DeleteYay!! Today got number 50~
*trying to cheer myself up.... not be able to get first today, ceh*
DeleteFirst Lady finally gets back her first commenter throne~~ :D
DeleteSo happy can finally secure first place here!
ReplyDeleteLalala!!!
That feeling is so good, I cannot deny it. I came and saw 49 comments already T____T
DeleteWho ask me to come in the afternoon?
ok, you wanna give me a lunch treat to celebrate that or not?? wakakakaka~~
DeleteHaven't and probably won't try them. Not interested... yet
ReplyDeleteyeah, if there is no queue maybe i can consider.. but with such a long queue, forget it lah..
DeleteI see people buying thme everyday and enduring long queues... must be so nice eh?
ReplyDeleteSome more, these people sure have a lot of money to spend.
I just drink teh tarik my tea lady make for me lah. ;p
yeah, and they are like they have found a new piece of land, haha!! most probably they buy because they see others buy only..
DeleteThen once a month only can afford that venti Mocha frappucino at Starbucks. huhuhu
ReplyDeletei can't even afford that once a month lah.. i only treat myself the kopitiam coffee only..
DeleteI commented 5 times already.
ReplyDeleteStill no Queen.
No prefect also?
Yesterday only hard working ah? xD
because nobody dares to compete with First Lady mah~~ :D
DeleteIt's such a fad, hard to walk around and not see these shops at malls.
ReplyDeleteyeah, it's getting so populated with all these bubble tea and dessert shops!! crazy..
DeleteStill nobobdy???!!!
ReplyDeleteno worries, even if no one comments, i am still stalking~~ :D
DeleteQueen Yvonne is still reading the full article, is it? ;p
ReplyDeletelina, my Royal Highness Queen Yvonne was busy with her duty in the palace just now. She will be back soon.
DeleteThe King needed me just now during his royal talk(-cock) this morning.
DeleteGot to sit beside him and listen to all rubbishes.
Now I'm still recovering from brain-jammed.
Delete3 long hours of conference and break for 5 minutes every hour.
wakakakaka, 3 hours of talk-cocking?? Her Royal Highness almost want to cook that cock already?? wakakakaka~~ :D
DeleteGood morning First Lady Lina! You gave me a fright with so many comments!
ReplyDeleteBecause you all so quiet!
DeleteHad to entertain myself here. LOL
oh, i thought Jedi TM is away to somewhere for business??
DeleteThambee you still drink fresh cow's milk everyday! No wonder so big sized and round. Wanna slim down, drink faked milk tea. LOL
ReplyDeleteI thot drink fake tea can make you more round? ;p
Deletetea is an antioxidant..
DeleteBut this faked tea is disaster, cannot take it as antioxidant.
DeleteI mean the real tea leaves.
Deletehahaha, Kamala says milk is good for Thambee so Thambee still drinks those fresh cow milk that Kamala squeezes for Thambee every morning..
Deletehmmmm, i wonder if milk tea is still anti-oxidant??
Last year when the news came out about it's dangers, I avoided this drink. Later the research showed that it does not apply to all the bubble tea in the market.
ReplyDeleteNo apply to all, ka? Then which one is safe?
DeleteI used to buy milk tea from pasar malam vendor occasionally, until the news broke out.
Now no more milk tea for me and my family.
not apply to all but apply to most right?? so which one is not harmful to our health?? i want to buy that!!!
DeleteWell, many humans and consumers are funny beings sometimes. They go for tastes and flavor regardless of it's price and dangers!
ReplyDeleteand for style also.
DeleteIf looks cool, then must do it.
The herd mentality. xD
I wouldn't mind too..just once
DeleteOh, I'm very stingy one.... always check out the price first, kekeke!
Deleteyeah, that's why i feel this is so amusing!! they just buy because others are buying, they queue because there's a long queue.. they never have thought whether they like or not, but when many people are having that, they feel proud because they had it before.. silly yeah??
DeleteSo much reports and warnings have been given about the dangers of smoking! It kills and causes cancer, heart disease and other dangers, yet we have new puffers everyday. The tobacco industry is still making billions! Who cares?
