Happy Thursday morning everyone!
ReplyDeleteGood morning!! Lina is reporting very early everyday!
DeleteNeed to come early.
DeleteBefore Prefect Thambee does his rounds.
xD
wah, always the most punctual student to go to school!! good, must give you two sweets already~~ :p
DeleteFree sweets?
DeleteLadies beware!
I will fight for first spot. Ha ha ha....!
Wow...I am the first?
ReplyDeleteNope. I was!
DeleteSorry! xD
haha, just 1 second slower!! so disgraceful right?? hehehe :p
DeleteDon't cry in despair Chris. This world is man eat man survival and the same goes with this blog. LOL.. Muhahahahaha!
DeleteAiayh....missed it... :( I don't wanna comment anymore.
ReplyDeleteAiyoh!
DeleteDon't be like that lah.
Come come. Tomorrow you come early and comment first. :)
yalor, Chris you so petty one?? like that not a good student already leh~~ :p
DeleteSmall gas Chris!
DeleteShoo!
I so agree with you.
ReplyDeleteThey take their own sweet time getting into the lift, but never bother to think about other's time.
One more - those who were busy looking at the phone's screen and made us inside lift wait patiently for them to enter or exit.
yes yes yes!! besides the lift, i also hate those people who are so busy looking at their phone till they are blocking the way everywhere.. you know lah, i always walk very fast, and those looking at their phone are so slow.. hate that hate that!!
DeleteTime to change the lifts!
DeleteThey should open tid bits corner inside to sell newspapers, sweets and condoms!
wah, so anay you want to start this in-lift vendor business?? hehehehehe, so innovative!! can also sell kacang putih and tosai too~~
DeleteRecently I took elevators often when I took my mum to the medical centre in Subang Jaya. Goodness, they have 2 blocks of building connected by a bridge, so we had to go back and forth.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i think SJMC is really very big, you gotta spend lots of time going from one end to the other..
DeleteMy old lady had to be pushed on wheelchair otherwise she would faint.
Deletei think SJMC should consider building escalator or conveyor belt around the hospital so that people do not have to walk so much especially for the elderly and the patients.. but then with such facilities, they will charge Anay even more!!
DeleteI also got annoyed in such sweet-time lifts with slow moving users. Humans being humans, the worst are those still talking inside with their mobile phones. I was surprised some lifts had reception inside.
ReplyDeleteNot only talking on phone, but they continue to sms/play games on their phone, ignorant to surrounding.
DeleteAs if their eyes are glued to the screen and they don't bother to move aside when others have reach the floor and squeeze out.
yalor, as if they cannot move their sight away from their phone!! haiz, really so inconsiderate!! if walking still can overtake them, but waiting inside the lift really challenge me to yell at them!!
DeleteI always yell EXCUSE ME veli veli loud one....
DeleteAnay, you have to go close to that person and shout EXCUSE ME very very loudly into his/her ear!! wakakakaka~~
DeleteWhen I lived in a condo for many years, I hated waiting and using the lifts as I lived on the high floors and had to stop on so many levels. I used to walk down as a form of exercise.
ReplyDeleteI prefer using the stairs too.
DeleteBut somehow noawadays, management doesn't allow people to use stairs going up & entering each floor from outside. Can only go out, from inside and walk down.
Security reasons. Approved by Bomba some more. So troublesome when there is one lift that cannot work. I stay at 1st floor, but had to wait so long for the lift to come. :(
yeah, i was working in KLCC last time and we are not allowed to use the staircase.. if you get into the stairwell you will not be able to get out, until you walk straight down to the ground floor, knock the door and a security guard will come and interrogate you.. that one no choice lah.. but then other places where stairs are open, the don't take the lift if you are going up/down for just 1 or 2 floors!!
DeleteThe worst nightmares were the lifts broke down and I got trapped alone inside for half hour feeling suffocated and worried.
ReplyDeleteLuckily I never got trapped in a lift when I lived in a condo. Don't like and never like condo because of the lift inconvenience.
Deleteoh, luckily i've never been trapped inside a lift before.. i reckon it must be a very bad experience right??
DeleteMy friend said that getting trapped alone is a blessing compared to being trapped inside with all races of humans!! Their sweat, BO and breaths could knock you off. Eeeew!
ReplyDeleteMuahahaha, this I gotta agree with your friend. I have claustrophobia - fear of being in confined space.
DeleteHappened to me once. Lucky got handphone reception and managed to go out after being stuck only in a short while.
