Good morning, SK, everyone!
ReplyDeletehi there Happy~~ :)
DeleteInteresting maths!
ReplyDeleteyeah, interesting!!
DeleteGood Morning Thambee. What a horrendous price tag! So gross mistakes again. You should have complained to their manager dei.
ReplyDeleteshhh shh should not complain to manager leh. Just be more alert and buy...go custimer service claim back the money. Coz they honour which ever lower price mah...muahahaha
DeleteEr? Then you'll only get (RM5.50 - RM3.38 = RM1.12 round down to ) RM1.10 back? Might as well complain the their manager so that no other consumers fall for the trap.
Deletenah, i didn't buy that so i won't waste my time doing so.. i will only complain if i have paid more, and that's the only case i will complain.. paid less, then that's their problem~~ :p
DeleteI will write to all hypermarkets to hire SK to be their watch dog to fish out all the errors on the shelf tags! You will be handsomely paid dei.
ReplyDeleteCham lo.....SK is a perfectionist leh.....sure all the workers scared liao. kena shoot by the manager for wrong pricing
Deletehaha, i think it's actually fun to become a mystery shopper.. i can try to find mistakes and also flaws in their operations and service.. hey, not bad as a job right??
DeleteI once got offered to be mystery hotel guest.
DeleteAll rooms & F&B can claim except calls & internet. Nice, right? But too darn stressful for me! LOL
I just like to find fault and complain for FREE! Bwahaha
so you are going to write a report to them?? eih, stressful ke?? i thought it's fun especially to find fault and make complaints!! then you have all the rights and reason to become bitchy, hahaha~~
DeleteNow you get me interested to be the "Auntie" to go around checking their price tags and find faults. I had never done this before! It should be fun!
ReplyDeleteI think for sure here, SK is very the observant and detailed. He will be a very good employee. SK will sure have a very promising future.
DeleteThambee is too free, took his leisure time to scan thoroughly the price tag. I must not go for shopping during my busiest time, I will get trapped into this situation. Will take Thambee as example - to compare and observe so those hypermarkets cannot take advantage of me :D
Deleteof course, a penny saved is a penny earned!! poor people like me have to be even more alert on not wasting our hard earn money just like that, the percentage will be huge for a poor guy like me~~ :D
DeleteThanks to your multiple blog posts about wrong pricing, overcharged bills and bad services that changed me to be extremely careful these days. I managed to spot many errors in the bills! That saved my money and it should go into Thambee's Wedding Ang Pow funds for 2014?? Ha ha ha ha...
ReplyDeleteHe's getting married?????
DeleteWoot! Woot! SK is marrying Kamala in year 2014. Please invite me, SK, I will sure attend your wedding.
DeleteThambee is already married to Kamala. Where do you think Fing Fing came from? From the tree, ka? LOL~
Deleteit's always a good habit to check your bills and receipt to find if there is anything wrong, we do not want to pay more than we should pay..
DeleteMorning everyone!
ReplyDeleteSK is like a consumer PI lah... going around checking prices. ;)
like that the financial controller will like me as a buyer?? :D
DeleteDaylight robbery!!! Terrible those people over at your side.
ReplyDeleteHere, they will tell you e.g. 20 sen for one, 5 for RM1.00. Actually, no discount if you buy more but the way they say it, it would seem that there is and so one would buy more...only to discover later, after calculating, that one has paid the exact same price if one had bought one.
very true, especially those stalls they will never tell you the unit price but just the bundle price.. and in the end, you will find out there is no bulk purchase discount at all.. very simple and common, the pisang goreng stall for instance, they always tell you 5 keping RM2.00 but never tell you 1 keping RM0.40.. that makes the customers always buy in bulks of 5 pieces..
DeleteDid you bring the items to the cashier to see which price is being registered? I would if I have the time. Someone over there has obviously failed his/her math in highschool..
ReplyDeletenope, i didn't buy that actually.. and since i am not buying i don't even want to waste time to let them know the mistakes they have made..
DeleteGood morning all.
