When others ask my age, I won't hide it. Just that sometimes I jokingly defend it.
ReplyDeleteI'm quite used to ppl calling me auntie, but man, sometimes I can't stand some young adults (mid 20s) call me auntie, too....
ReplyDeleteMe too! If people who already leave school call me auntie, I get miffed. What, they think they so young, meh? ;p
DeleteOmg happy birthday! If it's not your birthday, happy birthday anyway!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, you look really cool to me after seeing ur photos on fb. I mean it. You're not skinny but fit n healthy. I like ur photo taken near the Eiffel tower ;-)
Calling auntie/uncle or jie jie / gor gor should depends on the age differences.
ReplyDeleteFor example, if I'm older than you by 5 years, then must you call me aunty? I'm that old meh? Call me by my name sounds better.
We are commenting at the same time haha
DeleteHiii
Oh yeah!
DeleteBtw... Is there an award for a commentator with the least amounts of comments? Ahahaha cause I cant catch up the regular winners!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I trained my kids to call my friends (single/married) as uncle or auntie. No gor gor or jie jie... since other kids are calling me auntie, my same-age friends are no escape, muahahaha...
ReplyDeleteLOL. Me too!
DeleteDon't care single or not,all my friends are called "pakcik" or "makcik" or uncle/auntie by my son. ;)
Haish... so sad now that kids call me auntie. LOL
ReplyDeleteBut can't escape it. I won't insist people call me "kakak" now. Hihi
BTW, how old are you, exactly? ;)
ReplyDeleteI smell 32! :p
DeleteGuessing someone's age can be rather sensitive. What if we erroneously guessed someone is older that what she/he (but usually she lah kan?) actually is? Sure pout for one month!
ReplyDeleteOne of the senior manager in my office refused to have a 55th birthday party simply because she didn't want people to know she's already 55. Imagine that!
ReplyDeleteBut I do get rather sensitive when someone whom I think look so obviously older than I am call me Kakak! I am not that old!
ReplyDeleteActually, at work I rather prefer people (esp the non-Malays) to just call me by name instead of adding the "kak".
address as SK can ah?
ReplyDeleteNo moe dai moe sai oh if address as SK
ReplyDeleteIf I address you ask "Bro" then you address me as Uncle I shall give you a Super Power Hug LOL!
ReplyDeletegot people age 2-4years younger than me call me uncle, I feel so angry sometimes if I were in some busy mood or something lol
ReplyDeleteeven my dad called by some strangers around same age with dad, come on, at least call "boss! how are You" or something lol
ReplyDeleteOf course I got nothing to hide about my age, and better know my age in a good way.
ReplyDeletesome people dun expose his birthday and age because they scared kena vodoo! lol :P
哥哥順耳好多!哈哈哈
ReplyDelete不好意思哦!我也是其中一个不爱说出年龄的,哈哈!
ReplyDeleteMy age is never a secret. Age is just a number and my lucky number is 57! You have to call me popo! hehehe
I hardly called people uncle or aunty..I always say "Hello" or Ms/Mr to my customers.
ReplyDeleteYou are sporting, SK gor gor. Me too, don't mind people know my age, but I mind if the person older than me calling me aunty.
ReplyDeleteNo need worry about age, if you are well kept and well preserved. That's what I think.
ReplyDeleteBecause you are a man. You might think differently if you are a female...:-)
ReplyDelete一般上我的同学都是女的
ReplyDelete所以算起来她们的小孩都叫我阿姨~
还可以接受的说~~
I wish I am like you, so daring to expose your age!
ReplyDeleteMy problem is that when I told them my age -THEY FAINTED in disbelief!
ReplyDeleteThanks to my night and morning creams plus Face Lifting Gel... Ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteRecently some brainless idiots wished me HAPPY BIRTHDAY in my Facebook and revealed my age!!! "£$%"$@!!! I quickly deleted their comment!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger, I loved birthday parties! Now I try to disappear into thin air when my big day comes!
ReplyDeleteRecently, I wore shorts and Nike T shirt at the mall. Someone called me Ah Gor for directions. I was so happy and took him all the way to the restaurant!!! Ha ha ha....no more uncle for once!
ReplyDeletewhy refuse the age right if it's true??? that's my opinion too
ReplyDeletei think we should feel bad if they mistaken our age.. older than the real age... because it would mean that you look older for your age right haha
ReplyDeletei have an auntie who's now in her 50's but she looks like 30's and in that way she's very proud to mentio0n her real age haha
ReplyDeleteaging is something that we cannot control but at least we can do something to make us look younger right haha
