as i have said before, the food photos that i have taken are usually left inside my camera or folder, until one day when i have nothing to blog about, they come in handy, haha!! so here i have randomly picked four photos and started to write some stories about the food, errr, it's story telling and not really foodie post wokay?? hope you enjoy it and have a great weekend ahead~~ :)

    1. Pic 1: Yes, sometimes if jelak liao spaghetti cooked in cream sauce or tomato bolognaise sauce, can try soupy style.. If all things fail that day or having a bad hair day, just whip up miso paste, mixed with hot water, boil spaghetti, throw in some vegetables or balls or crack an egg, and you have soupy spaghetti style, keke..

      Delete
    2. Pic 2: Simple fried bihun, I think you can whip up yourself also.. Fry with garlic or shallots, add your taugeh or cabbage, then meat or yue peng or yue dann or whatever, then throw in your favourite bihun, add soy sauce, pepper, if wana cheat, can mix some Tumix chicken granules for taste, stir stir stir, kautim lor.. That's the simplest thing I know.. My sister teach one.. Nothing else but soy sauce and pepper (and water)..

  21. The first one, spaghetti soup, very interesting! I hardly see people cook spaghetti with soup one, the wet style (or may be it was me who is jakun la :P), so this one really attracts my attention! And with those little touch up and editing that you made, that bowl of spaghetti soup looks really appetizing.

    1. Bee hoon, my favorite noddles! It's less oily so it's healthier! I prefer dry style than soup ones, so Singapore fried beehoon, teow chew fried beehoon and etc are those I'll order, anything 'fried' la! And don't you agree prawn go so well with beehoon? ;)

    2. Oh, you've been to Barcelona too? I was there in 2008, a year earlier than you, hehe! But I don't really enjoy that trip very much, I mean the scenery (especially that magnificent Sagrada Familia) is nice and beautiful but the food.... hmm, not to my liking, and not many shopping as well, hoho!

      Delete
    3. And OMG the last photo, you cooked those fried rice yourself? Very interesting, looks very professional lo! Some more scoop those rice in a bowl first, haha xD
Ya la, if one seldom get into the kitchen doesn't mean he cannot cook at all. Some people just being lazy, or shall I say, they prefer to eat someone else's cooking rather than cook it themselves, hehe!

  22. Long ago everyone knew that we could not access the blogspot from China no matter how we tried. Now it has changed and I could just log into via mobile phones and iPad easily. When I could not reads blogs recently in shanghai and xian, I felt something missing in my life. I am not sure whether this connection is only valid in Chengdu??

I have tried the Sichuan spicy hot pot and it caused me nose block last night during my sleep with added mild gum aches. That was a fiery flaming meal that heated up my torso.

I love to eat fusion meals like what you have posted. Times have changed and chefs are trying hard to create new exotic dishes to catch our fancy. You are the second person who says that missed the food in Barcelona. That guy told me the food in Spain was the best in Europe! I was amazed.

    1. #1 Photo:
I think I know this place, Pasta Zanmai. I love to had their noodles and rice platter with Fusion style. Alot of people queueing up when I was at Sunway's outlet. That was my first visit. After that, I've been there again. All together only twice. :P

Spaghetti is more healthier than yellow noodles. Even myself seldom take unless for noodles like Hokkien Mee, Mee Mamak and Mee Rebus - takkan I would order for BeeHoon or KeowTeow right? Back at home, hubby used Spaghetti in fried noodle. It taste yummy too. Once a while he will prepared it during the weekend.

Besides Kewo Teow, I love BeeHoon or called it in proper vermicelli. It is simply delicious with only a few ingredients. My mom once told that, in order to fried a good plate of BeeHoon, must get better quality one. Or else it will easily break during the cooking process. Somehow, I still need to brush up my skill to fried them. Most of the time, my BeeHoon easily got chopped...not so nice one. I love to have "Xing Zao Mai Fun" or some will called Singaporean Fried BeeHoon. Malay's fried beehoon I like it too...I think they put in the tomato puree. So some of warong here selling a bungkus for RM1 only.

SK been to Barcelona lor...good for you. Different places have different kind of ways to present the food to the customer right? You can always gather a bunch of friends to your house, makes some food, snack and etc. All you can do is to be creative in skewing all the fishballs together, cocktails sausages slice into hald and pin it together and make it into a love shape. Make many layers of sandwich, stack up and pin it with skewers and called it your homemade club sandwich. Hehehe... Even prawns, bell peppers, onions, pineapple all can be skew it and ready to be grill...wow sounds best nya. I think I better come over your house to help you to prepare.

Dun play play, SK can really cook very well. That fried rice looks very cute to me. Maybe it's the way you present it. Nice lar, I'm sure those who taste it also feel the warmest cooking from you, SK. The fried rice is vene more appertizing than the previous post you combine all the veges, ebikko with white rice. I prefer this alot.

  24. I was actually tempted by all these four food pictures. I like the first one the most, It is from Pasta Zanmai, this place reminded me of only happy moment last year in December. First time, I met Ah Boy, Anay, Kathy and SP, second time met Lina. Thank you once again for the meet up.

I love Pasta Zanmai food. Since then, I haven't got second chance to go there.

Besides, I must also praise you for the home cook fried rice. They were so presentable . You must have spent lots of effort to make them so beautiful. I am sure it tasted good too.
