I had a friend who worked as a waiter at McD once. He told me that if there are no takers for the burgers on the rack, they will be thrown away! So got people who grab it for free from behind.

I encountered once during the opening of Starbucks in my area here, the barista made a wrong order for me and I insisted to change. Of course they changed for me, but I didn't know what happened to the wrong one. Wait for it to get diluted with ice and sell it to the next customer, perhaps?

ReplyDeleteI think it's a marketing gimmick la. They puposely give choice Medium or Large. They dont bother to say Small. Coz if see the price different between small and medium usulaly notthat much. About RM1 or RM2 only. Maybe that's why most people go for Medium and Large.
ReplyDeleteBut at least they offer S,M and L. They ask whether their customers want to top up, just to earn extra for the company.
DeleteNot like some marketing gimmick I encountered before, saying the size S and M finished already. Left L size, %&*^$ means purposely force me to buy extra la!
Last time when I didnt know that there is free refill of drinks at McD, I also go for Large set coz wanted the large drink.
