29.04.2012 | 記淨選盟

[Volume 7 Issue 4, #1399]

yes, i went to the Bersih 3.0 Rally yesterday.. i've always wanted just to attend and give support, hence i did not go to the very front line.. and because i was staying at peripheral locations, the few hours there have been peaceful, i was lucky that i wasn't hit by the water cannon and teargas, and there wasn't any violence and brutality seen.. though i may not consider this as practically participating, to be able to hold the same spirit with the other 250,000 people around me, at that moment, i felt that being there is something worth to be proud of.. have you registered to vote??

  7. I wouldn't say the same about the horrendous rampant littering that went on. So disgusting! I wish they could be a bit more civic-conscious. Certainly reflects badly upon them as people who care for their country. Tsk! Tsk!

    1. it's not about the littering that we care about.. we have more major things that we want to achieve, errr maybe just wish to achieve.. well, maybe you are not into all these assemblies, so you can still happily sit at home and eat your big feast.. those who attended are trying to get freedom for everyone that participate, and also for those who never care to participate.. hehehe!! :D

    1. hmmm, but i still think democracy is just so far away from us.. no matter how we protest, there is just still very little changes done for the better, only the worse..

  41. It was easy for you to hop onto the LRT train and head to town. Anay's car could never hit the town with road blockage! Next time I stay overnight at Thambee's house ok? Then we go to protest together!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. well, if you want to do it, you will really find your way.. many people came from very far and still able to make it to the assembly!! some walked 20km to go to the town.. it just depends on your will Anay..

  50. Not very convenient for me to join Bersih in KL. Got 2 kids tagging along - am thinking of their safety first.

Moreover, Bersih in my town here is not that 'happening', maybe the number of ppl involved is less than 50. Really bantah duduk only.

    ReplyDelete
  51. If I'm still single or married without kids, perhaps I would join the crowds and show some support~
