[Volume 8 Issue 6, #1731]
i believe this kind of water dispenser is quite common in offices.. i also believe most ladies may not even be able to move those bottles of almost 20-litres of water, not to mention lift them up and place them onto the water dispenser.. so far there is just one female friend of mine who can do this, but she is just of normal size, definitely not a weak lady we can perceived huh?? thumbs up!! or perhaps ladies are just trying to act weak in front of guys, hence they will just get other male colleagues to do the work for them, haha!! but what i wanted to say is, ladies, when you are asking your colleague to change the bottle of water, don't just ask.. i am sure you are able to remove that empty bottle from the dispenser, and this gesture would surely make things more convenient for your colleague to place a new bottle onto the machine.. with a request that comes with actual action to help, i am sure you'd be liked!! and gentlemen, don't think of showing off in front of the ladies, just bending your body to pick up the bottle is going to hurt your spine.. instead, lower your body as much as you could, grab the bottle and slowly rise, your ownself is always more important!! inspired by water dispenser to talk about the two genders today, i wonder if i would create a gender war in the comments space later?? haha~~ :D

Hey, you said 'male colleagues to do the work for them' as though the guys don't drink the water? tsk!

    1. There's this dispenser at my place too! But we use the 9-litres one, so me still able to carry and change.. But those 20-litres one, have to ask my hubs to do it.

      Delete
    2. Yea, I agree with you. If we are asking someone to help and change the bottle, at least remove the empty one first (simply because it's so easy) so that that person can directly put the new one into the dispenser. I do that all the time, hehe.

      Delete
    3. And true, don't try to be action, bend down the knees and carry the bottle slowly into the dispenser, that's the right way whenever we are picking up something heavy from the floor.

      Delete
    4. true, we ladies shouldn't bend and lift something heavy just like that. It might hurt our spine.

  7. nowadays, hard to find gentleman already. The guy sitting ib front of me would not blink an eye or offer help if he sees female colleagues hauling things. Even if got internal makan makan, he'd just wait until other colleagues finish setting up the table/good and wait till someone call him to eat. *slap forehead*

      The youngsters OTOH, more selfish.

Won't do anything unless being told to do so.

I guess their upbringing doesn't encourage them to be more involved and proactive in things other than the ones that affect them directly? :(

If i have this kind of water dispenser, i will polite ask a man to help me, and I will say thank you. I will bake cake for him on the next day.
