once upon a time, when i pay by a RM50 note, the cashier may have asked if you have smaller notes.. of course now there is no such story anymore, you take out the RM50 notes one by one without even realizing it, only when you're back home and check your wallet, you realized how much you have actually spent for the day.. nowadays RM50 can really buy not much, i just realized today that food in eateries enjoy another price increase.. already few times within just a couple of years, what world is this??!! thinking about RM5 for one meal now is probably impossible, still wishing that RM500 extra to be enough for one family to spend for one whole year?? hahaha, unless there is a miracle, furthermore how could this be possible with another handsome tax coming soon?? our wallets are already shrinking, yet another hole is cut at one corner!! @.@"

  2. Good morning SK and everyone here. Life isn't ideal. Life is indeed tough. Anyway, life goes on.

The rich one is getting richer, the poor one is still getting poorer. How pathetic, right?

    2. RM52 for 5 kira as okay liao lor. Never kena slaughter can thank God jor.

actually if you see properly ah...the food not that expensive. It's the drinks that kills you.

One soft drinks RM2 or rm2.50. Some even dare to charge RM3. who much they buy in bulk...cost around rm1 only mah.

then if u take those Lemon juice, lime juice or carrot juice, they charge RM4-RM9 depending on place. But how much lemon or lime they put in? Whole lemon ah? Nope...only two slices...okay la...giive it max half a lemon la...1 lemon rm1. so half is only 50 sen...water and ice max give it another 50 sen la....so...profit actually very high leh. Carrot oranges all those can buy in bulk leh

I think they are regretting having that scheme now as people are living longer lives...and they have to pay everybody every month for doing nothing. I hear people entering public service now have to opt for EPF, no choice - no more pension scheme for them.

Unless if I hop into McD or any fast food chain, then RM10 sure is not enough. Eh, i can afford McValue lunch :D

  17. The only time when I felt so painful with all this taxes was in US!!!! I was a student and the sales & misc taxes varied from state to state in America! It was so ridiculous and you still need to tip between 5-10% for dining in restaurants!!

  18. I must learn to cut down my expenses since we failed to UBAH the gomen! I will start planting vegetables in my gardens! That will save lotsa money! Maybe Anay can sell real organic sayur in neighbourhood too!

    2. Good, good! Plant your own veg - stay home...don't eat out. Like living abroad, it is a whole lot cheaper to buy and cook one's own...and a whole lot healthier too...and you can save on petrol...on the parking fee. There are ways to stretch the ringgit - just grumbling and grumbling is not going to help one bit...and it only leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

When you keep thinking depressing thoughts, you end up not only depressing yourself but all those around you. I would like to believe that there is more to life than that. Give thanks, praise God that we are alive and well and thank Him for whatever little blessings that may come our way...and try to be happy and live our lives the best we can. God helps those who help themselves.
