並冇針對任何人, 因為人各有志, 只不過係小小意見, 簡單就是美吖嘛~~i spent time everyday blogging and also replying my readers' comments.. similarly i spent time to read other blogs, sometimes with all the links, i ended up reading loads of random blogs for the whole night.. because of the browsing style of blog reading, the ultimate factor to get me decide whether to read on that blog is the loading speed.. if a blog needs minutes to load, i will often skip it and choose to go to the next one..

i found out there are some bloggers who like to upload mountain-high of huge filesize photos to share with their readers, yes i admit this actually makes the content richer, but too much photos means more loading time too.. anyway i understand this is inevitable, but just try to minimise if possible i would say.. next would be those really unnecessary cutie-tuttie widgets all over the blog.. OMG, and most of the time i realised those widgets that hang the page loading, truly a no no for me.. my little opinion is that, try to keep your blog clean and simple, you are writing to share with the readers, there is actually not necessary to makeup your blog till over-fancy but impractical right?? not particularly pin-pointing anyone, since everybody has their own style, but just my two cents: simplicity is beauty..

  1. Yeah yeah yeah I know I upload so many photos but I put them in small files. Next time I post only 1 photo okay and type 5 lines, ok boss?? :)

  3. i think photos are always more attractive than words.. anyway i agree with you that the bloggers should reduce the filesize of the photos.. :)

err, i don't have any problem reading your blog actually.. your photos load fast, and what's more?? your super large bolded font is really easy to read lor, hehe :p

    Danny:
haha, that i know.. guess my photos don't really mean a lot to what i'm trying to express huh??

    wesley:
exactly, i've been to blogs where the author so eagerly wanted to share the photos - but forgotten about the loading performance..

  16. Different strokes, different interpretations, different tastes, I suppose. One's style and preferences has a lot to do with his/her inborn personality traits. As for me, a sucker for sophisticated simplicity any day...
Incidentally, any recommendations for non-hazardous zombied/dazed wonderings in KL? Happened to be transit for a couple of days. Thx... :)

  17. yeah different style and different taste, and i respect them totally.. sophisticated simplicity you are for?? hmmm, kind of sophisticated anyway, hahaha!!

what do you mean by non-hazardous zombied/dazed wonderings?? i'm not sophisticated at all, you gotta tell me straight to the point, hehehe :p

  18. Hmmm modesty & humility here fr a sucessful blogger. ;) But me think you should know yourself, right?
As for the wonderings, am actually here on a mission but I guess it can only be realised in my mind while "wondering". How pathetic of me.Anyway, I believe miracles do happen sometimes...:)

  19. over-rated, i am no successful blogger at all, haha!! anyway, come to think of it, getting to know yourself well is actually not easy at all, don't you think so??

what mission and miracle, and what kind of wondering and wandering?? you are getting very Zen indeed now.. hehe :p

  20. Should actually be "wanderings" not "wonderings". Sorry for the confusion. Emm, as for my mission, pls kindly refer to your blog dated 03.11.2008 . The beauty of woking in riddles (or more like beating around the bush? Hahaha ^v^). Hope to cross paths with you someday, sometime. Off to fill my tummy now...haha :D

  21. hey!! that 03.11.2008 mission is not a mission at all dude!! are you sure you really want to do that?? or did you actually mean that 30.11.2008 mission instead?? hehe~~ :D

    ReplyDelete
  22. More so 03.11.2008 . Zombied/dazed wanderings can be healing too. No room in my backpack for 30.11.2008 (enroute to Yunnan tmrw for the next 10days), but I know it can be therapeutic. 0183973722 if you don't mind meeting up for a cuppa with an uncle ;) (Would be an honour). Chiao for now! :D (Tummy growling to be filled, hehe ^v^)

  23. haha, if you just want those 03.11.2008 zombied/dazed wanderings, then ANYWHERE will do, you just need to setup your emotions and feelings right, hahaha :p backpacking to yunnan?? that sounds interesting.. when are the exact dates you gonna be in KL btw??

    ReplyDelete
  24. True. Anywhere will do. Just came back from a pretty fun-filled solo night out /"wanderings" at the Beach Club & Legends (i think). Wow, so many "angels of the night" prowling their trade there. But no mood lah. For me, no feel, no deal. Stupid, right? Prior to that, in KLCC. Unfortunately, didn't cross paths with any of the "legends" who visit your blogsite. Better luck next time. Next transit in KL after back fr Yunnan will be the 24th & 25th Dec. Organising anything? Can I gatecrash? Hahaha ;).

  25. dude, the "wanderings" you did at the Beach Club is not "wanderings" really, but it's called CRUISING, hahaha!! you were at KLCC?? i was in Pavilion, watching Bolt, hehe, we just missed!! coming to KL for xmas heh?? no plans at all, yet~~

    ReplyDelete
  26. Alamak, another near miss. When u think of it, life is fairly short for too many near misses! Hahaha (^u^), "cruising", not "wandering"-very aptly put :). Was actually sent there by a cabbie, when I asked for suggestions on where to hang out on a Sat night. Wasn't aware of Beach Club's notoriety before that! Well, at least now I know where to go when all alone by myself in KL ;).
Am currently in a god-forsaken, misty, rough & tumble, multi-ethnic rojak, frontier cowboy town somewhere along the Chinese/Burmese border. I stand out like a sore thumb to these people. (Surprisingly, it still has a couple of internet cafes!). Been doing some hardcore, gritty, muscle-aching, refugee-like wanderings - and all these for what/for whom? Trying to escape from reality, i think. How pathetic of me...In the meantime, may the Force be with u & your loved ones...Don't forget to cherish them!
