[Volume 7 Issue 7, #1462]
really not having good fortune recently, after spending for my HK trip (and not winning any money from macao), while waiting for my credit card bills, i now have two penalties to pay.. am RM300+ poorer now~~ :(
the inland revenue board found a mistake in my tax filing for year 2007, and immediately sent me a letter to ask for top-up.. it's so long ago yet they still want to look back, our country really runs out of money to spend huh?? anyway, i'm paying that because my trick didn't work, haha!!RM235.69
must have been blinded the other day when i issued a cheque to pay for my credit card bill, only after the due date that i realised i have not signed on the cheque!! so the bank has all reasons to penalize me for both late and financial charges.. what's more that bill came to be the highest balance for the month to-date.. ouch!! this is really a pain in the S!!RM85.43

  24. Back in the late 90s I remembered the well known PB made a silly mistake when I banked in a small cheque bat RM1k only. After my cheque was cleared, my ATM showed additional RM10K. I was shocked and confused.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I told my colleagues and friends about it. They were all more excited and suggested that I closed the account and withdraw all the money out. They said it was not my fault and the bank had no right to charge me......

    ReplyDelete
  26. Nah! Nah!.....they called my office and house phone so many times as I had no mobile phone then.... Goodness, I had to go over and sign so many forms to verify their mistakes!! The teller mixed up the cheques and realized it when the other account holder filed complaints for getting poorer.