DeleteMy SIS was trapped 40 minutes in a lift, along with her 2year old daughter. Scary! @.@
Twilight Man,
You got traumatised or not after that? xD
wah!! vocabulary of the day!! CLAUSTROPHOBIA, thank you Teacher Queen Yvonne..
Deletethat's why Anay now doesn't stay in condo anymore but bought a huge bungalow so that he doesn't have to take lift anymore, so don't have to worry about being trapped inside..
He didn't install a lift in his huge bungalow ah? xD
Deletebecause of that phobia, he installed escalators all around his house instead of elevator!!
DeleteWell...I don't use the lift every day because I am not working in KL where there are tonnes of skyscrappers. :p
ReplyDeletehmmm, so you take stairs more everyday?? better still, a lot healthier than taking lifts..
DeleteHi SK, first time visiting your blog and first time got hooked up to it almost immediately :)
ReplyDeleteI like majority of your post....short, direct to the point and the best part, duo version for banana's like me.
Same here, using the lift more than taking my meals a day and what most annoyed me would be the #1 & #3.
Why can't they just wait for the next trip. some even worst still, take their time to squeeze in and go only that ONE floor up. (sigh)
My Latest Post: Happy Moment
thanks for dropping by and hope you're not scared off by the way some readers comment here, hahaha!!
Deleteoh yeah, hate those who take their own sweet time not giving thoughts to the others waiting inside the lift.. hahaha!! yes, rush in and just go up for one floor, i hate that!!
I only take lifts when I'm outstation. I don't take lift at my home place.
ReplyDeletegood, sometimes taking lifts can be a pain.. having to wait and it takes time too..
DeleteI don't like to wait for lifts too. Sometimes I prefer to walk the stairs if it's just a floor or two.
ReplyDeletegood!! i like you, hahaha.. i hate those who don't even bother to take the stairs but instead willing to wait for the lift to go just one floor down..
DeleteI understand what you're trying to say.. But I rarely take lifts here, hahah :P
ReplyDeletehaha, then it's good lah.. sometimes taking lift can be really a hassle..
DeleteI can feel your frustation. Some people is just not considering.
ReplyDeleteyeah, many people are so inconsiderate and make others wait..
DeleteI will prefer to walk if my floor isn't that high.
ReplyDeleteyeah, sometimes i'd rather take the stairs than waiting for the lift, it can be faster actually..
DeleteIf those people already use the lift almost everyday, they ought to know some unwritten regulations. Just for the sake of everyone goodness.
ReplyDeletewell, sadly this is malaysia and many people just are not considerate enough, they just think of themselves first..
DeleteI add one more point:
ReplyDeleteWhen the lift is almost full, some people still rush in and squeeze themselves among others.
They don't seem to give up unless the "overweight" light comes up. Yeah, right, fully utilize the capacity.
Please la, can't they wait for another one?
hahahaha, very true!! but cannot blame them lah, sometimes they might be in a rush, and you know lah, most probably they are the one waiting first but due to the fact that people don't queue up for lifts here, those who waited first could be the last to enter.. hahahaha!! but for me, even if the lift is more than half full, i'd rather wait, cos i'm scared of being the one who sound the alarm!! :D
DeleteTell you one thing, after I watched The Eye (Cantonese) film I dare not take the lift alone, kekekeke!
ReplyDeleteThere is one scene whereby the scary ghost appears in the lift. Also in another scene a female ghost is licking the roasted pork with her long tongue, yuck!! I'm timid, I admit.
haha, aiyoh, don't think so much lah.. but remember don't always go to the four corners!! those are the favorite places for the "brothers" i heard.. @_@
DeleteNow hardly use lift unless visiting huge shopping mall. The buildings in my hometown here are max 5-storey only. Use stairs la, hehehe~
ReplyDeleteyalah, take stairs better still lah, healthier mah can exercise more, hahaha..
Deletestairs blocked by sampah wor
ReplyDeleteand reeked of pee and vomit! @.@
Deleteand very dark with rats and roaches crawling around!! @_@
Deletestairs creepy wor...later kena rompak leh
ReplyDeleteaiyah, if the security isn't good, inside the lift also can kena rompak one woh..
Deleteerrr....what else ah...oh ya...i can pretend to be busy when am in the lift wor
ReplyDeletehuh?? pretend to be busy when you are in the lift?? i think you are more busy if taking the stairs lor..
DeleteIf the lift is full, i will press close button fast fast, hahaha.
ReplyDeleteEh, stairs har, go down can, go up cannot.
btw in m'sia lady better dun use stairs, very dangerous.
depends lah, some stairs can be safe and a lot faster than taking lifts.. hmmm, not only when the lift is full lah, anytime if i do not wish anyone to interrupt, i'll close the door quickly, haha!!
