| frankly, i am not quite willing to fork out tens of RM for just a cup of ice-cream.. hence i can only have the chance to savor expensive ice-creams when i occasionally go for buffets, in usual days when i feel like eating ice-cream, i will just get those RM1 ones from fast food chains, cheap and nice.. but the other day i got to know about this pink wednesday promotion from this blogger friend and i thought it's quite worth.. the next day was coincidentally wednesday, hence i put on my (luscious) pink shirt and out i went.. my very first time trying this pink promo, a bit awkward but finally got the above "Happy 8" that comes with 8 mini scoops of ice-creams at RM10.50 after tax.. though mini scoops but i rather prefer that way, since i can taste 8 different kinds of flavor at one go.. hmmm, i know what you're thinking, but these 8 mini scoops added up to just about 2 normal scoops, hence it just nice for an adult wokay?? it's tuesday today, if you would like to try out the promotion, wear something pink or bring something pink with you wednesday tomorrow.. nah, i'm not promoting for them but kind of sharing with everyone the good deals, never miss out any chance right?? :D |

DeleteI loved the time when they had an outlet at KLIA right beside the arrival gate. No business, hardly anybody but the staff was very nice. They let you try ALL the flavours in their little pink spoons...and after trying all, I would have had enough and would not want to buy anymore. Hehehehehehe!!!! No wonder they closed down! :D

DeleteActually, the KLIA one, I only went to look, I didn't ask to sample - no intention of buying, can't afford but the nice boy insisted that I tried this and this and this... I think he was bored and wanted to entertain himself to pass the time - no customers...or I looked like a really nice guy. Hehehehehehe!!!!!

I have a friend who likes to wear that pair of shocking pink (fuchsia) pants and we used to go out for lunch - him and a few us and his pants would be the attraction.

Just makan anything and when paying, give mbb card to BR staff & tell them you want to pay by point.
DeleteThen the needed points will be deducted. The transaction is similar to normal card payment. You still need to sign the chit and it will show you the amount deducted and balance points too. :-)

This BR seems to be desperate these days. They are always packed on 31st but empty on most nights in several outlets outside the malls. I am a big fan of their ice creams so I am observant.

I am always a fan. I used to eat them late at night until closing time. Just me and Letchumy scooping heaps of ice cream like lovers giggling and gossiping the whole week's events. It is a good therapy to de-stress over ice cream.

DeleteDo you know that during certain marathons in KL (and Penang), there's a group of runners that have an independent refreshment station and one thing they served for free for runners is asam boi ice cream! After running 36km, it's a refreshing jolt to the senses! :-)
hey, i think the asam boi is one of those very efficient thirst-quenching and refreshing and probably hydrating thing.. sometimes when the weather is hot, i always like to order the asam boi lemon honey drinks in kopitiam..

DeleteSK, from your picture, the 8 scoops look more like 3 or 4 actual full scoops. I think this is a good deal - to be able to try out 8 different flavours for a reduced price. Will have to go try it out but first will have to scrounge for something pink or grab a pink balloon there like what Lina suggested. :D

Too bad there's no BR or Haagen Dazs here, only can eat them when I go outstation, but like that also good la, at least can save money and won't become fatty so fast, LOL!
There're sure lots of business tactics like this, just like Kenny Rogers, also got similar thing, wear red shirt can entitle one free meal and so on.

Now only I know why you guys kept asking SP to show his pink nipples. Muahahah! Too bad, there isn't any Baskin Robin store in my area. I could only have it in Ipoh. Yes only last week, we went there, as April was there for her ping pong tournament. Their dad treated them a small cup after her winning. It was indeed very expensive.
