[Volume 7 Issue 3, #1354]
i find the the new facebook layout is more proned to privacy vulnerability.. with the new timeline feature, i can see all friends' activities, including their comments on statuses or photos from people i do not know at all.. wow, that's very exposed right?? i wonder when my friends commented or liked my photos or statuses, will some strangers in another part of the world also watching me?? anyway, i understand once you're on the internet you can never be discreet.. hence the best thing to do, justify what you wanna share and this i'm very sure i always do.. :)

    1. I have 2 facebooks! I separate good ones and nonsense friends apart.

The nonsense ones always post extreme vulgar words. The good Facebook got wealthy friends, movie stars and even royalties. I was caught off guard by the vulgar friends and had to crack my head to solve it.

    1. No hate or love FB. I can live without it too.

One thing I enjoy is, news spread very fast via FB :D
      Can get updated instantly.

    2. Yeah, I can live without facebook too.

But then, having an account with FB sure makes it easy to know/spread word around.

And through FB managed to get new friends (real ones) and get connected with long-lost friends to. ;)

  12. Partly due to this exposure thing that revealed too much activities that got other cyclists jealous. So the war broke out involving people in their 40s!!

    1. Aiyo! Why like that?

A few people felt left out that they weren't invited to join certain activities izit?

    2. *sweat* like that also can? 40s uncles and aunties declare war via FB?

    3. Aunties and uncles war lagi scary than little children's one.

Aunty and uncle know how to bring arguments even to the court!

We had a case in a gated community where neighbours are suing against one neighbour because of a rather petty issue. :(

      Orang kaya argue lagi susah!

  14. Therefore we have to be very aware and careful of what we share. Bottom line is, if it is too private, keep it to yourself and DON'T post. Simple as that kan?

  16. I always go FB to discreetly browse others pictures, just get to peep at their latest activity, they are not my friends in actual.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I know others may do the same too. I try not to post too many pictures on FB and share too many details about my life. Just to protect my own privacy.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Talking about that, I think I should go and un-tag pictures that people tagged me.

  38. by the way, if your friend share some inappropriate photo, would you straight unfriend or just ask what happen at first? :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. anyways, facebook is also a tool that tells lots of lie, example: fake profile. use some random photo online and add random friends for no reason.

There is this old looking uncle with smart casual wearing. He is adding some random people online and I feel so scared right now lol

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Oh well might as well I will ignore it. Because he is adding some white people and it is stalking any other local people profile.

He's Reading tumblr online and seeing some *artistic* photo right now.

  40. For some random people add me, I will not simply approve also. Since I use facebook from before year 2004. lol

I remember my account gone for no reason and I created 2nd profile, then they merge my first and second profile together.

then slowly some new layout change and now is Timeline change.

You hate Timeline? for me I really like it. But some tools is too much and extra. not worth to saying it here hehehe
