BONJOUR!! greetings from Paris!! how is everyone doing on this blue monday?? do you like this picture i took, so classically french?? if you like this photo, you don't have to fly to paris to see it, but we have it here right in front of your eyes at Lot 10 KL, wakakakaka!! what a lame joke to kick off your monday right, well, at least i hope there's no more blues after this?? this was actually taken at the lift area leading to the fine dining section on the rooftop of Lot 10.. my first time using this lift and was impressed when i stepped out, the paintings on the wall and that posh velvet round sofa!! it looks like one corner in the Château de Versailles to me, and suddenly felt like i am a very classy person too, hehe.. very beautiful idea but how ironic it is when you see patrons all dressed up in very typical malaysian t-shirt and bermudas outfit (just like me) walking past this oh-it-looks-so-french area, it's like a black fly in your chardonnay, haha!! :D

Yesterday passby Kota Raya area. Saw a guy with a DSLR camera cangkung there snapping photos of duno tong sampah or the telephone booth. So weird post. was tempted to snap photo if him. Wondering when sk snap this photo was he squatting like that guy LOL

    3. Good afternoon, all! Good afternoon, SK!

I'm still experiencing Monday blues, SK~ I will not be facing Monday blues if I don't have to work on Mondays, so it's better that Mondays are declared as weekend holidays.... but then I'll have Tuesday blues, kakakaka!

    4. Good afternoon everyone here. Today, my engine is still very slow after not working for 2 days. I need some time to warm up. Usually, Monday is quite busy for me.

    5. HS

ya no time to sort out photos yet

Why not working Monday geh? Your office close on monday, Yvonne? Or did you take leave?

Ya wor...engine very hard to warm up of two days holiday...sigh....

    6. Complain! Complain! Complain!!! Like that, better no weekend!!! All of you work seven days a week.... Then see any more complaints about Mondays and all that or not. LOL!!!

    7. You so ganas STP!!! We want to work 4 day-week boleh kah?

    8. I work seven days a week - Weekdays in the office, weekend at home.

That's why I complain a lot on Monday, LOL!

Saturday is the busiest day at home for house chores.

Monday is the busiest day in the office to pick up whatever left on the previous Friday.

    9. So nice to be a retired pensioner...goyang kaki, do a bit of this here and a bit of this there. So relaxed, my life...and get paid - not much, but enough to get by - no need to work, so can't really complain. Hehehehehehe!!!!

Ok, all of you!!! Get to work, don't play-play! I had my share of that in my days. Hehehehehe!!!!

  3. Yalor...I see at fine dining places, all the young people dressed up like they're at McD's or KFC...so inappropriate, so out of place. No class at all.

    1. I prefer to have my meals at hawker centers. No need to follow any dress code and they allow me to enter with slippers and shorts :D

But of course, I'll dress up when I get invited to those high class places, LOL~ Must match the venue and not to get embarrassed (kena shooed).

      Delete
    2. Hahaha...hawker centre or normal restaurat la. No need classy one/. classy place wanna eat also like no mood. have to jaga "Ying Jeong". Cannot use fingers kakaka

      Delete
    3. That is exactly why I prefer eating at hawker stalls and cheap places... No need to worry about dressing and how I conduct myself. These high class places so prim and proper - burp also will sound so loud like thunder and everyone will give you THAT look... Me, so poor...no class one...not like TM or SK.

      Delete
    4. Eh! STP picking one me again. I always eat at hawker stalls and ta pau left overs from weddings to bring home for next day's dinner. So cham!!!

    5. Liar, liar...pants on fire. So rich, dine with kings and queens and sultans and rajas and tunkus...and you expect me to believe that?

  4. In Lot 10, eh? Gotta check it out. How was the food?

    1. I've heard of the place. Some bloggers have blogged about it - yet to go and check it out. Did not stay in that area the last time I went to KL.

      Delete
    2. Not o say you not staying KL u dont wanna go la. I also avoid that area. super daily every hour traffic jam and human sea human mountain. If i can avoid i will aboid.

      Delete
    3. I usually avoid busy areas such as Lot 10 and Sungai Wang. The traffic is bad - with vehicles and humans; and the pollution makes it worst!

I prefer to lepak in Sunway or MV or 1U~ I'm not young anymore, looking for more relaxing days.

Overall, I still like ghost town like Taiping the most, hihihi!

