| 每日都會收到Groupon嘅電郵, 其實我都唔介意睇一睇然後刪除, 話唔定裡頭真係有筍嘢(雖然到此為止我從來未團購過任何嘢).. 早幾日前就見到呢一則「驚奇」, 以RM0兼100%折扣申請信用卡!! 對唔住, 可能你唔認同, 但係我個人就係覺得Groupon俾我嘅印象, 係貨銷量唔好又乏人問津先需要減價吸引顧客.. 堂堂一間跨國大銀行, 竟然需要落得如斯田地??!! 我知信用卡係銀行最賺錢嘅產品, 商場四週圍有人纏住你申請都算啦, 不過居然要搞上團夠, 未免又cheap咗個image係嘛?? 純屬個人意見, 又或者係我判斷錯誤, 呢個可能係未來趨勢?? @_@" |
| i received daily updates from Groupon everyday, i don't mind browse and then delete off that email, who knows there is something that i find useful right (though i have not bought anything yet so far)?? what came as a "surprise" the other day was this, 100% discount at RM0 to apply for a credit card!! sorry you may not agree with me, but i personally think that groupon is for those who have very little sales and few customers, hence they place discounts to attract more customers.. for such an acclaimed international bank, do they really need to resort to this??!! i know credit card is earning the biggest money for banks, forget those who keep haggling you to apply for one, i think perhaps making it to groupon is kind of cheap-ing their corporate image huh?? entirely personal view, or maybe i am not right as this is the emerging trend?? @_@" |

this is the first time i see a bank in groupon lah, such a pioneer, haha!! hmmm, i think they have the most sales channel for their credit card lah, especially in shopping malls keep following you to persuade you to apply for one.. then just ask you to apply for then cancel to get the free gifts.. but then their gifts also lousy lah, those cheapo cutie coin banks, i want them for what?? then i don't think their perks are interesting also, marketing lousy and service also tarak bagus~~
DeleteI have bought few cheapo offers from Groupon. Most of their sales were not genuine as the prices were often being hiked up to the skies.

DeleteThere was once my friend bought online for massage as birthday treat for me under one store...am not sure is it groupon or other site.
Very susah redeem the voucher. The two of us supposed to have pampering session.
Called up the saloon a few times always say no vacancy for the dates we wanted. Then my friend husband geram. He called up and pretend as customer. $%^& the saloon said got vacancy padahal we just hang up when the girl said no vacancy.
We serang the saloon and the people there got scared...said no la...their plumbing problem la...no water...then the supervisor said no la they expecting electrician....bla bla...
that time our first time purchase...so didn't know that we can complaint to the online store and get refund.

I have subscribe some newsletter from groupon and so. I like to see those groupon advertisement but never bought any. I don't trust those sales.
Deletei actually find a lot of interesting vouchers from groupon, very attractive offer too.. but then i never bought any lah.. cos looking at those merchants, really have not heard them before, i am really in doubt with the credibility.. unless they are big names, then i will consider to get the groupon lah.. but looks like many have bad experience with the voucher they bought, i once got invited to a dinner a friend bought voucher for it, the food so not nice!!!

ReplyDeleteyeah, a debit card is good enough.. there are many times that you don't have enough cash with you, so plastic does the magic!! also, you don't want to carry too much cash with you for safety reason right?? :)

I also subscribe but never buy anything from them yet. But my CFO, Sr Mgr, GM always have things sent over to them at the office from Groupon.

There was one time i "overpaid" the card by large amount coz cancellation of plane tickets. Wanna get refund from them very susah. I call up and the lady told me they have to get approval from their management.
aiyo...my own money wanna take back also so susah. Geram geram I cancel card.
They never call me to promote anything. Maybe because I'm too poor! LOL

DeleteSC bank at one time was a very famous bank in town. When I was still a kid, my mom brought me there to keep all my coins from my piggy bank. I never know it has become so lousy now. Time really can change many things.

DeleteInteresting new trend in advertising but for credit cards, usual! This one would have to go thru two stages of approvals - firstly, the required qty is to be met, and then, the bank has to approve the application. Still, a good try if one needs a credit card.

Deletehmmm, service coupon very tricky one, not as straight forward as getting products.. cos service is very subjective one mah, then tied to lots of terms and conditions.. sure you won't get the best service with groupon vouchers one..

ReplyDeleteThey used to send me several emails daily and I was so angry with the spamming that I unsubscribed. But they continue to spam me after I unsubscribed, so I was really irritated!