ReplyDeletehaha..we still sell cigarettes too
DeleteThis just imply that bubble tea outlets would continue to earn big $$$
Deletevery true also Anay.. that's why you see so many people died of sickness everyday right??
DeleteThambee dei, did you know that your favorite sushi and sashimi is not good for health too? All the raw meat of fish and cow caused many patients to have worms eating their brains? The meat was not cooked and bacteria's eggs will hatch inside your body. They move up to multiply in your Head like a nest of the tree. I am not kidding boy!
ReplyDeletethat's indeed scary but I still take sushi and shashimi
Deleteactually Thambee seldom eat raw food lah.. Thambee doesn't like sushi at all, but sashimi, haha!! anyway, i think maybe one day there will be rotten fish coming out from Thambee's stomach because of all those worms?? yet, we all still eat albeit hear many of these news..
DeleteAnyway, enough of my grandma talk. Life is so short dei.... Just take middle path, eat everything moderately and be happy... Satay, sushi, bubble tea, nicotine, caffeine and other toxic won't kill you instantly if taken in smallest quantity.
ReplyDeletetrue..just experience it at least once
Deleteyes, eat things moderately and i think we are all fine.. afterall, what's life for without good food right?? :D
DeleteThambee, I wanna belanja you bubble milk tea! You will love it and say thanks to me!
ReplyDeletei want to drink those that is excluded in the harmful list from the report anay read about..
DeleteI had tried just once or twice..
ReplyDeletei actually have not tried chatime and all others what cha what time at all..
Deletebut guess I didn't like it
ReplyDeletehaven't tried so cannot comment here..
DeleteI practically had to swallow the 'pearls'
ReplyDeleteerrr, you swallow without chewing them??
Deleteanyway, it's not my favourite
ReplyDeleteactually i find those pearls quite nice, because of the chewiness, haha~~
Deletefurthermore, it's so expensive!
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, i think they are very over-priced!! RM5.90 for a cup, the profit margin is so high!!
DeleteNormally when I buy those pearl milk, I'd request no pearls inside, heard too much of how 'fake' they are.. (黑心珍珠) =_=
ReplyDeletehahaha, ok, so without the pearls you have one thing less harmful in your harmful drinks!! :D
Deleteyou have not tried? well, i am not a big fan of these drinks either. But recently its the craze and all
ReplyDeleteerrr, nope, i am not interested at all actually.. it's a craze i know but doesn't mean i have to follow.. :)
Delete我都几锺意饮奶茶嘎
ReplyDelete不过不是珍珠奶茶,是Teh Tarik!
是不是安全好多咧?
哈哈, teh tarik是我們的national drink, 肯定要捧場嘛~~ :D
DeleteBubble tea!!! Bad for health...
ReplyDeletehttp://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubble_tea#section_5
ReplyDeleteTried before and it's not even nice!
ReplyDeleteCan't understand why people like it so much...
ReplyDeleteYou like kah? Eyewwwwww!!!!
ReplyDeletei didn't say i like, in fact i said i am lucky that i didn't even tried once.. hmmm, again you are not reading the contents!! how dare you~~
Deleteplastic powder?? omg. i want to stop drinking pearl milk tea already T_T
ReplyDeleteLatest: The Healthy Bar
haha, i just read this from that article, but not verified if all those "pearls" out there are added with plastic powder..
DeleteSK, this post of you very meaningful. I am not "bodeking", ok. It is a good reminder for your readers.
ReplyDeletei know i know.. i always know my posts are meaningful one, hahahaha~~
DeleteI did buy these type of milk tea a few times, not more than 5 times la!
ReplyDeletelast time i think i tried couple of times lah but didn't really impressed me.. now see also not interested to buy..
DeleteAfter reading this post of yours, I have to stop taking it thoroughly.
ReplyDeletei think it's still ok to drink lah, just be moderate lor..
DeleteI think I better stick to my green tea and oat milk for better health.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, green tea is good.. and oat milk for your breakfast?? how healthy~~
DeleteSince it causes cancer, it should ban from opening store in the country, don't you think so?
