02.09.2012 | 膽小馬騮

[Volume 7 Issue 9, #1525]
it's the 7th month of the chinese calendar, when fing-fing heard everyone saying this is the hungry ghost month, he becomes a scared chimpanzee.. he is so scared he need to cover himself with blanket when watching horror film at home, and especially afraid of funerals nearby until he finds other path to bypass and do not dare to sleep at night.. but fing-fing's daddy says, grown up and no more fear, we are all actually existing in the same place but just within different dimensions, if we can respect each other and do not cross the line, it always can be a harmony co-existence.. actually the 7th month of lunar calendar is to pay tribute to the spirits, perhaps it's those many who had exaggerated some strange incidents that have blurred the actual purpose.. namo amitabha :)

Good afternoon, SK, everyone! You too, Fing-fing. Yeah, the 7th month can be a scary month. But then again, any month can be scary with your Papa's scary band of bloggers haunting his blog. Oops! (I mustn't say that because they'll haunt even more..)

  3. I totally agree with your daddy, fing fing. we ate not alone in this world, and auntie linsad doesn't mean aliens.

We do share this world with other beings, animals, plants, spirits... We need to learn to co-exist harmoniously with each other.

Ps fing fing... You like to watch a horror movie? :-D

      SP,
How you rescue fui fui from scary movie storyline ah? Tangan go hug where exactly? kekeke

      Delete
    5. hahaha, i think it's the other way round for SP lah.. he brings girls to watch horror movie, but instead he is the one who scared and hide his head under the girl's papaya~~ like that also works ok?? :D

      Delete
    6. Meow, guys can't get any advantages by bringing girls to watch horror movies. The most is, the girls will scream their heads off and hold the guys' arms tightly and leave bruises on it :p

And nowadays most girls are very daring, dare to sit through the horror movie, let out some panic mode in between only.

      Delete
    7. wakakaka......Yvonne, you got note SK comment above or not? Oohhh thats why SK and his sekutu brings girls watch horror movie la. Wanna eat papaya leh...

Yvonne...later salah grab , not grab the arms...habis cerita...no more future generations .....

      Delete
    8. yalah, now that girls are not timid anymore, they instead know the excuse behind guys bringing them to horror movie.. hahaha!! that's why some guys acted the opposite way, act scared and hide under the papaya~~ :D

  4. Why Fing Fing so scared at home? SK must be the only one talking all the scary stories! Not me......

    1. Yalah, must be SK lah go and scare-scare fing fing until scared.

Who else want to tell ghost story to fing fing?

      tsk tsk SK. ;p

    2. Good morning, TM and Lina!
Fing-Fing is scared of the ghost month? Never fear as your daddy is there with you.

      Delete
    3. Very suspicious post. I am wondering whether it is the daddy that is scared or it is fing fing scared.

fi.g fing watching scary movie or is it the daddy who watch.wanna watch and wanna scared.. I think fing fung would b watching banana in pajama rather than watching scary movie la. hence must be the daddy who does that

      Delete
    4. Which banana in pyjama are you talking about Meow?

The cartoon one or the batang, asli one? wakaka

      Delete
    5. hehehehe, it's up to you to guess whether it's the daddy or the daddy when young lah.. actually can guess quite obviously what.. but then one thing, i think it's very common with everyone that the more they scared the more they want to watch!! hahaha~~

      Delete
    6. I reckon fing fing's daddy is the one who scared him badly. Being a parent, we tend to warn our children (unknowingly scare them) sometimes, like, "If you misbehaved, the closet monster will look for you tonight".

I'm guilty of doing that, but I don't mention "monster", I merely say "the bad fella".... and they are still afraid, especially darkness.

      Delete
    7. LOL.....what for Fing Fing watch the ori one? Of course la the cartoon one. If ori one sure Fing Fing wont watch already. sure sudah masuk mulut :p

Yvonne, ya lor it's the parents fault. Usually the parents scare the children

But then now also got TV fault la. a lot of nonsens e in ttv.

Like my son. He was not scared of ghost and monster punya but a few months ago when lights out, he dare not go out of the room. Asked him why? he said got monster/ghost outside. We tarak teach him about ghost and moster. Guessing it's from the tv. those caryoons. say got monster in the closet and stuffs like that

      Delete
    8. yalah, very true with what yvonne have said.. normally it's the parents that have threatened or scared the kids with all those ghosty things that leave phobia in them.. hmm, actually not good huh?? we should try to explain the real thing actually.. :)

I don't want to ask for number. I rather have a peaceful night (and day).

Told the rest so they turned back...when they reached the place, none could see except that guy - so scared he fainted!!! His "uun" very low, they say.

  23. In my house, my kids don't really feel scared, as we filtered most of the ghost and horror stories from them.

Mak Yan is the on who scared most, as I know this month has the highest death rate, and accident rate.

    6. hehehehe, that means Mak Yan is the one who is scared lah.. that's why she said she "filtered" all the horror movies from her princesses so that they won't be scared.. yalah, very true lah, i think sometimes we just think too much.. most importantly is behave ourselves and try to be moderate, and then respect each other.. that should be fine i guess.. :)

  24. 2 more weeks to go to 8th lunar month. I just treat the 7th month as another month, don't think too much of it and don't curse, in case we might "tak chui" some restless spirits.
