Me too...
DeleteBetter go read the content first. All I noticed at first glance was SK posting about haircut? ;p
Ya, he posted about his hairstylist evolution, first one is his mama~
DeleteMy Son hair was cut by hubby when he was a toddler. Now, pegi kedai Amoi to cut. LOL
DeleteMy children's hair is maintained by my mother :)
DeleteCan tell her whatever styles I wan and it's free XD XD
Lina, your son goes to kedai Amoi to have his hair styled. No Indian barber? Luxury, eh~~
DeleteKakaka...
DeleteAmoi cut like Chinese school kids mah... ;p
LOL...kiasu to the max ya ...the content about hair la
Deletenot bad wor. SK have hair stylist.
DeleteI don't remember that my mum cut my hair.. all the while is indian barber...
DeleteSP, your mom won't dare to cut your hair maybe because you can't sit still! Later bulu kening also kena trimmed!
DeleteWah... SK got his own hair-stylist kah?
ReplyDeleteSo.... stlyo. wakaka
That Thambee SK used to find Muthu his Indian barber from Madras! Cut and chop hair with parang one till slope up behind his neck one....
Deletehahaha .. or use a coconut shell and put on the head and cut as accordingly...
DeleteLina,
Deletenow guys are more stye lo milo than girls lo. They go saloon one round at least spend RM150
I don't have my own hairstylist. I just visit whoever's cheap :p
ReplyDelete*my usual stingy mode*
I used to go to the same girl over the years but then, she moved to Seremban and opened her own shop. Cannot go there for my haircut. Too far. Habis minyak.
DeleteNow, still looking for someone decent (and can borak2 with me while cutting my hair).
My hair is long... and getting longer because I only visit salon once a year.
DeleteMy hubb, on the other hand, visits salon every month (a monthly thing, like SK said) so sometimes I will tag along to have a hair cut / hair treatment / perming / coloring and have him to pay the bill :D
DeleteSave cost... no need to cut so often. ;p
Deleteya, can save some money if we only cut once in a while.
Deleteeh the X-Cut pretty cheap leh. Go 4time free one time
DeleteYvonne same here la me also visit salon once a year.
DeleteAM stingy mah. some more keep straight hair. easy to manage
Meow, X-Cut in KL, is it? Haiyoh.... got branches in my area or not?
DeleteVyonne duno about your area lo. But X-cit is one of the fraichse la. Got many more. some RM12, RM13 and bla bla bla...mostly in shopping complex
DeleteFor me, up to my early twenties, I settled for a haircut that cost less than RM15.
ReplyDeleteNowadays, cannot go to neighbourhood salon already. Must go to stylish place that cost me a BOMB to cut my hair!
Because... the technique not the same wor... ;p
Hair cut here cost only RM15.
DeleteHair cut in Taiping now cost at least RM25 (stylist just won some awards) and the most expensive is RM35 - only hair cut and hair wash not included!
DeleteI thought Taiping cost is cheaper! My mum used to tell me.
DeleteWe still can get cheaper rate ones.... I go to the house-operated stylist, RM7 - RM10 for the hair cut :D
DeleteQuality wise, of course we can't ask for more :)
DeleteWah! Taiping so cheap lah...... Let's drive a car pool and fetch all bloggers for a CUT & EAT trip!
DeleteAiyoh! So cheap lah Yvonne!
DeleteMy cheapest cut is RM48. Got one very stylo place at Gardens Mall (great service, great cut too) is at RM70 for normal cut. Die pay to cut my hair. kakaka
wei where got so cheap leh !!!
Deleteover hear touch only already RM50. Scary
TM- i tumpang can ah LOL
Wh you guys pernah go and buy those discount cupon things for hair cut and coloring ka?
DeleteDuring CNY i Was really tempted but chicken out
RM70 for a hair cut?? Cut my throat, Lina~ :p
DeleteOr come, I cut for you, 10% discount - I accept RM63.
