i remember only since Form 3 that cameras were more common at school, and that explained why most of my photos at school were taken during the later years of my high school life.. there was no digital cameras back then and all we used were negatives, hence we had to wait for the negatives to get developed before we could see the photos.. i clearly remember there were always photo albums being passed around, there was one piece of paper for everyone to order their photos, it was always 30-sen per piece i remember.. come to think about it, i have actually spent quite a lot in ordering photos, unlike how convenient it is now.. snap and see, not happy and snap again, until everyone is happy then distribute the photo online.. hence all these hardcopy old photos are so precious, i definitely want to scan them all and store them into my computer one day~~ :)

  1. Memories.. Thanks for sharing.

Printing hardcopies is a good practice really in case the digital ones get deleted. Scanning hardcopy is also wise as a form of backup should the physical one gets damaged.

Meow, who says we were worry-free back at the good old days? Maybe you were but I was worried sick of my studies and result. My parents were not loaded back then and they couldn't afford to send me to college and I had to fight my way for local university. So stress la~

oh yeah, i agree with Mama Meow!! unlike nowadays can always see and delete and retake, last time can always take once and then wait to see the result.. if the photo is not good, then besides getting disappointed, nothing can be done also..

    3. Ya...i remember last time when school party time people will bring camera and take photos . Then next year will circulate the album and let people order.

    1. OMG that is a lot of photos!! hahaha, but i guess this is very common already given that we are all using digital camera or smartphones now.. you have to backup your softcopies to somewhere like a CD lah, it's the best storage.. print them all out?? wow, expensive dei~~

      Delete
    2. print some would be okay la...now printing also not that expensive...$R is only around 30sen...a few online store does the printing and free delivery leh...some more of print above certain number of prints will get extra discount and FOC 5R or8R photos

    3. yalor, i think ask the printer to print is somehow cheaper than printing ourselves.. buying the paper and the ink also dunno how many puluh even ratus gone already, somemore the time to print leh..

and nope, never choose what underwear to wear because i would just wear plain white.. because our school pants in white can be very revealing, so cannot wear colored or patterned underwear else sure can see one!! hahaha~~
