saw this sold in a convenience store the other day, those born in the 70s or 80s should remember this i believe?? i thought we won't see this anymore, hence i was rather intrigued out of a sudden, what could be the free toy inside the box now?? anyway it's just sold at RM0.90 a box, i still remember it was like RM0.60 a box 30 years ago, with the inflations (after inflations) all these years, that would be considered as cheap huh?? and so, i happily and curiously bought one box..

  5. No wonder it is selling at RM0.90, the content gets shrink, LOL! But I'm disappointed to learn that the chocolate biscuits is replaced with sweet. How pathetic... they ought to retain their signature-round-cheapo chocolate balls~

    1. Was it sold at RM0.60 back then? I thought it was RM0.50?

Anyway, kids nowadays are so spoiled they don't even bother to have Ding Dang chocolate anymore. They'll choose branded chocolate from the hypermarket.

    2. RM0.90cents to compare with RM4.50... which quality is better?

Nowadays, if you want better quality,we have to pay more.

    3. Even toys RM10 one you can only play one time - broken. The kids not even to bother to play anymore, so bored with it.

Unlike Lego, Transformers, Ben10, Kamen Rider, Fisher Price toys - costing me hundreds of dollars.

    2. And the things inside are so cool back then! Now, like you said, I am sure its a great disappointment. Things are getting expensive, so I am sure the stuff inside won't be as good as last time already.

      Delete
    3. So I am not surprise that you were disappointed la! Anyway, old stuff is still the best huh? We don't get what we got last time, but at least we got a good memory in our mind, right? Those were the days.......

    4. Recently, i found the bubble which in a tube and u need to blow with a mini straw-like stick. Only 10 cents n the kids were so happy.

  14. They are taking advantage of the human psyche, primarily the emotional aspect. There is this element of surprise and excitement as to the unknown inside the box. You, my dear, fell for it but what can I say! You are normal. haha..

  15. Good morning, SK and all! I might have seen this kind before. But not now. We don't sell it. What's that? A small yoyo? Maybe it's just meant for small kids with small fingers. :)

    6. I just had lunch with my accountant and told him that I often heard horror stories from my wife about how her students' parents brought them up. They spent money in most sinful ways and their families also got wrecked with rotten kids & broken marriages.

My conclusion: They have NO WISDOM!!!!

    7. Hot Mama has much Wisdom and knows how to make the best out of every dollar spent. I must also learn to shop my underwears and clothes online!
