03.09.2012 | 偷閑週末

[Volume 7 Issue 9, #1526]
it was long weekend again last week, have you been enjoying yourself?? i did nothing special, besides eat and sleep and slightly hardworking to hit the gym, i spent most of the time watching drama series!! because i have been busy lately and have left quite some series unwatched, hence took the opportunity of the long weekend to clear the "stock", haha!! watching the screen all the time may not be really relaxing, and we tend to get emotionally affected by some scenes.. but i really want to let my brain take a break (from the devil dissertation), hence i pampered myself and worry later.. maybe this is a right thing to do, when you've reached a threshold, there is really a need to let yourself escape from the reality, so that you can walk a longer distance afterwards.. it's monday again folks, let's pack our holiday mood and start working~~ :p

Ya, I guess all of us wish the best for your SK. Hopefully the dissertation have been kao tim 7788.

    2. HS always talk about the end of the world on 22th December, i think she pretty much believe this day is coming?? but no leh, my dissertation still not 7788 but i think 3344 only, at least not 5354 lah, haha :p

    1. Watching tv or go for movies is one of the ways to relax too. As for me, I have been playing games like sodoku, checkers and chess.

      Delete
    2. betul what Lina and Wenn said

After relax a bit the go back to it maybe can see the light at the end of the tunnel . things become clearer.

For Lina is running, for Wenn it's games and for SK is movie. For me it's reading. Nice to"escape" to another world.

Just finish two books. One zombie book and on vampire sort of book.

Sigh...wish the authors have more talents. Too much doomdays day prediction and the other one jumping on the vampire/wolf band wagon. Dont they have anymore original things to write about?

sometimes reading too much also sien

      Delete
    3. I prefer to do some cleaning, rearranging and dusting around the house :)

Not really into books or movies - watching movies is okay but too much, nah, I would feel I'm wasting time sitting in front of the idiot box.

    4. Cleaning , rearranging and dusting ah? come come Yvonne. Come my house. Help me to clean, arrange and dust.

My head "one head all mist"(Yat tau mou shui) trying to think how to pack up those unnecessary stuffs to make more space. Pening to the max liao

  4. I didn't do much either during this long weekend.

Mooched around the house. Sleep, eat and read books (Murakami's, if anyone interested to know... not the hamsap book Meow e-mailed to me. wakaka) and go out once to Alamanda because hubby wanted to get a new shoes.

    3. I was traveling a little bit to Ipoh. April was taking part in ping pong tournament in Ipoh. I got to meet up with my sister in Ipoh for a dinner.

I went to gym after coming back from Ipoh.

Merdeka day, I went for a Japanese dinner with April's Ping Pong coach.

Overall, it was a nice weekend for me, as I had a good time with family and friends.

Now, I have to force myself back to reality. A very cruel one with a long list of outstanding job. Sigh!

      Delete
    4. Wah your break is pack full of activities leh.

You drove up to Ipoh and come back still have energy to go for gym ah? very good wor.

That is usually the case after a long holiday. Monday would be pretty hectic. Customers and boss chasing till the pants/skirt also wanna tanggal

    5. Murakami books can be a bit weird.

      But I like them.

      I don't read chick-lit normally anyways. xD

    4. My parents are not big size, my mum is tall, all my siblings are quite tall too. I am very glutton. So I tend to get fat easily. I have maintained my weight by doing exercise and eating balance diet. You are lucky, Meow, you can afford to eat and stay slim. So envy you.

      Delete
    5. then i think some exercise will do for you la Yan. No need to be so harsh on yourself. Unless you say your parents are big size

      Delete
    6. Small or big size, working out is good.

For one, to build and have stronger muscle. I like being strong. :)

And being active and healthy can prevent us from catching any sickness easily.

      Delete
    7. I agree with lina, exercise can keep fit and stay young. I do not want to stop exercise and I just want to stay active all the time.

      Delete
    8. yeah, actually going to the gym or not it's personal preference lah.. there are still a lot of places that we can actually work out ourselves, not necessary the gym lah.. outdoor activities also good wat~~ :)
