    1. Hehehe... we can practice our patient, mah~ Oumm.... oummm....

The truth, I was looking at every single alphabet 'typed' and wish the speed would be faster. I'm very impatient, ya know.

      Delete
    2. You do yoga can lah... kakaka

SK, make the words come out faster! ;p

      Delete
    3. Yoga has nothing to do with patient. Mine still needs improvement

  7. Whoah! You have such an antique typewriter!!!!

Last time during school, I remembered using that old typewriter. Must press hard hard one.

Then when somebody allowed me to use their electronic typewriter to type my CV for my boarding school application, I was like whoah! This is nice.

That time, where got know how to use computer yet... xD

Aiyoh! I feel so old already.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Eh, got electronic typewriter ka? I only used manual one wor~

Yes, must type hard-hard, must change the ribbon and at the end of the line, must manually move to the next new line - via that huge 'spoon'(?). No word wrap!!

      Delete
    2. Other than the above, the one thing I hated the most - if I typed a wrong alphabet, I gotta use liquid paper (the one that come with a brush and a 'thinner' bottle, like nail polish), 'wipe' it and wait forever for it to get dry before proceed to type on top of it.

      Delete
    3. Hahaha... everytime wrong cannot just backspace and delete.

Aiyoh! You still remember that liquid paper with brush one ah? I forgot about it already until you mentioned it here. ;p

      Delete
    4. No 2nd take if using old typewriter.

Sama ada betul atau salah, that's it.

      Delete
    5. that's why last time, people need to attend typewriting classes.

      Delete
    6. I dislike the liquid paper la. The liquid will get hardened and need to pour the thinner in. Otherwise when brush on paper, no smooth.

Now they even come out with the 'sticker'-like correction pen.

No more using the term liquid paper, hahaha.

      Delete
    7. I didn't attend any classes. So you can predict my typing skill.... slow using two forefingers only. I remember taking one hour long to finish one page, that's including the mistakes and liquid paper application in between.

      Delete
    8. When I was exposed to computer during my tertiary education, I bought a 'typing lesson' CD and self-learn at home. Cannot afford to not use my fingers other than forefingers, right? Need to type faster for all the assignments and projects.

      Delete
    9. ya..I had tried the electronic one before..better than the old ones.

      Delete
  8. Nowadays, the electronic typewriter also hard to find in offices already.

    Just print lah!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ok, that's the speed of the person who used the typewriter. That's mean SK's speed lor. Faster than mine....

I used typewriter for my school project too. Not as lucky as those brats nowadays who can use computer, but at least nicer than having ugly handwriting on my folio.

    1. Yalah... nowadays, kids all use computer. Print everything colourful.

Some more ask parents to do it for them. There are colleagues at work coming to me asking me favours to print their children's school project with colour printer. @.@

      Delete
    2. Maybe I also resorted to that soon! @.@

      No good. No good.

      Delete
    3. I think I'll be that type of parent too :s

No computer at home, no printer.... resort to office free equipments :p
