30.04.2012 | 繼淨選盟

[Volume 7 Issue 4, #1400]
sorry for another Bersih 3.0 post.. after the rally, i became active in facebook again these couple of days.. because in order to get the frankest facts, we just have to get into social network and see insider updates through clips/photo/writings from those who were really involved.. local mainstream media are so well know for their skillful censorship, often reporting only superficial incidents to confused the audience, hence i never even given them a d*mn..
■ sharing some of my facebook updates below

    1. yeah, i think we can get instant updates from media all over the world at our fingertips on facebook.. more importantly, TRUE reporting..

    2. I got my updates from FB too. Cannot trust the TV and newspapers.

    3. Getting first hand news from the people who went to the rally is more reliable.

But must also know how to filter the news, as some people just simply 'add salt to the wound'.

      Delete
  3. And reading how some simply do not understand the reason we rally.

All they were bitching about was how shameful it is to the world to see us rallying.

What's so shameful about getting our voices across? @.@

    1. although it's a peaceful rally, i still reserved a bit and dare not go to the frontline.. while i thought they learnt from the previous mistake, still they are using violence and brutality against the dispersing people!!

    2. Some areas weren't that peaceful, from what I read.

Many reported about the overturned police car and the injured ones.

I'm thinking the same too, SK. I don't think there would be any Bersih rally in near future.

  16. I noticed PDRM this time also posted their own videos on YouTube. Thanks for the heads-up, SK and for sharing that video on my site.

Of course, I'm aware of censored videos. That's why I haven't posted any of their videos. Still looking. The one you shared will be among those that I will post. Thanks again. If you have anymore good ones, pls let me know. The world needs to know.

    1. yeah, i also noticed they have their own videos because they have setup several stations to capture videos.. but then you will notice what type of videos and photos they release, more superficial and trying to hide some truth behind..

there are two videos i've included at the bottom of this post, if you click on the "GO!!!" button..

    ReplyDelete
  30. i dont know whether you got post about children at the rally or not. Today saw some people posting about children at the rally and how the police is supposed to be blamed for tear gas.

Yes, Police should not tear gas people as there are old and children there. The parents may have wanted to educate their children but it is expected the rally to turn nasty, they should refrain from bringing the children. ot good to put the children at risk
