DeleteSo rajin want to do homework one.
I so lazy... only like to spam SK. kikiki
Not very good la, got others already done the radio buttons ahead of me :(
DeleteI'm still searching for an appropriate topic for it. No idea yet...
I had to patiently read every s.i.n.g.l.e. word as they come out.
ReplyDeleteLambat lah.
I am a busy woman you know.
kakaka
Hehehe... we can practice our patient, mah~ Oumm.... oummm....
DeleteThe truth, I was looking at every single alphabet 'typed' and wish the speed would be faster. I'm very impatient, ya know.
You do yoga can lah... kakaka
DeleteSK, make the words come out faster! ;p
Yoga has nothing to do with patient. Mine still needs improvement
DeleteWhoah! You have such an antique typewriter!!!!
ReplyDeleteLast time during school, I remembered using that old typewriter. Must press hard hard one.
Then when somebody allowed me to use their electronic typewriter to type my CV for my boarding school application, I was like whoah! This is nice.
That time, where got know how to use computer yet... xD
Aiyoh! I feel so old already.
Eh, got electronic typewriter ka? I only used manual one wor~
DeleteYes, must type hard-hard, must change the ribbon and at the end of the line, must manually move to the next new line - via that huge 'spoon'(?). No word wrap!!
Other than the above, the one thing I hated the most - if I typed a wrong alphabet, I gotta use liquid paper (the one that come with a brush and a 'thinner' bottle, like nail polish), 'wipe' it and wait forever for it to get dry before proceed to type on top of it.
DeleteHahaha... everytime wrong cannot just backspace and delete.
DeleteAiyoh! You still remember that liquid paper with brush one ah? I forgot about it already until you mentioned it here. ;p
No 2nd take if using old typewriter.
DeleteSama ada betul atau salah, that's it.
that's why last time, people need to attend typewriting classes.
DeleteI dislike the liquid paper la. The liquid will get hardened and need to pour the thinner in. Otherwise when brush on paper, no smooth.
DeleteNow they even come out with the 'sticker'-like correction pen.
No more using the term liquid paper, hahaha.
I didn't attend any classes. So you can predict my typing skill.... slow using two forefingers only. I remember taking one hour long to finish one page, that's including the mistakes and liquid paper application in between.
DeleteWhen I was exposed to computer during my tertiary education, I bought a 'typing lesson' CD and self-learn at home. Cannot afford to not use my fingers other than forefingers, right? Need to type faster for all the assignments and projects.
Deleteya..I had tried the electronic one before..better than the old ones.
DeleteNowadays, the electronic typewriter also hard to find in offices already.
ReplyDeleteJust print lah!
Ok, that's the speed of the person who used the typewriter. That's mean SK's speed lor. Faster than mine....
ReplyDeleteI used typewriter for my school project too. Not as lucky as those brats nowadays who can use computer, but at least nicer than having ugly handwriting on my folio.
Yalah... nowadays, kids all use computer. Print everything colourful.
DeleteSome more ask parents to do it for them. There are colleagues at work coming to me asking me favours to print their children's school project with colour printer. @.@
Maybe I also resorted to that soon! @.@
DeleteNo good. No good.
I think I'll be that type of parent too :s
DeleteNo computer at home, no printer.... resort to office free equipments :p
Fuly utilise, izit? ;p
Deletesome kids are too dependent on their parents..
DeleteWah Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteBetween the two of us, already 26 comments now! Crazy! kakaka
36 comments already, including this!!
Deletewell done, both of u! keep it up!
DeleteThey are so scary like Aliens attacking!!!! Arrggghhhh!
DeleteWe are two lonely women because the Jedi didn't come and entertain us! Bwahahaha!!!!
DeleteHaha, not bad for these 2 chatterbox, right?? We can goreng a lot in less than 30 minutes.
DeleteGood Morning Bloggers! 38 comments! Faints!
ReplyDeleteThambee you can pass to me your old typewriter to sell in my antique shop!