ReplyDeleteI think it was merely a mistake. I used to buy yogurt drinks like this for my two girls. Two for RM5.50, meaning each RM2.75. 5 bottles of yogurt drinks cost RM2.75 is considered a steal. RM1.69 is far too cheap.
Mistakes would happen to anyone and anytime. May be during festive season, the workers work overtime and got too exhausted.
Now it makes sense!
DeleteMak Yannie, it's those small tubs of yoghurt and not those big bottles of yoghurt drink.. if it's 2 bottles of yoghurt drinks for RM5.50, then i will not hesitate to buy 10 bottles, haha!!
Deletei think most probably they are trying to have "2 for RM2.50" promo but did a typo mistake and never realised that..
Tak faham...maybe means the Peach is RM1.69 while if wanna combine others will be RM5.50 for two?
ReplyDeletewhat F/F means? Does it means buy two of the yogurt drinks for RM5.50 and on top of that get one Free Fruit Fruit Yogurt Melba 135g ?
no lah, i think most probably is a typo yet they did not realize at all.. maybe 2 for RM2.50 is more reasonable lah.. F/F means fat free lah, neh those N***le fat free yoghurt..
DeleteEach is RM1.69 but comes in a pack of two = RM3.38
ReplyDeleteIf buy two packs of RM3.38x2=RM6.76
Sale 2[packs] for RM5.50
Savings of RM1.26
If like that boleh tahan as each cost only RM1.40 instead of RM1.69 BUT not likely or probably??? haha.
hmmm, no idea how they are selling that.. i think most probably it's a typo mistake.. i would say it may probably be "2 for RM2.50" lah..
Deletefunny because I just mentioned in your previous entry that the incident that you complained will teach them a lesson.. well i guess it didn't worked out pretty well after all LOL
ReplyDeletehaha, it was actually on the same day at the same place.. furthermore i don't expect them to read my post either.. :p
Deletebut at least you gave future buyers an awareness right
Deletehaha, i didn't know but i guess my readers would be more aware of such "games" now~~
Deleteoh and we're not referring to cents anymore.. this shop is really taking their "over pricing' strategy to another level haha
ReplyDeletei would think most probably they have made a typo mistake and did not realize that..
DeleteI can't even say that it's a typo error considering how big the fonts are.
ReplyDeletehahaha.. i think the digit 2 and 5 are quite close to each other on the numpad right?? :D
Deletekarma awaits this people who take advantage of their customers tsk tsk tsk
ReplyDeletewell, i did not buy that so i do not know how much they are charging if i were to buy two..
DeleteGood afternoon SK and everyone~
ReplyDeleteHaha, its 'Let's go' hypermarket again? What kind of hypermarket is that? Banned it already la! :p
May be just some technical error la! Machines also will go crazy sometimes, hehe.
DeleteAnd, you are very observant and courteous, you'll be a good bf/husband leh! Hehehe ^^
Careless people like me sure will miss this and end up realizing it when I get home... Hehe.
DeleteErm so I wanna know did you complain to the customer service counter?
cannot say i am observant lah, because the font is so big there!! haha.. maybe i frequently buy yoghurt as snacks, so i know how much one tub can be.. 2 for RM5.50 is way too expensive lah, maybe it's a typo for "2 for RM2.50"??
Delete梗系裝彈弓啦!
ReplyDelete不過我冇買, 所以唔知道葫蘆裡面裝咩藥~~
DeleteMust be tersilap letak price tag.. I never heard of this Let's Go hypermarket before...or is this just a nickname for the other hypermarket, you know i know? :)
ReplyDeletehaha, of course i cannot specify the exact name lah.. Let's Go Let's Go, read it few more times and you can link it to a real supermarket that starts with the letter T~~ :D
DeleteTheir pricing are pretty confusing sometimes >.<
ReplyDeleteI do that for all promo items too.
DeleteCannot trust system to be updated sometimes and such a hassle to point it out to the cashier, esp if cashier the grumpy/lazy type or when there is a long queue behind you.
that is why i always check the price at the scanning machine first, especially for promo items, they are 500% more prone to mistakes and errors, gotta watch out for those..
