Morning!
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon!!
DeleteTEA TIME :O
DeleteAlmost dinner time soon! LOL
DeleteI would've used the stairs even if the escalators not crowded. xD
ReplyDeleteThese people, soooo lazy
I don't mind using the stairs. It's a form of exercise and it's healthy~
DeleteNo wonder Malaysia has quite a number of obesity cases. Tsk, tsk....
DeleteTrue. Not only with stairs lah... Need to go to shop a few minutes away from home also, people drive/ride motorbike.
Deletehaha Malaysian depends too much on vehicle and dumb away healthy walking style . . . imma one of them :(
DeleteI have a post about escalators behaviour for my "Two Cities" post coming up. I wish I had a photo of Malaysian taking the escalators like yours!
ReplyDeletemalas wanna walk upstairs mah LOL
ReplyDeletesorry ah...these few day rather busy. No time for blog hopping. Hope you ave a great day :)
ReplyDeleteThis photo is good to show the contrast. Thambee, you got sharp and observant eyes laaaa!
ReplyDeleteand fast refles to take photos too.
DeletePlus I think thick-skinned to not shy doing it. hehehe
I would guess some folks were too fat or carrying heavy stuffs and had to take escalator. Not true!
ReplyDeleteIf they are fat, then climbing up the staircases is a good way to shed the fat~
DeletePlus, imagine those heavy stuffs as dumbbell. Climbing with them daily will surely lead to weight loss :)
Deletethat's right, Yvonne! ;)
DeleteFree exercise. No need go gym to use stairmaster. Just climb real stairs. ;)
This is people issue. No one tell the person who stand on the right to walk. This will not happen in those big cities. But Boleh city is exceptional. Next time just say "Excuse me!" eh~ if they still not go just ned to have a push... This happen in TOKYO.
ReplyDeleteI myself prefer walking down the stairs than upwards! My knees might ache if I climbed too many stairs. I would definitely avoid the crowded escalator like shown in the photo! The smell of so many body B.O.s and perfume plus sweat would throw me off the escalator. LOL
ReplyDeleteBO?? It would kill me instantly!!
DeleteIn all over Hong Kong city esp in Central, I guess they have the most escalators and walkalators in the world. The city folks could not simply cross the busy streets, so they had to use the bridges to connect everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThe use of a stair or an escalator is merely an individual choice - no right or wrong answer. The escalator is there and convenient so why not hop on. For those who feel the need to exercise can take the stairs but sometimes it can be rather taxing to the fittest among us to be taking a flight of stairs that is longer than usual just like the one at Masjid Jamek LRT station, if you've been there.
ReplyDeleteHowver, escalator-takers need to remember to stand on the left so that others can overtake and speed up their journey.
早安,malaysia boleh !
ReplyDeletelol, i see this at jamek everyday
ReplyDeletehey this looks so familiar.. i'm guilty sometimes. Prefer to just relax and take the escalator.. ><
ReplyDeletethis is some LRT Station right? XD Me think it is~!
DeleteIf I were there, I would sure use the stair case. SK, that can help burn fat. I love taking stair case and walk.
ReplyDeleteexactly! some people just so ignorant, worst are those when people said "Excuse me" and they still stand on the right blocking the way even though people are passing by them all the time. I wonder what happened to the education nowadays!
ReplyDeleteBananaz would take the stairs..~;).
ReplyDeleteI don't mind...going down! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteWahhaha.... Stand on left and walk on right?? I think it never will never happens...
ReplyDelete这是你拍到的吗?真的很好笑咯!一边是根本没人咧!!
ReplyDelete如果很高的话我会等Lift咯!老人家没力爬...LOL
Escalator is useful for older folks with knee problem like Twilight Man.
ReplyDeleteParents with young kids better watch out on the feet. Nanti kena di-makan escalator. With the huge crowds, usually there would be some pushing here and there.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Station LRT Dang Wangi Staircase is dam long and dam tall . . . will feel dizzy if walk on it lol . . .
ReplyDeleteIf too many people at escalator, I don't mind using staircase hahah
Sometimes people doesn't think much, just follow the flow and follow the crowd. Lika a mindless zombie follow a direction lol. Forgive them :P and you GO TO THE ESCALATOR! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh wait! Error Comment above LOL! Is you go to the staircase hehehe!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I in KL Sentral and rush for transit, I will use Staircase and run like a speed of light. (Macam bola besar rolling LOL)
now I am driving from my house to my work, cannot walk, need to take a day+ perhaps LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd no staircase or escalator unless shopping mall LOL
I always stand of left side while using escalator . . . then right side very less people run up or rush it lol
ReplyDeleteMe too! Unless got lots of people both left and right in front of me, then I stand in the middle! Just for the heck of it, because people behind me cannot walk up oso. hihi
Deleteoh i hate those who purposely block my way or walk very slow or keep on talking with his/her friend beside whilst blocking my way! considering am a pretty fast walker, q's make me lose my patience hahaha! and u'll know that malaysians are getting lazier and fatter bcos they dont like to walk, as evidenced by that pic. i'd definitely use the stairs upon seeing that. too foolish to q that long for the escalator while the stairs remain so empty!
ReplyDeleteahahaha... people who chose to take that long queue instead of using the stair are nothing but lazy people
ReplyDelete..... and i think i belong to them LOL
ReplyDeleteoh and the fact that you're taking this picture from queuing line.. means you don't like taking the stairs too??
ReplyDelete
