| 我諗社交網絡已經唔係咩新鮮嘢啦.. 不過圖中一大堆嘅社交網絡, 我發覺自己好落後呀, 因為我淨係得F, B同G咋!! 哈哈, 不過呢三樣嘢對我嚟講都夠晒啦, 所以我非常好奇其他人有更加多嘅網絡, 究竟點樣搵咁多時間去照顧全部呢?? 話說某校宿舍發生火災, 當大家都在逃命之際, 有一位同學卻仍然留守房間.. 因為佢影到宿舍火災情況要第一時間上載facebook, 但係又因為佢用嘅DG網絡線路繁忙, 所以不得不耐心等候線路.. 好喇, 相片終於成功上載, 結果佢個宿舍火災post, 所有二千幾個friend之中得到二百七十六個like, 就係完全唔見人comment問候!! 讀到呢度, 大家應該知道係個虛構故事, 不過所反映嘅現實病態, 雖然我唔係單刀直入說明, 相信大家都明白我背後嘅意思呵?? :) |
| social networking is nothing new to us i guess.. but from that list in the photo, i think i'm kind of out because i only have that F, B and G!! haha, but that's already quite taxing for me, i wonder where do people with more social network accounts find time to manage all of them?? there was once a hostel was on fire, while all students were running out of the hostel for their lives, there was one student who was still staying in his room.. because he has managed to snap a photo of the burning hostel and wanted so badly to post it to Facebook immediately, but since he is subscribing to DG network, he had no choice but to wait patiently for a better connection.. finally the photo was posted, he got 276 likes for his hostel on fire post from his 2000 over friends, yet none commented to ask if he was ok!! at this point, i bet you think this is just a story i created, however for the crazy deeds it was telling, though not directly, i believe you get the meaning behind that i hope to highlight yeah?? :) |

Last yime I don't even kniw fb..slowly learn . N now they say googke wanna change to googke plus. I still don't understand google plus . How to control ppl adding me n stuffs like that. I dare not post anything there though I hv Google plus coz don't know how to control privacy mode
you guys are not alone, haha, i also do not know the majority of them in the list.. in fact i only have F, B and G only.. oh yeah, Google+ is also kind of new to me.. thought automatically given that account but i have not used it at all, only familiar with FB lah, i very old fashioned one~~

very true with what you said, and that's exactly what i wanted to say with this post!! it's so sad to see such situation, where people just become so indifferent, all in their mind is to upload photos or status, and then get attention from their friends..

What to do, the amount of "like" in Facebook can make them very proud of it!!! So now maybe the "proud feeling" is much important than their life or anything else!!! =]
ReplyDeleteYou know in fb sonetimes we see a pic that ask us to like...if I get 100k likes daddy will buy ne a dog or proclamation like your are heartless if you dobt like this pic..the pic of some cancer or wat victims..I feel so put off by them. It's no yhat I no heart but I feel y should I like? Really will get a dog meh? The dad shoild nrver put his kid like yhis.

Deleteyeah, how many LIKEs has become a very important statistics now.. last time i don't just click the like button, but i'll leave a comment to support.. but now looking at the trend, it seems like the LIKE button is some kind of acknowledgement meaning "ok, i've seen it already" rather than really liking the photo of status..

DeleteAbout the 1,000K *LIKES*, it reminds me few months ago, that's an instagram's user, maybe something wrong happened to her/him or what!!! She/He keep on post the same photo ask for "LIKES" every couple minutes, whoever click most "likes" will get shout out, but end up everyone just get very annoying and leave a comment states as "it's annoying, I quit!"
Sometimes, I seriously have no idea what's in their mind duh!!! =[

DeleteOnce in a while I will do spring clean in my facebook and delete at least 30-50 of the monsters who would spoil my mornings when I log into Facebook. I realised they were so negatives with nonsense especially during the elections period.
ReplyDeletei used to do spring cleaning, but now i don't even bother to care anymore.. i also hardly log in to facebook lately, because most of the time i don't even find anything interesting to see!! people are saying the same old things repeatedly :D
DeleteI think Facebook is a very effective media tool that could jolt and stir people's emotions very fast. I felt like a busy body for reading it sometimes. Then when I posted too many photos up, I felt exposed and loss of privacy pula. So confusing.
ReplyDeleteI consoled myself and looked at the Presidents & Prime Ministers who are in the media all the time with paparazzi hounding their families. I am not so bad in my shoes.
indeed facebook is a miracle, it is possible to do anything because it does one very basic thing that is to connect the people and put them together in a virtual space.. hahaha, great that you are so optimistic and get yourself to compare to the Presidents & Prime Ministers, hahahahahaha!!
DeleteIn the area where I live, they even have a Facebook with over 3000 residents inside. Can you imagine the amount of busy body craps they posted besides robberies, break ins and snatch thefts plus cursing the heartless motorists who speed and those who double parked or block entrances?? I found it both informative and irritating sometimes.

well well well, facebook group!! and you are right, it can be informative, can be entertaining and can be irritating at times.. but come to think about it, it's not just that specific group you have joined, magnify it and do you see this big group - facebook itself?? :p

DeleteBlog also makan alot of my time. Where got time to be active in every icons above. Even at FB, I don't really have time to read and see those video clips my friend posted. Some even share the same thing on and on.

These days we see guests stopping the dinner from starting during wedding functions. They would have to snap every dishes and upload to facebook! I thought only young guests would do that but I started seeing grandpas and grandpas doing more!!!

Deletei think now everyone is holding a smartphone, and everything they (or shall i say WE??) see, they would just want to snap a picture.. the convenience of digital camera on a phone!! see something, snap photo then post it online.. that's what many people are doing.. is it a trend or is it a sickening phenomena you think??

People nowadays are getting colder and colder even though there are so many social networks, I find that they are having less and less 感情，more and more 自我和冷淡。Don't you agree?
ReplyDeletedefinitely agree with you Libby.. it's like we are all connected but in the virtual space, i would say it's a mixture of good and bad, good in the sense that it's convenient and almost immediate.. bad in the sense that it's not realistic.. :)

Only a few days, I live without my smart phone, I feel like dying. Luckily I still have Galaxy tab at home, I can't wait to get a new smart phone now. So, I am one of the sickening people already. My condition of getting smartphone, it must have a good camera. Because I want to snap pics and post to F and B too. i don't use G and t.
ReplyDeleteI love browsing FB, read news, blog hops and so on. You know who is happy on those days that I lost my phone, my two girls are so happy, because I have all my attention on them now. I even have the free time to sharpen their pencils and tidy up their school bags. Sigh! Why I am so sickening!
i think you are not alone, i believe everyone here is so used to have their gadget with them and then hook online.. some surveys stated that more than 50% of the people feel anxious if they do not have their phone with them - because they can't be contacted, and they cannot connect with others..