DeleteI think I know what it means. Every single piece cost RM1.69 but it's RM5.50 for 2 cartons. They should have written it clearly.
ReplyDeletehmmm, but two cartons is how many items?? very confusing, but i guess probably it should actually be 2 for RM2.50?? make sense right since 2 and 5 is next to each other on the numpad..
Deletethat's weird! well as I always told you
ReplyDeletepromos are meant to deceive customers
but this, was merely a clear cheating haha
that is why i am more alert on the pricing for promo items.. there is always discrepancy..
Deleteyeah, is was a business thingy after all, not for charity
Deletebuy one take one were the most commonly
ReplyDeleteused promo and i must say
it works everytime haha but there are some
items that allows you to save a few cents
well, buy 1 and get 1 free items.. i always look carefully at the cash register and the receipt, so that they really have the 2nd one free for me..
Deletebut most of the time it wasn't really free, t would save you a few cents tho
Deletei dont think it was a mistype
ReplyDeletei bet they knew that during chinese new year or
any other celebrations people just get everything they could,
pay and leave
unnoticing this kinds of scams
well, i didn't buy that in the end, so i really do not know how much they are charging two items..
DeleteI wouldnt buy that either too haha
DeleteI must say you have a pretty weird shop there
ReplyDeletehaha and you have an eye on this things
in my case i don't even care to look at prices stuff like this haha
this "Let's Go" hypermarket is actually a very renown international chain, read "Let's Go" few more times with a faster speed and you may be able to get it's real name that starts with a T~~ :p
DeleteWahhhh!!!! Clever you ah! But why not state the name loud and clear! You have evidence against them...not that you made up the story one. Help protect your fellow-consumers.
Deletei always do that, just try to use another name to link but never spell that out directly.. never "advertise" for free lah.. in fact, i always think my readers are smart enough to know which one i am referring to, haha!!
Deletehaha i didn;t get it sk haha perhaps that store wasnt really famous here
Deleteof maybe it was i just cant figure it out
I calculated it sk, and you can even
ReplyDeletebuy three for that price haha
so i'd rather buy 3 that buy two and spend
additional cents
yes, exactly!! RM5.50 is more than enough for 3 at that unit price, and still there will be change!!
Deleteyeah so that's really over the top
Deletehave a great day and happy blogging to you buddy
ReplyDeletetake the best of care and god bless you
you too have a great day!! happy blogging and may god bless you~~ :)
DeleteLOL!! Must be a mistake lah : D
ReplyDeletei guess so lah, furthermore such a big font right?? :D
DeleteI dont think it is a mistake . . . it is a BULLY case hahaha! bully people who rushing and small eye sight XD
DeleteI usually always check first before I buy all these type of deals. Wonder if anyone fell for it or not?
ReplyDeletehmmm, i always check when i suspect, especially those promo items, they always fail to sync the price tag and their system..
DeleteErr..where is this "Let's Go" hypermarket? I only know Tesco, Giant and Carrefour LOL!
ReplyDeletejust a fake name lah.. just read "Let's Go" a few more times and with a faster speed then you'd know.. ooopss, i think you mentioned that in your comments also!! :D
Deleteomg 数学 fail
ReplyDelete徹徹底底地fail了!! 哈哈~~
Deletebully people eyesight got problem is it? hahaha
ReplyDeleteI dun usually go super market . . . when I do . . . it is either on CNY or people celebrate bbq wanna buy material haha
my dad got 1 time kena con by the cashier, and call out the manager . . . then the manager macam beh soong and my dad lead him and show him the pricing. then the manager faster torn down the price tag when saw it, and apologize to my dad hahaha . . . must show some color sometimes, else the management people will be dam superb high and think everything is correct.
Deleteanyways, by right I didn't encounter those problem, if got . . . . I didnt realize it hahaha
Deleteone day sure the person who create this shits will kena CON back haha
