Good morning, SK.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's not polite but it happens, even to the best of us, no doubt. But you are right, we need to make an effort to remember the name saving ourselves the embarrassment of having to ask for it. Good point, SK.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful day ahead. Happy Sunday, SK!
Beautiful day indeed today! :)
DeleteGood Sunday morning SK!
ReplyDeleteAnd to everyone else too! All bangun already?:)
Yes, I think its rude to say that.
ReplyDeleteIf I can't remember your name, I usually just keep quiet about it and find a way to get your name without being obvious. xD
I'm bad with faces, but I am rather good with matching voices with names.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I talk too much on the phone. Hahaha
Got cases where I look like I'm friendly with some people and actually had no idea what their names are! Rude right? But I feel uncomfortable asking their names when they obviously know mine! LOL
ReplyDeleteIf I have to ask for names for the second time (and onwards), I ask someone else who know the person. xD
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, I second that. Will not ask that person again, but try to find out from 3rd party.
DeleteAs long as you can remember my name, ok lah! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I can't remember, I just avoid it...and carry on some idle chit-chat...and then go our own ways. Can't be somebody very significant if I can't remember his or her name. Hello...goodbye!
LOL! yeala!! If I forgot the person's name, i will definitely not asking whats ur name again ah? ( so embarrassing! )
ReplyDeletebut then, no such excuse as remembering name la! if met once only before, ok la can forgive but if more than twice, unforgivable!
ReplyDeleteif dnt remember full name, at least remember the nickname or surname la. aiyo.. :/
ReplyDeleteHAH I know one person always forgot some people name and call that people wrong name hahaha, kinda laughable and tease it :P
ReplyDeleteI will forgot the person name if I am not very close to him or her and didn't meet him or her in the long period unless . . . . he or she got good impression into my head :)
ReplyDeleteIf I call u SK SK SK would it be nice? Or call you S***man K** :P
ReplyDeleteu know some people keep on calling me Boss and dun wan call my name, in purposely way LOL
Just call him THAMBEE!!! It is polite and respectful to him..... LOL
DeleteI cannot call him Thambee la, Thambee means young brother? XD
DeleteGood night SK! I gonna KO myself soon . . . nothing special happen to me on my Sunday . . . and Monday and Tuesday gonna be dam interesting :)
ReplyDeletesooooooo...
ReplyDeletehow do you remember my name?!?!?!
You remember it by thinking of rat? dont even dare.. ahahahah
My memory deteriorated since age is catching up.
ReplyDeleteNot very good at remembering names, too.
ReplyDeleteChristian names are easier to remember, compares to actual full names.
ReplyDeleteAs to address my girl's classmates' parents, I usually go with, "Hi, Nicole's mummy, blah, blah, blah...". Does this sound rude? I don't want to remember which girl's + the mother's name. Scare I'll mix up the names and start calling wrong girl to her mother :p Unless I know them quite well.
ReplyDeleteFrankly I don't mind if someone I met once in a blue moon doesn't remember my name. Auntie here also the same, hihihi~
ReplyDeleteHmmm, sometimes human beings are forgetful la~ I think people won't mind if you say it politely ;)
ReplyDeleteI always forgets too
ReplyDelete有時候唔記得就係因爲對方實在太唔重要,點吓頭就算囖。
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I have a few buddies in gyms, which I have talked them for many times, we will greet each other like old friends in the gyms, but I don't know their names. I didn't ask them. I will sure know their names one day, if I hear others calling them. Hahahaha, I ask for people names also lazy.
ReplyDeleteI can remember English name easily but give me a chinese name and I tell you, after ten times also I wont get them right. I still cant get Ethan's teachers' name correctly and still refer them as the short hair one, long hair one to ethan as they all just sound the same to me -.-
ReplyDeletebtw, what's MY name? :P
true..we love people to remember our name..
ReplyDeleteYou idiot Thambee.... you called me Grandma instead of Anay!!!! Kaneeneh!!... Ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteMy memory is good with names! However many people forgot my name but not my size!
ReplyDeleteWe should wear name tags like the school kids today. That will save all the problems.
ReplyDeleteI know too many Jason, Eric, Michael and Gary! How come they don't mind sharing common names??
ReplyDeleteThe American scientists found out that playing the 4-Player Mahjong is good for our brains so that can exercise the memory functions well.
ReplyDeleteThe 3-Player Mahjong will not help much but make you greedy!
ReplyDeletei have hard times remembering names too... oh even faces as well... poor me
ReplyDeletebut if it's really necessary, i will not ask for their name and just greet them back immediately... but if they will ask some further questions, then i might ask deeper too to known them better