My mama was my hairstylist until I completed Form 6. Then I went to KL to further study and mama was not beside me, I need to scout for new hairstylist.
ReplyDeleteFirst encounter with an 'outside' hairstylist cost me RM40!! and I was only a poor student T___T
DeleteWhen I was in boarding school, I just cut my own hair. Short hair mah... senang. Just snip away! LOL
DeleteOr, ask friends to cut it. I cut hers. She cut mine. ;p
O.O you be the stylist for your friend and vice verse? Hahaha, I remember helping my friend to trim his long hair once, because he can't get into the university admin office for official purpose, hah!
DeleteLong hair kena banned!
Actually not difficult to cut. :)
Deletemy dad is my first ever haircutter hehe
DeleteMy hair was being done by Indian barber who always powdered me all over when my hair finished tebang by him. I remembered his talcum powder was Himalaya Brand which was cooling.
DeleteThe indian barber who cut my husband's hair used Holiday On Ice powder. Smell nice la!
DeleteIn fact, those Indian barbers do a good job too.
Deleteso nice ah Lina. Can help each other cut hair.
DeleteMy mom was my hairstylist also.
Those himalaya and holiday on ice powder~ so nostalgic. Must go hunt them in supermarket already.
DeleteNext time cut my children's hair, pour these over.. hehehe~
I normally use Johnson2 powder.
eh notthe what the name ah...the lavender powder meh ....
DeleteGood morning, Yvonne and Lina!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, wenn!
DeleteMorning gals! :)
DeleteGood afternoon :p
Deletegood evening, Small kucing!
DeleteI usually have the same hairstylist unless I feel she's not good anymore.
ReplyDeleteI had a few hairstylists already..
ReplyDeleteRecently I have found a new one. She has gain my trust.
ReplyDeleteso you really had a haircut huh
ReplyDeletewell you haircut on your previous shots was okay enough i mean i actually envy those guys who are capable of having short hair
Deletehaha i used to trust some guy to cut my hair but i end up disappointed well im just to fussy about my hair
Deletehappy bloggin sk
DeleteGood morning, ME coy!
Deletegood morning, wenn
DeleteShe will just cut my hair and I will keep the former one for my hair coloring.
ReplyDeleteyou are not scared the former one jealous ah? Some get jealous coz did not go back to them for trimming and stuffs like that
DeleteI used to take my boy to the Indian barber when he was young. Now that he's older, he goes on his own.
ReplyDeleteAlmost every boy visited the Indian barber at least once in their life :D My dad still goes to Indian barber now.
DeleteMy hubb had this Indian barber until he was in his teens and then started looking for 'upgraded' stylist when he reached young adult.
Sometimes my hubby still goes to the Indian barber.
DeleteWenn, my husband goes to Indian barber all the time. Hahaha!
DeleteYan, your hubby is good and practical. Better save money and give Yan instead of pay to stylists! My idiot male friends could spend RM150 just for hair cut! They choose that London trained hair stylist from Vidal Sassoon school..... I see no glam or special since my friend already fugly looking! Muahahahaha....... Just kidding.
DeleteYa lo! Perhaps my husband goes to Indian Barber also looks more handsome than your friend who goes to Vidal Sasson. Kakakakak!
DeleteTM, RM150 for the hair cut + hair blow + get massaged by the pretty sexy stylist ;)
DeleteMy girl told me she wants to be a makeup artist and hair dresser.... so I think this career is not bad, RM150 per head :D
DeleteCut 3 heads and her daily wage is higher than her mama's (provided she's the tauke-soh)!
Yvonne...ni belum add Bridal make up leh. That one lagi good biz.
DeleteLast time people say those who cannot get good grades in school go learn cutting hair. But now even those who can learn also wanna go for hair styling. More $$ and less stress
My boy refused to have his hair cut by the Indian barber and would yell his heart out..haha
ReplyDeleteWenn, your boy got very expensive taste la!
