相信呢個佳節假期應該"正式"落幕, 每個人都應該準備返回現實又或者老早已經返咗工, 雖然嚟緊嘅星期五又再有個假期, 呵呵!! 對我嚟講, 佳節假期最好就邊度都唔好去, 因為全部人走晒, 好難得先有個非常之清靜, 冇乜人潮兼且交通順暢嘅吉隆坡.. 去到其他國內熱點旅遊地方一定人潮洶湧, 又或者出國旅行, 除咗俾貴啲嘅機票, 出到去見到好多人熟口熟面你仲會以為自己喺馬來西亞!! 所以留喺屋企乜都唔做未必顯得可憐, 睇下fing-fing咁優哉游哉咁, 其實乜都唔做正正就係做緊一件好享受嘅事~~ :p
i guess the raya festive is "officially" over now, everyone's ready to get back to work or already gone back to work, though the coming friday is yet another holiday, hehe!! to me, festive season is definitely not a choice for me to go anywhere, because everyone is leaving the city so this is the time i can enjoy the quietness and peace, and most importantly smooth traffic and no crowd, of KL.. it's sure packed in popular local tourist spots, and if you are overseas, besides forking out for more expensive flights, you may think you are actually in malaysia when you are out there, haha!! that's why staying at home doing nothing may not be bad at all, just look at fing-fing, how chillaxing he is crossing his legs and laying his hands behind his head, doing nothing is doing something enjoyable~~ :p

      On Merdeka weekend, I will travel with family to SP's home town. April has a ping pong tournament, we will stay a night in Ipoh to enjoy the good food and some shopping there.

      Yes, yes, Merdeka day is the peak of Hungry Ghost Month. If time permits I will go pai-pai at temple (again).

      I didn't do any traveling during the previous festive season, scared of mountain people, sea people. Contradict to KL, small town here is very busy and meriah.

      The sudden town population can get to 3x compare to usual days. Scary, eh?

      School holiday travel around MSia is a horror. Everywhere also full of Human Mountain Human sea.

      Ya should go sibe la SP. The Mayor of Sibu will give you the best tour of Sibu. No joke. Last time we went there really paiseh. He sumbat us makan 6 meals a day. Went of 5 days and my blog posted month blog post of sibu. Coz non stop eating leh./

      eh you guys dont say about theis 7th month. Really manyak ad luck. So many people pass away during 7th month.

      Dont know you all believe or not la. Or maybe because of the 7th month our 6 sense are extra sharp la. But for me I feel like around this7th month each year many people will die.

      Baru last week i received news of 2 people that i know directly and also indirectly pass away.

      one of them is malay man. Passaway during Raya. Young man. Baru 40s. so sad

    True! True! Airfares soooo expensive over the festive season - simply cannot afford. I went to KL that day RM81...but Raya time, over RM800. I'd rather stay at home. Anyway, 7th Month, best kwai-kwai stay at home...don't go anywhere.

      Festive time memnag expensive la air travel. Not worth it. and when reach destination. hotel also mahal and then go anywhere also have to "fight" with people to makan, for sightseeing and etc

      Especially the malls. Not only Malaysians love the malls, foreigners in Malaysia love them too.

      Lina, now if weekend i go KL, i feel like I have gone to Bangladesh, Vietnam or Indon. Full of foreigners. Then have to worry about pick pocket.
      Even shopping complex around PJ already also full of people. Find parking also need half hr. Then have to think of what to eat and where to jalan. so boring. Rather stay home.

    4 hours only! My friend, Mandy, left at dawn...but lunchtime baru reach Sg Perak...not in Penang yet. Seemed everybody had the same idea - leave early, avoid the jam. They said afternoon, traffic smooth liao... Sometimes better not to be too clever. LOL!!!

      I am also happy this week, cause I only need to work 4 days only. After Merdeka, I am looking forwards to Malaysia Day on 16 Sep, then following by Hari Raya Haji in October, then Deepavali in November, finally the most anticipated festive, Christmas and New Year. Yeah! My mind is all public holidays only.

    I like to travel during holidays to save my annual leave but these days AA is not cheap anymore la. They used to be free fares and now it is history. Luckily I grabbed the free fares to few places!

      But then now wanna ponteng kiddy also have to ask the teacher for all the homework to do first coz if not when he goes back to kiddy the cikgu will give him all the back dated work. Kesian him

    Weekend for me is always valuable one, more for family, I will go exercise, cook and bake, go to the park with kids and etc. So, I really hate people jeopardize my weekends.

      I do not know how those house wives appreciate their weekends. I certainly appreciate my weekend to max. May be I am a working mother who always long for break. Only because of working, that make me look forwards to every weekend and public holiday.
