同大家分享一篇喺面卜讀到嘅一篇笑話.. 在最近的國會中, 一位部長在他的演詞中說了這麼一個故事: 有一位父親給了他三個兒子各RM100, 並叫他們買樣東西來填滿整個房間.. 老大於是用RM100買了一堆乾草但還是填不滿整個房間.. 老二則用RM100買了一堆棉花, 結果還是填不滿整個房間.. 老三卻用了RM1買了一根蠟燭, 然後點燃了, 燭光一下便充滿了整個房間.. 這位部長很驕傲的說:"我們的首相就好像老三那樣, 自從他上任以來, 我們的國家充滿光明般的繁榮景象!".. 忽然間, 後座傳來一把聲音:"那剩下的RM99去了哪裡? 現在全國人民都在問同一個問題!!!" [載自面卜用戶Ryan Teoh Kok Poh] 係唔係一針見血, 妙筆生輝呀?? 睇完得到咩啟示?? 官場阿諛奉承互相包庇, 人民奉上血汗錢卻付諸流水?? 表面上係笑話一則, 實則上係萬民之苦也~~

sharing a joke i read from facebook.. In the parliament recently, an MP during his speech told a story: "There was a father who gave RM100 each to his 3 sons and asked them to buy something to fill up their house completely.. first son bought hay for RM100 but couldn't fill the house entirely.. second son bought cotton for RM100 but couldn't fill the house entirely.. third son bought a candle for RM1, lit it up and the house was filled bright light completely".. the proud MP added, "Our prime minister is like the third son, from the day he took charge, our country is filled with the bright light of prosperity".. suddenly a voice from the backbench asked, "Where is the remaining RM99?? the whole nation is asking this same question now!!" [shared via facebook user Ryan Teoh Kok Poh] don't you find this witty and so well-written?? what implications can you sense after reading?? flattery and bribery amongst the government officials, the people contribute hard earn money yet has no idea where their money has gone?? it does sounds like a joke but truly it's the pain of every rakyat..

發覺面卜最近嘅timeline功能好似踩緊個人私隱條鋼線, 我可以好清楚睇到朋友嘅每一個動作, 包括佢哋comment或like我完全唔識得嘅陌生人啲status同相片.. 嘩, 言下之意真係非常暴露無遺囉.. 我喺度諗, 如果我啲朋友都同樣comment或like我啲status同相片, 豈不是有機會俾其他陌生人睇住?? 不過我都明白一旦上咗網路, 係絕對冇咩私隱可言㗎喇, 所以凡事都應該慎重衡量, 呢一點我通常都會做到嘅.. :)

i find the the new facebook layout is more proned to privacy vulnerability.. with the new timeline feature, i can see all friends' activities, including their comments on statuses or photos from people i do not know at all.. wow, that's very exposed right?? i wonder when my friends commented or liked my photos or statuses, will some strangers in another part of the world also watching me?? anyway, i understand once you're on the internet you can never be discreet.. hence the best thing to do, justify what you wanna share and this i'm very sure i always do.. :)

之前網上廣泛流傳面卜於3月15日關閉, 消息傳得繪聲繪影, 其實我睇過後只係得啖笑!! 好喇, 依家終於叫做有人澄清一下係大大流料一則!! 有咩理由折埋至得㗎?? 人家仲搞緊上市, 一個價值過百億, 每年賺過十億(注:全部係美金!!)嘅公司, 邊個咁蠢要折埋?? 你以為「急流勇退, 光榮引退」咩?? 各位都係乖乖地繼續玩面卜算啦~~ :p

there was a news saying that facebook will be closing down this 15th march, and the news was made so real everyone started to talk about it, but i just think this was quite hilarious!! ok, now that somebody kind-of so-called clarify that it was just a hoax, thank god!! there's just no rationale for them to close down right?? the golden kid is trying to get it listed, an organisation worth more than $10-billion and earning in billions yearly (note: all in US$!!), which dumb is going to close down the business while it's still growing?? ok, let's just get back to our screen and continue playing with facebook~~ :p