Deletehe was only 1 year old then..
DeleteWenn, for a moment there i thought u mean now he also yell kakaka...
DeleteMine too at first was scared of the indian barber but the the Papa sat down and have the hair cut first. Then he say he also wanna follow. Idolise the father mah.
Now, masuk barber shop aje he no probem liao...syok syok climb on to the chair liao
I remembered I used to cut my brother's hair.
ReplyDeleteSaved some money for him as he was rather stingy to pay the barber.
ReplyDeleteAnd I also cut my girl's fringe when she was younger.
ReplyDeleteI do have a long term hair stylist.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Yan!
DeleteGood morning, Wenn and everyone.
DeleteShe could be my number 20th or more hair stylist.
ReplyDeletefor me, uncountable..
DeleteI changed a lot of hair stylist before I settled with this one, cheap and good one.
ReplyDeletemy new hairstylist asked me to cut short but I dare not. :)
DeleteI am quite adventurous, I dare to try different hair stylists.
ReplyDeleteI am quite scared to go for different hairstyles.
DeleteMy hair grows fast, so I don't scare to try different hair style, it grows long quite fast.
DeleteI'm not adventurous. My hair is very thin - I can't afford to lose any strand of hair, lol!
DeleteI had permed my hair before but not anymore.
DeleteI love perming my hair too, but my husband warned me before. He doesn't want me to look like his mom.
DeleteHahaha, most guys don't like partners with permed hair. I'm gonna post a question here to all male readers - Do you prefer your gf /wife with straight silky hair or curly / wavy hair. Which is sexier?
DeleteI can see Yan's hair in the profile got style one! Like Korean actress pula.... Kakakakakakaka
DeleteWah! Thanks for the compliment TM. I can't sleep tonight.
DeleteIt depends on how the hair is being permed.
DeleteI never really care what my hubby think. I just do what I want. kekeke
Deletesalute you wor Yan for being adventurous. Me not so adventurous.
DeleteI have perm hair before but found that its hard to take care. straight hair easier to managed
Deletestraight hair is definitely easier to manage.
Deleteby the way have you searched for the right haircut for different face shapes?
ReplyDeletei found this on net this might help http://coolmenshair.com/2008/04/choosing-right-hairstyle-for-your-face.html
Deletesometimes it won't do. Need a real hairstylist.
DeleteI tried that method, but it won't last. I mean, I'm so lazy to analyze hence I leave everything to the stylist, haha~
DeleteThanks for the link Mecoy, I will try later.
DeleteThis current one, I have been going there for more than 3 years. In between, I tried 2 new hair stylists, but I still came back to her at the end.
ReplyDeleteIn these 3 to 4 years, we have become best friend.
ReplyDeleteya, my hairstylists become my friends too.
DeleteWhen I was small I used to tag with my mum to perm parlors in her hometown in Thailand! Walau eh..... All the hair dressers are terrible sei pat phor and worst gossip queens in town! .......
DeleteMy mum complained their mouths and cannot be best friends BUT she still frequented same saloon! Apa la.....
DeleteTM, your mum's complain made sense. Hair stylists and beauticians receive lot of information and send out lot of information too.
Deletetrue..they gossip a lot too..
Deletetrue true...they talks a lot. which i dont like. I prefer to get it done fast and cabut.
Deletesame goes for the beauty saloon. Hate it when the girl who massage me talk and talk and talk....i go there to relax but terbalik she kasi stress. and worst is promote their product
I go for hair cut once a month too, because i have short hair style, which needs trimming in a month time.
ReplyDeletetrue..short hair needs trimming regularly.
DeleteI have kept short hair for more than 8 years, I feel like having a change now. I feel like keeping my hair slightly longer than my chin.
ReplyDeleteShoulder length hair is rather difficult to manage too.
DeleteI hope I can bare with the ugly hair style for a few months, before I go for trimming again. Wish me luck!
