ReplyDeleteI thot can be first here today but Twilight Man beats me. xD
DeleteMorning everyone! :)

DeleteSalam Tea Time SOON! :D

ReplyDeleteHahahah... you are a bit early. I'm here!!! ;p
DeleteHellooo Lina! Yeah I was up at 7am to start working on computer today. So kesian me!
DeleteI start working at 8.30... been busy since. Now steal some time from my lunch.

Deletewah! Kian Fai so good one! I wish I have someone to drive me around when I wasa young. ;)
DeleteTwilight Man & Yvonne so darn hardworking. 7am, I not yet take shower owh! LOL
Delete@lina lol so you must be the eldest in your family? :P
Delete@Kian Fai,
DeleteYalor.... everything oso must do on my own. ;)
I want to see the paintings since you loved it. Take me there quick. Maybe I must look for Dayabumi building first and then the river banks.
ReplyDeleteThis wall murals painting concept is nothing new in overseas where it became tourist attractions. I heard the famous ones are in Bondi Beach - Sydeney and St.Antonio - Texas. Anyone been there to see?
ReplyDeleteIf the artists didn't paint on them, I guess that stretch of river banks will look boring and dead. Now it is alive! Hooray! Thambee can bring Kamala to stroll there while munching steamed nuts and jagung! Niak! Niak!
ReplyDeleteI suggest Thambee invite the bloggers there to paint our own subjects! We will become famous ok!
ReplyDeleteThe other day I went to cruise at Melaka's River Banks and saw such mural paintings too! They were in larger sizes using the back of the buildings as canvas. The river cruise was great and I loved the city and kampong view from river. You all must go too! Only RM10 ringgit - worth it.
ReplyDeleteWah! You make me so interested to go on the Melaka River cruise. :)
Delete想这类“艺术”要怎样maintenance呢?
ReplyDelete是过一段时间之后画新的吗?
如果只是一部分掉色的话,补上去不是很奇怪吗?
I do see a lot of these overseas..it's a creative art
ReplyDeleteat least look nicer
ReplyDeleteGraffiti must be done by the artists themselves and not some bandaraya people. It has to be from the heart, as self-expression. When we were in Europe, we see lots of beautiful (and some ugly) graffiti and each of them tells a story.
ReplyDeleteBut this is a great start lah. I agree with Twilight Man about the Melaka river cruise. I simply love the mural that tells the history of Melaka.
The blue background brings out the graffiti. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI admire those very creative artists too. I never an artist, but my girls are. Thank God.
ReplyDelete以前啲人系夜晚偷偷畫既...
ReplyDelete以前系Central Market影靚女相,用啲壁畫做背景,效果都幾唔錯下。
ReplyDeletethat's beside the river, often see people hanging around there, but didn't really take a look at the painting yet :)

I love the graffiti in Australia - their writings on the wall. Very witty, funny, very tastefully done. Always enjoy reading them in the toilets... LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI've seen some graffiti in my area too. The artists drew on the infamous Taiping zoo side-gate. Last year, they drew a alice-in-wonderland look-alike rabbit to represent rabbit year. This year they changed to a dragon :)
ReplyDeleteI should have take picture then. Beautiful arts ought to be apprieciated, right?
ReplyDeleteYes please! Share share! :)
DeleteWow got street art along the Klang River! Must be police tangkap those people who simply conteng the wall and ask them to do that at there LOL!
ReplyDeleteYes, they are very artistic and talented...
ReplyDelete畫得幾靚,我一直都好buy呢個舉止。難得可以通過,值得一讚!
ReplyDeleteooo 很就没搭LRT了,你不讲还真不知。。。
ReplyDeleteAnd good thing that the murals aren't painted with Government propaganda.... you know where in front of everything also got 1? xD
ReplyDeleteIf govt. do those, Waste of time and waste money on those color paint. Why not spend those money on helping those people who got no house to stay? lol
ReplyDeleteShould hire people like me and draw the wall, it would be more wonderful and more peaceful LMAO!
ReplyDeleteCome draw on my wall lah... I pay you with snacks. Can? ;p
DeleteNot snack please! I want Pasta :D
DeleteThose painter should learn art from me okays! lol I can teach FOC! (najib paying secretly lol)
ReplyDeleteI always think such creative art is amazing. And, I know that sometimes the artists are hired to paint walls of a building just to add some decoration on to the walls.
ReplyDeleteif given the budget and ample bright paint, then it's beautiful and should be appreciated. But there are som graffitis here which are just sprayed paint by vandals, that one not so cool. ehhe