[#1240] 某日同朋友提到面卜有個功能, 就係當你喺其他國家login嘅時候, 需要你認出朋友啲相嚟確認身份.. 呢個功能係就係幾有創意, 不過就唔係好行得通囉, 點解呢?? 唔係個個人都將自己個樣擺上網架嘛.. 好多人鐘意將自己身邊嘅嘢當自己幅profile相, 難到見到一隻狗, 我可以認得出係邊位朋友咩?? 好多人喺面卜上都會立亂add朋友又或者俾人立亂add架嘛.. 所以好大可能有一半以上所謂嘅朋友, 你連佢係乜水都唔知啦, 仲要認人?? 認謝檸檬張白枝就話啫~~ 最後一個point亦都係我至討厭嘅, 就係家下好多無良商家用面卜嚟tag人!! 唔通見到一對胸圍我就認出係阿蓮, 見到一支雀仔增大器就認出係阿明咩?? 另外, 針對第三點我有嘢要講.. 朋友們, 唔該唔好隨便like或join啲乜嘢網路商家喇, 你俾人亂tag一輪係你嘅事, 不過搞到你啲朋友就無謂啦~~ 仲有, 面卜可以唔可以有face recognition, 若非面部就唔好俾人tag呢?? 啲人係又tag唔係又tag, 好無聊囉.. [#1240] was with friends the other day and one topic we chat was a security feature in facebook, in which you are required to recognise your friends through their photos when you login from another location.. i find this feature quite innovative, but then not really feasible, why?? not everyone likes to place their face on the web, and many will just use objects around them as their profile picture.. so does that mean i may need to know which friend that is when i see a dog?? there are many people who simply add friends and are being simply added in facebook.. and i can say most probably there are more than half of them in the friend list whom we do not even know, don't even mention about recognizing them.. unless you are shown Bread Pitt and Angelina Jollibee that is a different story~~ the last point and also what i hate most, all those nonsense tagging on merchandise and promotional materials!! does that mean once i see a bra i can tell that's Mary, and when i see a penis enlargement pump i can tell that's Dick?? before i end, allow me to say something regarding point #3.. dear friends, please don't anyhow like or join any online merchant page, you'll just be used on tagging on their items, that may not be a problem to you but that could cause problem to your real friends~~ and dear facebook, can we have face recognition so that you only allow tagging on a real human face?? those who just anyhow tag their friends onto anything are just a big nuisance.. [#1221] 最近入飛士卜有新搞作, 就係未細心欣賞各位朋友嘅留言同相片之前, 我已經習慣由頂至底徹底scan一次, 將所有無謂嘅tagging清理一下.. 通常都係一啲無聊商家故意將(明明都唔活躍嘅)朋友tag落產品相片, 借此引起注意, 但係對唔住囉, 我會認定係spam, 所以我一定會告發, 清理一下門戶.. 可能大家覺得冇所謂, 平時啲人硬係鐘意有意無意亂tag朋友一通, 一張相tag幾百個朋友, 但係里邊一張臉都冇喎, 好無聊啫.. 都算喇, 不過呢啲商家, 冇啦啦將個男性朋友tag落女性性感內衣, 又或者將有個女性朋友tag落一件男性三角底褲, 我就覺得非常討厭囉.. 如果各位見我被無聊亂tag, 請毫無反顧幫手清理下噃, 多謝~~ :)

[#1221] recently i have a new activity in facebook, that is, before reading status updates and viewing photos from friends, i will do a round of scanning from top to bottom, to clear off all those nuisance tagging.. normally i will be happily removing those tagging of (inactive) friends into merchant products, they just want to use this method to attract attention, but sorry i really think this is spamming and i will do my best to report them.. well, perhaps you might think this is nothing, because many people just like to simply tag their friends into photos, can be up to hundred and yet there is not a single face in that photo, absolutely nonsense right?? i still can accept that since there's still friendship in it, but for those merchants tagging a guy to a sexy female lingerie, or tagging a lady to a striking male brief, i think that's too much and irritating.. so if you happen to see myself being tagged under such situation, please do whatever to report that spamming, thanks~~ :)

剛剛過咗嘅今年生日俾咗個前所未有嘅經歷我, 就係成日電話響不停.. 唔係有人打電話俾我, 短訊都不過係聊聊幾隻.. 而係好多朋友通過面卜送上生日祝福, 搞到每隔幾分鐘一個notification alert啫, 哈哈.. 估唔到今年啲朋友都齊齊發揮面卜力量, 有些少受寵若驚, 多謝各位嘅厚愛!! 突然間有感而發 -- 雖然唔及得後生仔郁親都過百祝賀, 估唔到呢把年紀, 原來我都仲有(實際同虛擬世界嘅)朋友唔介意留言祝賀喎~~ 哈哈!! P/S: 除咗面卜, 當然仲要多謝幫我慶祝, 送我禮物, 送短訊祝賀同埋喺呢個blog留言嘅所有朋友啦..

my birthday this year that was just over gave me an unprecedented experience, my phone kept ringing for the whole day.. not that there's anyone calling me, even there's just that few SMS i received, but were friends sending their greetings via facebook and caused notification alerts every few minutes, haha.. i was rather overwhelmed with everyone fueling up the facebook power, really thank you all for the birthday greetings!! i suddenly have a thought -- though incomparable to youngsters who can easily have over 100 greetings, unexpectedly i do still have friends (real and virtual) at this not-so-young age who care to drop a message~~ hahaha!! P/S: of course besides facebook, i would also like to thank everyone who celebrated my birthday, gave me present, sent me SMS and dropped me message in this blog..

雖然我成日話面卜無聊, 不過有時真係無聊到非常爆笑, 搞到我不得不與大家分享.. 就好似呢個like功能, 係好多懶得留言嘅朋友嘅最好工具.. 不過大佬, 你like還like吖, 唔係話不分青紅皂白隨便亂like一輪架嘛.. 好似以下例子, 我就覺得好@#$%^囉, 哈哈~~

although i always say facebook is boring, but there are times when i realised it's too funny things bored people do that i must share with everyone here.. for example the like feature, which comes very handy for the lazy people.. but please lah, if you want to use that feature, don't just simple like any status for no reason.. look at the few cases below, and you will agree with me that those likes are just too @#$%^ right?? haha~~

[無奈] 人家好聲好氣問意見, 好明顯只需答係定唔係啦.. 失驚無神嚟個like, 都唔知想點?? 畀咩反應好啊?? [helpless] and it's very obvious this is asking for opinion, expecting just a yes or no kind of answer.. i find it really helpless with this sudden like, i really do not know what response to give..

[難解] 午餐食咗乜東乜西都有人like嘅?? 我真係唔明囉, 人家午餐食咩屙咩又關佢叉事呢其實?? [puzzled] the status said what was eaten for lunch, and there's somebody who likes it.. i really find that quite incomprehensible, what's the point??
