| 我相信好多時候開咗個頭, 就好自然咁會有下一次, 我講緊嘅係團購groupon.. 自從第一次令人覺得滿意嘅經驗之後, 見到呢一個頗為吸引嘅優惠, 於是就二話不說決定要試佢一試喇.. 係個800克重嘅超級漢堡包與五款德國香腸配德國酸菜和薯蓉, 因為遇上香腸同自製漢堡包, 好多時候我都會把持唔住, 哈哈!! 各位係唔係已經想象到係幾咁「肉仙肉死」呢?? 我可以話你知, 係超級大嘅一個漢堡包, 慶幸嘅係呢一份餐係俾二人享用, 所以份量其實係啱啱好嘅.. 香腸好味又新鮮(咩話?? 醃製肉類都可形容為新鮮?? 大家知我對食物形容係相當詞窮啦, 哈哈!!), 而漢堡肉餅整得外脆內嫩, 肉汁僅僅鎖住(就連切一半嘅時候都能夠感覺到!!), 調味都做得點到即止.. 相當美味嘅一餐, 而且又可以同朋友聚一聚.. 當返到屋企寫呢一篇post嘅時候, 我仲打咗幾次好重肉味嘅嗝, 嗯, 係個(disgusting得嚟又)令人相當滿意嘅第二次groupon經歷.. 唯一有微言嘅係侍應俾人感覺似冰冷嘅機械人, 哈哈~~ :D |
| i guess after you have taken the first step out, probably there will be the next times to follow, what i mean here is groupon.. after a rather satisfactory experience for my very first time using a groupon, i saw this attractive deal and hence didn't hesitate to give it another go.. it's an ultimate 800g burger and 5 types of german sausages served with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, as when it comes to sausages and homemade burgers, i am almost "resistance-less", haha!! now you can imagine the meatload huh?? i can tell you it was HUGE, luckily it's a portion for two, thank god the portion was just nice.. sausages were good and fresh (what am i talking about the freshness of processed meat?? you know i have limited vocab for food, muahaha!!), and the burger patty was made slightly crispy outside and very juicy inside (i can even feel the juiciness when i cut it into halves, no joking!!), perfectly flavorful.. it was certainly a delicious meal and a happy time catching up with friends.. and while i was at home blogging about it, i was still burping the meat, ooopsss, disgustingly satisfied second groupon experience i would say.. only downside was that waiters seemed to be like cold robots, hahaha~~ :D |

yeah, i don't know if it's because of groupon or what, the waiters there seems to be like robots.. no smile, no extra words talk to you, and you need to call them to get anything you want, i mean they are totally 100% passive..

By the way...how DO you talk to foreign workers/waiters? I always find that I dont know how to talk to them....speak in what language...sometimes see bangladeshi or myanmar or vietnamese...i like stuck...how? speak mandarin? Malay? english???
have to wait for them to open mouth and talk then try to descipher what language they are using then i baru can puzzle out my response.
dunno lah, all like robots like that no smile and then need to kick one.. anyway, i used groupon so i don't want to complain so much lah.. errr, speak in English lah, that's more universal mah when you go to restaurants irrespective of what nation the waiters are..

ReplyDeleteMost of the deals are worth it if you know how to judge them well. They will slash the price with good discounts to attract customers who are guaranteed to visit. The amount of $$$ they spent in the newspapers will hardly attract diners. So they rather earn lesser tru groupons and save from the newspaper advertising which runs for only 1 day.
i don't go for any tom dick harry groupon discounts lah, only go for those more reputable ones.. and it's kind of good to get things cheaper right?? and yeah, i think groupon is a brilliant marketing concept, who doesn't like discounts right??

DeleteAt my age I must start changing my diet in oredr to live healthily. I must increase my intake for grains and green vegetables otherwise it would be back to square even if I drank gallons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Coconut Oil but eat too much meat.

DeleteYou better not believe all their craps that the hamburger was homemade!! It was probably made in the resturant's kitchens but the sauce and kicap came from home only. Or the chef grandmother was dragged from home to the restaurant to marinate and fry the burgers. That is homemade too!

food was good, we really enjoyed the burger and sausages.. and the service that night, i think the waiters just popped over to get us seated and took order, bring us water and food, and clear the table.. that's it~~ and i don't remember talking to them in more than 10 words!! :D

Deleteit's stated in the menu about the 450g burger patty, but i didn't go weigh it and verify lah, haha!! when the burger was served, take photo and straight away makan already wat~~ oh, sauerkraut is a very common side dish in German cuisine, it's good to go with the meat because it's sour so make you not so jelak.. :)

DeleteTo be very honest here, when age is catching up, I do lots of exercise, and I do eat rather healthy, but my weight remained for years. If no increase, mean I am lucky already. I start to wonder why I didn’t lose any weight recently, and how to shed a pound. Sigh…….

But then, good news is many said I look lean and fit. Perhaps, I have successfully toned up my muscles, and that’s muscle weigh more than fat. Right, SK?
Anyway, I have not tried groupon before. May be in future I will try if I get attracted by their advertisement.
errr, as we aged our metabolism rate will surely decrease, and that's why it's more difficult to lose weight.. furthermore, if you are always doing the same routine in the gym, you can't see effects, must interchange between different routines.. even on treadmill, you cannot run at constant speed and resistance.. like that one hour also no help, you should do intervals of random speeds and resistance.. but glad that you are more lean and fit now, bravo!! keep it up~~ :)