DeleteMany condo's stairs got lots of disused furnitures, tilams, potted plants, hanging laundry and urine smell. Truly Malaysia!
DeleteHaha, you're right! But, lift is so creepy sometimes, like one of my friend "wan lift" alone before, stay inside got almost 4hours yet hp no batt. It's really creepy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sharing of this post,
thanks for dropping by my blog, it's actually not exactly a scarf but BUFF, which you can get in Nature Owlet :)
Post: Nature Owlet
Page: Nature Owlet
oh, but luckily i've not been trapped inside a lift before.. hmmm, 4 hours!! how can that be so long?? aren't the security doing anything?? they all sleeping ah??
DeleteI hate it when people press both buttons. Going up, the lift will stop at their floor...and they would not get in as they actually want to go down. Blardy waste of people's time. Quite brainless, those people...don't even know which way they're going!
ReplyDeleteAnd I hate people holding the door...to wait for their friends who are "on the way" but taking their sweet time. So inconsiderate of others!@#$%^&*!!!
They push both because they reasoned the lifts will move faster.
DeleteIf only push one button, lift don't move one! LOL
And when lift arrives, ask the people inside whether it is going up or down. Never take notice which light is shown outside. Can see mah!
i think they press both buttons to see which direction comes first, they will just get in to guarantee a space in case too many people on the same floor wants to get it..
Deleteoh, those who hold on the door and waiting for their "sweet-time taking" friends, they are just challenging my patience threshold only..
...and I hate talking lifts!!! "Overload!!! Please get out!!!" @#$%^&*!!!!
ReplyDeletehehehehe!! ooopsss, i guess nobody likes that right?? it's embarrassing.. but sometimes it's not overload that sounded the alarm but the lift has been waiting for too long..
DeleteI love talking lifts cos they are idiots! They tickled my ribs. I loved the way Hong Kong's MTR will talking about closing doors! "Tiu Sam Cheh Moon" LMAO!
DeleteHey, chill! I am one of those people who flatly refuse to press the Close button. Why bother when it can do the work by itself. The next person can do it if he's in such a hurry. As if it would hasten the ride a lot faster! hahh!
ReplyDeleteI would push the close button if I am standing right in front of it instead of letting it close.
DeleteSome lifts do take a bit of time to close.
1 second also precious time! ;p
well, psychologically it makes a difference, and one second counts too.. some lift closes rather slowly.. and that's why they have the CLOSE button there!! if everyone waits for the door to close automatically, then there's just no need to have that button right??
DeleteSo very the right! ;p
DeleteWah! So garang! I better not share same lift with first lady! i might get jammed between closing doors! Muahahahahaha!
DeleteAnother peeve - some people will just go into any lift that opens its door. DOn't care to check whether go up or down.
ReplyDeleteThen once inside (after stalling and delaying in front of the door) - go ask around. Eh? This lift not going up ah? *slap head*
yalah, and when they are in there realising they are in the wrong direction, they press the button to stop at the next floor.. wasting time only lah!!
DeleteAiyo! jangan marah! It happened to me cos i simply ran inside the crowded lifts! Ha ha ha!
Deletetotally agree..
ReplyDeletebut to me, the condition of the lift is more important that the people who uses it. I'm appalled at some lift conditions which were never upkeep-ed.
errr, i think i'm more concern of the people than the condition lah.. it's like going to "that country", first class facilities but low class people, hahahaha!!!
DeletePeople whos actually taking lift go down, when the lift open is going up, those people who going down will walk into the lift that going up! WTF xzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteyalor, those people never see one lah.. when they found they are in the wrong lift, they stop and the next floor, wasting other people's time lah!!
Deletepaling du lan is I got into the lift first, then I kena go out again because so many thin people inside also will make lift overweight . . . :x
ReplyDeletehuh?? you are the first one who get into the lift, why are you the one who need to get out because of overload?? not make sense..
DeleteHe must be heavy like baby elephant! Ha ha ha ha!
Deletesometimes it is not lazy to take stairs, it is too tire to grab stairs and going up for it . . . : /
ReplyDeletetrue also lah, some building also doesn't allow you to take the stairs one, for example KLCC.. i worked there last time, and cannot take stairs other than emergency cases.. you go into the stairs and can never come out, unless you walk right down to the ground floor and ask security to open the door, and that's when they interrogate you..
DeleteTerrorists loved to hide their plans in the staircases! When got fire, they forgot or no time to unlock, all kena barbequed!
Delete唔好意思,我一層都會搭𨋢。