DeleteLonger hair looks more feminine. What say you?
DeleteI sokong you, Yan! Must grow your hair long up to your chin, is that you half-year resolution??
DeleteThanks Yvonne, yes, that my 2nd half year resolution. You know well. Hehehe!
DeleteYou need to be patient while waiting for it to grow longer.
DeleteI know that longer hair means more shampoo, water and electric bills in my house! Kakakakakakaka
DeleteMy husband who sweeps the floor one will make noise also.
DeleteGrow longer hair la Yan.
DeleteBut sometimes very slow to wait for it to grow :(
I had a barber, sat on planks...and then I progresses to hair salons and hair stylists...
ReplyDeletehahaha .. me too..
Deletelast time I am shorty.. they put a plank on the chair...
In the 80s, went to an Indian barber in Bukit Bintang (no more there) and he splashed some cologne on me - so smelly. Had to go straight back to take a bath to get rid of the stench!
ReplyDeleteLOL.... I remembered Kena once too. They used rose fragrant cologne called Eau De Madras!! Kakakakakakaka
DeleteMy hair also long already... Time to get it cut...and these days, I would also get a shampoo plus head and back massage. Ahhhh!!!! So nice!
ReplyDeleteenjoy u la you. Go salon or the mamak barber?
DeleteSpam more ladies and gentlemen, before Kuching meows.
ReplyDeleteyawn...too tired today to meow la
DeleteMeow Meow, tired also can spam so much, if not tired, then how?
Deleteif not tired then muhahahahahhahahaha....*super evil laugh*
Deletemaybe can talk more than those people in the hair saloon
I actually prefer barber shop than salon hehe
ReplyDeletenot really picky when it comes to hairstyle too .. anything that would suit me will do haha
ReplyDeletethough I can say that my hair is very versatile LOL because I can do a lot of things to it with the help of my hairgel.. I can go spike, oasis, one side, and more LOL
ReplyDeleteguys usually can manage their hairstyle easily as it's always short. :)
Deleteya lor,..guys hair are easier to manage la
Deleteyes, having the same hairstylist is very important for me... hehee.. then I don't have to tell them what style I want, and they will do their job.. hehee.
ReplyDeletevery true..they already know what you want.
Deleteoh yeah me too.. though I didn't hire him personally but I always make sure that the certain hairstylist will fix my hair. if he's not there, then I will move my schedule to another day
ReplyDeleteI don't know but most of them says that gays and females are better haircutters because they appreciate fashion the mosst and they will surely give you the best look.. though haven't tried dealing with them yet
ReplyDeleteFemale stylists got lesser patience compared to gay stylists! If you handsome, the gay stylists will play your hair and give free massage ! LOL
DeleteI agree gays have better fashion sense.
DeleteI hvn't tried guy/gay hairstylist before.
DeleteI definitely would go for gay stylist XD
DeleteThey are so gentle and patient and better sense of fashion, er, up-to-date.
As for female stylist.... some are bitches and snobbish!
ya gay more gentle.
DeleteGosh...the last round i went to shampoo my hair. ..siap kena shampoo by my hair stylist punya daughter..her claws are sharper than mine....grrrrrrrr....
her bro wash hair is much gentler
For guys, hair cut is a monthly thing.. But for girls, not sure.. hehe..
ReplyDeletefor girls, can keep even for a year or so if it's long..
DeleteMe..i go to hair saloon once a year
DeleteYeah, a bad haircut is what most of us want to avoid, so a trusted hairdresser is important.
ReplyDeletebad hair cut will really spoil our day!
Delete冇錯。有固定嘅理髮師固然好,不過我成日搬來搬去,無奈地必須要更換。只好抱住,新人士新火花嘅形態囖。
ReplyDeleteMy evolution is no evolution. I go to those quick cut places where they cut in ten minutes. My life is that hectic you see.. haha..
