[Volume 8 Issue 12, #1835]
it's been a long time we've not seen fing-fing, do you miss him?? hey look, fing-fing has got a new friend!! yeah, daddy thinks fing-fing has been a very good boy lately, so he bought a toy to keep fing-fing company.. both of them are monkeys, furthermore this toy monkey is not just any tom-dick-harry, so daddy believes they can get along very well.. daddy says, even though julius is just a small piece of toy, fing-fing should also appreciate it and be thankful.. do not behave like many kids nowadays, because they are always given the best materialistic lives by their parents, they are taking things for granted and thought everything comes easy, hence never appreciate but always complain about what is not good enough.. and as parents, don't spoil the kids, rather always give appropriate guidance and advices, let the kids know what they get may not come easy, let them know what are the wrongs and what are the rights.. hehehe, sorry, daddy saw some really misbehaved kids and kind of ranted a bit.. okay okay, no big deal, since both fing-fing and julius are good boys, hence daddy brought both of them to Osaka together, now enjoying our holidays and shall be back to see everyone here again very soon~~ :p

  2. I spanked my babies every day. :p Because they are naughty.

  3. I agreed most parents will spoil their kids somehow...I tend to do this as well. After all they are our little ones. :D

  4. But when they screw up I am so going to whack them. Haha :D I am quite ganas when I am disciplining them.

    1. Aiyo! So ganas father!! If SK spanks his monkey, it might turn into raging Gorilla!

    2. I always believe spanking or hitting a child to discipline them do not yield the desired results. There are much better ways to educate and discipline them. Just my opinion la...

But then again, I don't know much. I have only one child. ;)

    3. Not all child listen to warning again and again. At times when verbal warning wont do anymore have to wack wack.

    4. But then, you can say that caning also doesn't work when you had to spank and cane over and over again?

      So the cycle repeat?

Marah, cane, senyap then buat salah, cane again. Repeat.

I'm actually OK la with caning. At school I told the teachers not to spare the rod to my son also.

But for little kids? Too small to reason? What purpose does it serve? To keep them quiet? Do they understand why you cane them? Or buat salah saja, cane come out? Cannot la...

    5. I try not to cane when the kids have reached 7 years old and above. I canned them when they were much younger. Now, I try to reason out with them. I agree with SK, we cannot spoil the kids too much, we have to discipline them with love and make them a grateful person.

    3. Yea, being a parent is sure no easy task these days. I see many spoil kids these days, but I think cannot just blame the parents, of course parents still have to bear most of the responsibility in this case, just that there're just so many seductions these days!! And sometimes it's the peer pressure, hence kids always ask for things from their parents.
Haih, I think I'll have a hard time educating Aden in the future!! :0

    1. I was wondering..... is this Julius male or female?

Ah Boy stuffs them together in the luggage here and there, will there be no hanky panky happening inside? ;P

Eh, is Fing Fing a he or she? If Fing Fing is a he and Julius is a she, then SK can become grandpa after this Osaka trip. But then if Fing Fing is a he and Julius is a he, too, SK will pening kepala with the gay party >.<

    2. Or the situation might be vice verse, LOL~

Okie, Ah Hua's yellow brain is thinking too much. Better stay straight!

    1. I returned because I'd totally forgot what I wanna say about the spoiled brats *too excited to hear that Fing Fing has a new partner*

I agree many kids nowadays are very lucky and they don't know how to be grateful for their easy life. Mine is included and I've been trying the hardest so that she won't be ignorant about it.

    2. MM tends to spoil the kids, but I'm a tough mom. Hardly give in to their request for toys, only allow them to buy reading materials.

Of course, I sometimes rewards them with their favourite food like fast food or Japanese food ;)

But after all, you are a good daddy, at least you get him a partner or else Fing Fing will get bored while you enjoying your Japan trip.

  20. Recently, Calvin attend extra class organized by his kindergarten. One of his friend - a girl just came back from a holiday. She brought some souvenirs back for her 6yo friends only. Not many attended the extra class, so all she knew is my son and another 2 more friends whom is the same age. I'm really surprise that nowadays, kids are so lucky. This 6yo girl by the name Yee Hui, gave a Disneyland keychain for my son. Yee Hui just back came back from her Osaka holiday. Parents if can or affordable ones always giving them the very best we can and give them the best holiday experience right?

    2. From here, I advice my son too. I asked him to learn from her, be a good boy in school and at home. I always take good examples to encourage my son. Kids love to be praise, we do that but not too much. I will scold him too if he did anything wrong. No one dare to scold except me. hehehe....

  24. Manayk susah pasal kids topic.

everyone will have their own opinion. But how to deal with own kids will see each parents la. Some will not spare the rotan . some will talk to the kids. But it will also depending on the kids . some will listen and then forget..talk again and again and forgot. some will listen then purposely test the boundary.

oh well...each will have their own method in dealing with their own kid

    ReplyDelete
  25. Correct, every kids are different too. They have different behaviors for the parents to handle. Not all kids like rotan. Parents are always be there to advice and keep advice until "hao sui dou kon"
