ReplyDeleteWah! So easy to cook a corn?
ReplyDeleteBut I don't have a microwave. ;)
But I thot the easiest way to eat them is to eat them raw! LOL
ReplyDeleteRaw? Want extra fiber for bowel movement?? Noo!!
DeleteThat's the idea! LOL

I like my corns steamed, by the way. ^^

ReplyDeleteJust like steaming.....love steamed corn. Ate some last week...
ReplyDeleteI always use corns when boiling soup. Is Wet kitchen roll same as cling wrap?
ReplyDeleteerr no no.. what i meant with kitchen roll is those paper, not those cling wrap, only paper can absorb water mah~~ :p
Deletesteamed with salt!
DeleteLove corns too, but too much will cause indigestion.. Hehe..
ReplyDeleteSweet corn eaten raw is also nice. Have you tried it? I normally steam my corns and then spread on some butter.
ReplyDeleteI recently received an email from a well-meaning friend. The email says results from studies show that microwaving food changes the molecular structure of the food which may not be suitable for our body. However, there are others who say they have been microwaving their food for many years now. To continue to use or not all boils down to our individual belief system, I suppose.
I like! Missus bought some today - getting them steamed and going to have them for tea later. Yummmmm!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhy la SK kor you hide the score! Make me sum si si only le! LOL!

ReplyDeleteHey, using microwaves is very harmful...! Your hair gonna start dropping before 40 and cancer cells start activating the minute you consume microwaved food or drinks. I am not scaring you ok.
ReplyDeleteWow....yours are really short cut. I only know the conventional method - steaming. My kids love sweetcorn too. For me, ok la....not really a fans of it. But if really need to eat, i have to apply lots of butter and dash some salt on it. very leceh hor.
ReplyDeleteOnce I bought fresh and raw corn in Cameron Highlands because I saw people eating them raw! It was damn delicious and sweet!
ReplyDeleteI haven't try consuming raw corn..... prefer mine steamed with pinch of salt, then I'll be feeling like in haven~~
DeleteIf you go Cameron, you try lah Yvonne. Nice, I tell you. ^^
DeleteSure won't cirit birit afterwards, Lina?? I want to enjoy the greenery in my CH trip, not seeing the 3 walls + 1 door in jamban.

Wah, sendiri tanam very healthy one~ Self-made fertilizer, kekeke!
DeleteI only love steam corn!! Don't like it boil coz the flavour lost in the water... alternatively, boil soup.. corn is just so my favourite!
ReplyDeleteWhen was the last time I eat corns that I sendiri masak? Ages.
ReplyDeleteEither buy it at Pasar Malam or enjoy it when eating western food, as a side dish. Lazy to steam just three corns. ;p
Jagung bakar also nice. ;)
DeleteBananaz lup corn, corn in ban-chang-kueh, corn in ABC, corn bun and anything with corn.
ReplyDeleteWalau eh!