      Delete
    4. and a lot of foreigners. Makes me feel uncomfortable.

some more that area always a playgroud for those snatch thieves and pick pocket. Me very scared

ya MV and 1U is sort of "calmer".

But i think maybe that is the attraction for that fine dining restaurant. In the middle of the busy golden triangle, there is a classy joint. Makes it stand out. Thoese rich people or tourist will pay for the ambiance

      Delete
    5. Ada gaya, ada class mah... For rich people to flaunt their wealth, show off - one dish can feed a whole family at a chu-char place. I would not want to waste my money like that. What class!!! After eating, at the end of the day will also come out as shit...and just as smelly!!!

      Delete
  5. Their behaviour also, the way they conduct themselves...no sense of polite social etiquette. These days, all these things have gone to the dogs.

    1. cannot blame the patrons also la. The Management also at fault. If they want the place to be classy then they should impose the dress code. Then why let them in? For businmess or lack of business?

Really does not give me good vibes on the management.

Not all are impolite la. some only. Sometimes we dont see people good point.

Cant judge a book by its cover, same also for the people dressing.

      Delete
    2. Betul, betul, betul, I agree with what meow said.

My guess, the management is trying to attract more patrons to its place. Who cares about their attires when $$$ is flowing in like water? Hehehehe...

I always wear casually, die lor, sure am being regarded as low-class people @.@

      Delete
    3. same with me la, Yvoone. I always with T shirt and jeans. Sure kena kick out.

Low class at least have class...later me no class langsung LOL

      Delete
    4. If dress up so nice, not comfortable...eat also cannot enjoy. Sit also must sit properly, eat also must not make noise...the knife and fork hit the plate...CLINK...every head turns and look at you - how to enjoy like that? All stressed out...just to go for one dinner!

      Delete
  6. If it's fine dining, there must be some form of dresscode. No?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. These days, they do not seem very strict these days...only some. No is no...if you are not appropriately dressed - out you go!

      Delete
    2. For one thing, they always put a sign - no slippers. If I leave my slippers at the door, they cannot stop me from going in, right? After all, they never said - no barefeet!

      Delete
    3. They probably will let you in too if you wore your birthday suit. They never say "No birthday suit". Oops!

      Delete
    4. there should be a dress code la but since the management is not imposing the rules...then who is to blame?

If they kick out those who did not adhere to the rules, they got no business. Then swatting flies. will soon bankrupt.

hard to do business. Unless the boss very rich a and have richman friends. But even the rich and famous in msian nowadays only wear shorts and T shirt to go out.

      Delete
    5. Em... we are talking here as if SK went for fine dining. He's a classy person, he couldn't be wearing bermudas to such high-class restaurant. So, could it be, SK is doing as a part-time waiter there :D

Just kidding, SK always spend his weekend, doing and eating something luxurious after saving during the weekdays, am I correct?

      Delete
    6. that is why i am puzzled. SK did not say he go for fine dining or whether he saja passby the place?

He cerita separuh only. Tarak cerita habis.

not that bad gua he had to waiter there? Buy gifts for us till pokai ka? Makes me feel guilty

Maybe he got a speacial someone which he went for dinner with leh . wink wink.

or maybe i dare to dream that he goes there to ask for quatation for our year end blogger award gathering feast?

      Delete
    7. Or he's surveying...want to find a nice place to take me for dinner the next time I go to KL? Wink! Wink! LOL!!!

    8. Tonight when you sleep, go and dream of SK taking you to dine at Double Tree Hilton ok.

    2. For real fine dining, hotels would normally have such restaurants. But then again Lot 10 is worth a visit what with the opening of H&M recently.

There's a good variety of local Chinese fare too at the basement - non-halal food, probably the only one in a shopping complex.

      Delete
    3. Yay! Got someone who is as outdated as me!!

Frankily i seldom stepped into that area. I think more than 5 yrs i did not step into lot 10. The place feels very "chap" to me la.
But that was ages ago. Now am not too sure.

    4. Double yay!! I'm also very outdated!

The last time I stepped into that area was 10 years ago! And I didn't go to Lot 10 because I couldn't afford the stuffs there back then. Most of the time, I went shopping at Sungai Wang.... loved the arcade.

Sometimes checking out new places is risky. The other day went makan then the food so lousy one though people said the place very sedap la this and that.

Thats why if got food review invite also lazy to go coz if not nice how to write????