ReplyDeleteerrr, i don't think so.. because it really depends on how people drink it.. it's legal because the substances are not over the allowed dosage, so still they pass under regulations..
DeleteSK, what about those snowy dessert from Taiwan? It also contains a lot of pearl balls and taro lo! I think those also bad for health, right?
ReplyDeletei think it's the same thing lah.. but so far i tried only once and didn't quite like it.. and in fact, i read somewhere there eating too many shaved ice isn't good to health too..
DeleteOnce again, thanks for the reminder, I will stop my girls from taking it totally.
ReplyDeleteyeah, if they want they you say "mommy will homemake for you all".. make your own pearls at home lah, then add into the iced green tea for them, sure they will like..
DeleteHonestly, I like bubble tea and the chewy balls. It's sweet, mild tea taste (I dislike tea) and come in many flavours.
ReplyDeleteBut have stopped since it do more damages than goods in each intake.
i don't really like bubble tea but then i think the pearls are nice, haha!! i love the chewiness actually.. but then i seldom drink that lah..
DeleteBut then, I never tried those commercialized bubble tea, namely chatime, gong-cha(?). Bought from pasar malam only :p
ReplyDeleteAlready complained RM2.50 for a glass of bubble tea is expensive..... and those franchised one suppose to be more pricey.
yeah, i think they are so ridiculously overcharging!! RM5.90 for a cup of drinks, wow, i wonder how many folds of net profit they earn..
DeleteMy girl loves bubble tea too, but she doesn't enjoy the tapioca balls.
ReplyDeleteMy son, on the other hand, I don't allow him to have it. He just drinks and swallows. He doesn't chew and I'm afraid he might choke on the balls (If he vomit, that would be better. If he doesn't, then how?? *touch wood*)
hahaha, so this means you again can buy one and they share.. one drink the tea one eats the pearls, haha!! well, i think better not let kids have the pearls, it may choke them to suffocation..
DeleteThis type of Taiwan Bubble tea is one of my favourite ! But I know of those artificial stuffs being added into the milk tea, so i control control also. haha....tasty stuff are never healthy.
ReplyDeletei think no harm drinking that once in a while, as long as you have them moderately.. because there isn't anything that is 100% safe and healthy out there lah..
Deleteme not crazy about bubble tea la.
ReplyDeleteonly once in a blue moon baru drink hahaha
Deletedun like all the colour colour thingy
Deletei also not crazy about it, in fact i would say not interested at all about it, haha!!
Deletenot into these milk teas either. too sweet and the colours are scary!
ReplyDeleteerrr, yes.. all are flavorings and colorings only!! not really interested also..
DeleteThis come out from newspaper also but then seriously not much people give a damn...
ReplyDeletevery true.. malaysians are always very forgetful.. news and incidents can be forgotten very fast.. haha!!
Deletestill, I love bubble tea no matter what. LOL
ReplyDeletehahaha, no right or wrong for loving or hating bubble tea lah.. it's personal choice..
Deletethe text that the person write it is true eh, and not only bubble tea ok? Coca Cola, and other soft drink is no good lol
ReplyDeleteyalah.. there is nothing that is 100% safe and healthy out there one lah.. sure comes with some harmful chemicals, as long as we take in moderately should be ok lah..
Deleteanyways, drink what also will die1, even drink mineral water now a days isn't safe enough
ReplyDeleteyeah, nothing is 100% safe now already.. unless you drink only pure water, but then not good also cos don't have the minerals and too much water is not good as it will harm your body also..
Delete講到咁恐怖,不過我一向少飲,除非好頸渴而又冇其他選擇下就會例外。
ReplyDelete我都少飲, 係見到啲人咁瘋狂好似執到寶咁, 我先同大家分享下啫..
Deleteoh, was it still morning?? haha..
ReplyDeleteis it true what they claimed? :X
ReplyDeletei've not tried it for years actually... i actually didn't quite notice the comeback of bubble tea hahaha!
well, i didn't go verify the creditability of the information, but seems like he has reference some other sources and could be highly trustable.. oh, you didn't realise the come back, anyway, good also because you won't go to buy just because it's a trend, haha~~