ReplyDeleteI jumat a lot of money from not going to hair stylist during school days. Just need to trim the fringe. Mom does that LOL
ReplyDeletewould you believe by the time am in form 6, my hair was as long till reach the floor?
ReplyDeleteWah!! x_x
DeleteYour hair was THAT long?? Got masuk malaysia guinness book of record or no?
Eh, meow tipu one...
DeleteJust now comment today no mood to spam, but scroll down and saw so many comments from her :p
Whoh Meow.... how you manage hair so long one???!!!!
DeleteMe cannot tahan one.
I agree with Yvonne about that no mood to spam. See I scroll scroll down see more Meow's comment! LOL
anyway had to cut that when come out to work . Even then didnt have a fixed hair stylelist
ReplyDeleteFinally my boss intro one hair stylist and I stick to the same hair stylist till now
ReplyDeleteyes, I have gone to other hair stylist but end up also come back to the same one
ReplyDeleteI tried the fast cut. But doesnt suit me. There was one or two that is good la but the last one i went to was horrible. Lesen lembu. No more fast cut for me
ReplyDeleteJust in case you guys are not aware that our hairs are made from our own blood therefore we must have healthy blood and it will show on your head lah!
ReplyDeleteClearly you are trying to trick us, TM.... hair is not made from blood, it's made up of keratin and water....
Deleteyes, I googled it up XD
That google is western theory la... Adoi how come you dunno one? Try to ask those Chinese Medical shops and they can testify. I am quite sure I heard and read it few times.
DeleteI hope all ladies will always drink Yomeishu everyday from middle age till old. It will keep your lungs and hair healthy!
ReplyDelete*(I curi curi drink my wife's Yomeishu too! Kakakakaka! Sssh!)
TM, no need to steal, just tell her that you need to feel energetic, alert, and active all day long. She will give you the whole bottle of Yomeishu. kekekeke! All women like their husbands energetic, alert and active right?
DeleteSo very true!.....ahem!
DeleteEhemmmm!!! LOL
DeleteI drink Yomeishu sometimes because it contains over 100 ingredients that will definitely make me alert and energetic besides moisturizing all my internal organs! (I know I sound like pregnant lady! )
ReplyDeleteTM is really health freak la! I prefer drinking DOM than Yomeishu.
DeleteI can't drink yomeishu or DOM. I'll get headache, toothache, whateverache after consuming it 3-4 days T__T
DeleteDOM is too strong la... My mouth will catch fire and mabuk fast!
Deletewooow it took me a long time before i get to see the comment input box... people in here are so active in putting their comment.
ReplyDeleteI cut my hair... :)
Have a great week Sk
Yeah, my mom used to cut my hair also. And I hate getting my hair cut. Such a hassle!!!
ReplyDeleteThen just like you, when bigger, went to the Indian barber
ReplyDeleteNow also I go to my usual hairstylist to cut hair. And I do it every 3-4 weeks.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I think I know why you suddenly talk about hair. You are inspired by someone's blog right? Haha!!
ReplyDeleteEh, why click on the Reply link above cannot one? Want to add some comments to the other people's comments also cannot? Boo hoo!
ReplyDeleteBecause the system don;t allow Panda to spam! kakaka
Deletemy hairstylist evolution? become more expensive and expensive when it was in my childhood lol
ReplyDeleteI remember let this uncle cut is RM 15, then become RM 20, then I older adi it become RM 30 zzz it is in subang area thou, and this uncle that time is abang, slowly open 2nd saloon and more
DeleteFrom chinese hairstylist I change to indian hair stylist . . .
DeleteI cut my hair 2months + later 1 . . .
my hairstyle is petak / segi empat lol
Well now I dunno where should I cut my hair, coz I shifted my office and my long term hairstylist gone liddat . . .
ReplyDeletemaybe next time I hang out at PJ, will go nearby Taman Megah area and cut it lol
