oh, what happened to fing-fing?? what happened to his hair?? daddy placed a big clip on fing-fing's hair and wanted to be his hairstylist?? frankly, parents during our time sure must know how some basic hair-cutting skills, at least before the kids started to grow up, i supposed their hair are all done by the parents.. if one day you see a kid on the street, with the fringe on the forehead so neatly cut like a horizontal line, you can most probably say it's the "craft" of the parents, haha!! when i was studying overseas, to save money and more importantly didn't know how to communicate with gwai lo barber (yes, barber only lah, where got money for hairstylist??), so i remember a few friends gathered together and trying to cut each other's hair, but yet gave up in the end.. cutting hair is really not an easy job as you expect!! if it's that easy, then there won't be world's top hairstylist who earns hundreds of times more than us a month.. done with my nonsense, happy sunday everyone!! :p

  5. Hello Fing-Fing! Don't worry, I'm sure your daddy can cut your hair nicely and perfectly since you will definitely sit down quietly. Well, I experienced cutting hair for my school-going brother before. He didn't like to visit the barber and he wanted me to cut for him. I took quite a long time cutting his hair and he was very quiet and patient too. I was actually surprised that I did that. But I'm sure nowadays kids won't allow their parents to cut their hair.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Coz girls are more patience. If ask yur bro trim your hair i think he will be like SK. End up you have to go to hair salon to safe your hair.

  21. It is such a good business and profession to cut hair these days. The top salons will pester you to buy hair tonic and lotions by telling that your hair is dull and limp with flaky scalps! There goes RM150 extra.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I hate those salons! Any that tries to pull that stunt, I would never ever go again! Crooks!!! They wrap you up, wet your hair...and when you're their captive victim, they will start their sales talk. @#$%^&*!!!!

  24. Fing-Fing actually doesn't need a hair cut at all. The longer the hair the better looking! Anyway, if your daddy wants to cut your hair, let him do it. Parents always make a good barber. I believe that I was once a good 'barber' too for my brother and son.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Surprisingly, I didn't cut my two daughters' hair at all one. First, I was a very clumsy mom. I couldn't do this dedicated job at all. So, since birth I brought them to have their hair trim at the saloon. I don't mind spending on their hair, as I am phobia doing this trimming job on their hair. Anyway, having hair cut isn't that expensive in my place.
