[Volume 7 Issue 2, #1332]
the government is happily giving away money recently to please the people.. i initially thought getting this RM200 book vouchers needs long-winded and tedious processes, so i did not take action.. until a classmate (she's also working in the college part-time) told me, then only i know we do not have to apply but the vouchers have already been distributed to all academic institutions.. come to think about it, i've been paying taxes for the past ten-plus years, this RM200 is maybe just a sliver of meat from a whale's body, it's stupid not to get it right?? :p

  10. Oh yes, all can be done easily, hassle-free.

Unlike the olden days when we wanted to apply for these 'special stuffs', we need to go through a long procedures with lots of (powerful) witnesses signature. Then, need to wait for it to get approved or appeal when rejected.

  54. Our imported books are supposed to be tax free yet the readership habit is bad in our country. Giving them free vouchers may not encourage them to read more. Yes they will spend lesser on books by using voucher. Some fellas exchanged for lesser cash since they get book loans.