ReplyDeleteSK should keep it..it's antique!
DeleteI think the typewriter was a wonderful invention and served the world for many decades since year 1808!!
ReplyDeleteI went for classes to learn how to use that typewriter.
DeleteKamala ask you to type this and swear you cannot do it!
ஒடிசாவில் LOVE FROM, KAMALA
Good morning..that reminds me of my typewriter in my cupboard.
ReplyDeleteIt's my precious gift from my colleagues many years ago.
ReplyDeletehaha..if only I can type that fast!
ReplyDeleteinteresting..my memories of my old typewriter.
ReplyDeletemaybe I should take out my typewriter and see if it's still working..
ReplyDeleteNo thank for this typewritter effect. Too slow la! I have almost lost my patient.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I had also learned how to type with typewritter then only learned computer.
ReplyDeleteBut not as ancient as yours. Hahahaha! Thanks to a boy, who asked me to learn that when I was in Uni.
ReplyDeleteHe gave me a software, so that I could learn the proper way of typing on keyboard.
ReplyDeleteNow, I can proudly say that I can type pretty fast, so I am an efficient worker to my boss.
ReplyDeletewow..that's great..I can't type that fast anymore even though I had my certs.
DeleteThat's years of practices to chat via icq, msn/yahoo messenger. My typing skill is partly improved because of my constant online chatting, hehe!
DeleteOops, forget to mention, your typewritter effect is cool. Animation in words, thumbs up for you, SK.
ReplyDeletenot bad not bad :)
ReplyDeletesomething new. The speed of the words appearing just at a nice pace.
ReplyDeleteI had an old canon type writer like that too.
ReplyDeletevery heavy.but good practice for fingers.
ReplyDeleteI like the feeling of typing hard on those keys..
DeleteBecoming too much of a habit and hubi complaining why am typing at PC like using a type writer...hitting keys so hard hahaaha
ReplyDeleteI've one...but not this old. I think it's somewhere in the store... Still can buy the ribbons these days?

ReplyDeletebetter change it asap if havent! hehehe
oh well! bila wanna hang out!! hahah can share share experience mah :P
ReplyDeleteI remember using these typewriters for my assignments and projects.
ReplyDeleteAny mistake, had to type all over again...
ReplyDeleteThen came Tipp-Ex...one bottle corrector, one bottle thinner...
ReplyDelete我屋企都有部,我有學過架!
ReplyDeleteAnd the corrector would harden...and the thinner would evaporate - disappeared into thin air...and both had to be thrown away.
ReplyDeletePeople nowadays, so luck...can use Word, cut and paste...and all that!!! Liquid Paper also much more user friendly than before...
ReplyDeleteHow's your thesis coming on? Going to graduate soon? Be thankful you do not have to work on that using this old-fashioned typewriter...
ReplyDeleteI have not use a manual typewriter before.. this type of typewriter can become antique soon!
ReplyDeleteit nice to try your hands on it..
DeleteImagine agreements being typed on these. Hats off to the typists!
ReplyDeleteVery nice scripting.
I know a person who used the typewriter to type his articles but he just died recently.
DeleteI used my typewriter to type my prestige forms when I was in school. The computer can't do that.
ReplyDeleteI used before last time! hehe, my mum was a secretary, and last time they had these typewriters.. very interesting to type.. tok tok tok
ReplyDeleteHELLO SK!!!! still remember me bo?? :(
ReplyDeleteI MISS COMMENTING ur blog! :<
ReplyDeleteMy grandpa still have it at home at KK! haha i used to play with it. >.<
ReplyDeleteBut if typed wrong then can't erase right? lol!
ReplyDeleteOMG! The javascripts so awesome! can teach me?? :3
ReplyDeleteI wanna try it too! >.< and actually there's quite a different between typing with it and computer keyboard! :D haha
ReplyDeletewahhh very cool effect! but luckily this isn't a long post, else it would take a good 15 mins for it to type fin! HAHAHAH!
