leave a large window before flight 1 arrival and flight 2 departure for connecting flights. So 5 hours of waiting is not an issue for me, in fact I like it.

Thanks for letting us know about the city that produces the most cat figurines. Can go there if like to buy and see different cat figurines - Fortune Cat beckoning Wealth figurines must be the most popular ones.

What mode of transport - train (still running at that time?), bus or taxi or own car from klia2 to kl city? What supper did you eat and where? Guess must unpack those dirty clothes from the luggage before going to sleep or else molds may grow on them, hehehe.

    1. Ya those cat figurines are indeed popular! Now every shops here also can see those cat figurines, big or small ;) My Aden even mimic the waving hands, haha xD

    2. yeah, it better to buffer more time if you are taking a flight.. i've had a few time experience that i buffered just enough time, and end up rushing like hell.. not nice.. oh yeah.. the Fortune Cat, didn't knew the fact until i saw the signboard while waiting for our luggage at the carousel..

back to KL already and i'll skip all the details.. my focus is on Japan only, and i've learned from comments and feedback that i should keep things short and sweet, haha!! :)

Anyway, you had a great trip and I enjoyed reading your travels and adventures. Hopefully I get to go to Japan someday....
