the CNY period has passed more than a half now.. i still remember during school days, while the adults were busy buying CNY goodies, we were busy looking for greeting cards everywhere.. back then i used to write lots of greetings in the cards and then give them away to (almost) all my classmates and friends.. and then we would compare who received the most cards, because the more you received the more popular you were amongst friends~~ :p

those were the days but i don't really think it's a trend to give physical greeting cards now right?? nowadays we normally greet others via emails, SMS or even FB.. but still, i think greetings during a festive season is best felt through physical greeting cards, still more real and more warmth.. :)

  43. @ iamthewitch:

i think it's a good idea to send SMS and e-cards, if you think it from the go-green perspective.. yeah, i've also not receive any greeting cards for quite some years already, not even e-cards.. but still receive some SMS which i guess is the most convenient way right?? :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. @ Mei Teng:
yeah, i totally accept this.. majority will go for the SMS which is just on your fingertips.. greeting cards will really come precious nowadays, don't you think?? :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. @ cindy:

    @ Chris Chia:

    ReplyDelete
  47. @ bluecloud:

    @ Pete:
hahaha, yeah, last time really use colorful pen to write.. but i guess now just typing on the handphone, haha..

    ReplyDelete
  48. @ CH Voon:
errr, actually not many people are sending out greeting cards already lah, so did you SMS them to wish them happy CNY?? well, you can be excused since you're spending the time in Russia~~ :D

    @ edward:

  49. @ Tekkaus:
oh, that is very sweet of you to still send greeting cards to your friends.. they must be very happy to receive your cards.. hahahaha, i think not bad at all though i definitely won't be the most popular one lah, haha.. but then electronic ones are more environmental friendly mah, hehe~~ :p

    @ Casendra:

  56. @ HappySurfer:
yeah, i think physical card means more with a greetings don't you think so?? errr, i think boys also send out greeting cards, this is not a girly thing leh, haha!! :D

    @ Bengbeng:
errrr, i don't think we can find them in pasar malam anymore, but still you can get them from shopping malls.. some could be really expensive but some are quite affordable.. well, haven't been sending out greeting cards for quite some while already though, haha~~ :D

    @ Ashley:
