[Volume 8 Issue 3, #1693]
i take a cup of yoghurt almost everyday, started with fruit flavored ones to now plain and unsweetened ones.. yesterday i was suddenly inspired to do something different, why not make some yummy snack out of those (very sour) yoghurt i usually eat?? and so i took out stuffs i have for my weekdays breakfast (i pamper myself with sinful food during weekends), hence this yummy honey lemon yoghurt with pomelo, dried fruits and nuts is made, i guess people from 3 till 80 years old will like this~~ it is extremely easy to prepare, even your kids can do it on their own too!! trust me, yoghurt has lots of goodness, what are you waiting for?? come try my simple (novice-thought-he-is-so-great) recipe, i only have one in a decade, haha!! :D

    1. I usually have flavoured yoghurt, dislike sour plain one because I have sweet tooth. Some yoghurt brands are more sourish, thus I avoid buying them. I choose sweeter one only (so, now you know why my weight doesn't go down).

    2. Good evening. I came in so late. I spent 5 hours just to submit my visa forms today. I should have taken yoghurt inside to eat and relax.

    3. err, not yoghurt drink lah but yoghurt itself.. i used to take those flavored yoghurt but later on i find them getting sweeter and sweeter, and i slowly switch to the plain ones, and actually not too bad at all, i can take the sourness.. actually all the local brands add in sugar for plain yoghurt which i don't quite like..

holy J anay is still here?? i thought you have already flown to Shanghai for your holidays!!

      Delete
    4. so you made your own plain yogurt or what?

    1. Oh, you should know Ah Hua does not like nuts.

I usually add cut fruits and cereal - honey stars into my yoghurt.

    2. Ah Hua,
But ah... I know you like one nut.

      MM punya nut!

      wakaka!!!!

      Sorry sorry

    3. I always love the yoghurt prepared by hotels for breakfast. Usually they taste fresh and thick with lots of side fruits and nuts to sprinkle. Oh mama heavens!!

    4. Ah hua like sour pomelo gua that is why she say sour. ...

      Delete
    5. no lah, not sour at all because the pomelo is sweet and we have honey in it remember?? hey, Ah Hua loves pistachios then can put in pistachios lah, the other nuts from MM that Lina mentioned sure cannot put in lah.. instead those are for you to pour yoghurt over before tasting~~ :D

Anay, give me five!! i love those yoghurt prepared by hotels for breakfast!! i would use that for my muesli, i hate my muesli with milk..

  5. SK Ah Boy, I like your 'slow-popup'. Can share the HTML ka?

By the way, your recipe is cut-off halfway. I can read until, "...hence", mana pergi the rest? Is it because I'm using FireFox?

    ReplyDelete

    1. aiyo but this one is very complicated lah.. involves some scripting, HTML as well as adding codes to your blog templates and sidebars woh.. won't be doing a tutorial for this, but if you want to have this, i can send you my codes and guide you how to do this..

hehehe, it's cut-off halfway because my scripts still needs improvement lah.. have to trial and error with the height of the DIV, that's why lor.. but i kind of like this thing when it's in proper state lah..

      Delete
    2. me using FF also...okay wor...no problem

      Simple ingredients:
plain unsweetened yoghurt, lemon, honey, pomelo sacs, raisins, sunflower seeds, almonds

      Simple steps:

Mix lemon juice and honey into yoghurt and then blend well, skip this step if you use flavored yoghurt
Place pomelo sacs into a glass and pour in yoghurt mixture
Finally top with dried fruits and nuts

      Note:
i actually think it's more fun to be spontaneous and creative when it comes to preparing food, following strictly the recipe is boring.. hence i did not lay down any measurement, just follow what your heart desires, if you like something more then just use more of that ingredient~~ :)

      Delete
    3. actually the message i want to bring out is:

just follow what your heart desires, if you like something more then just use more of that ingredient~~ :)

I could only go as far as the first line of your recipe on Firefox. On IE, it doesn't open. Maybe it's just me?

    Good morning!

    1. hahaha, so does that mean you like or hate sour things?? oh, maybe i was still enhancing my scripts this morning.. i have tested with my IE FF and Safari and iPhone, all work perfectly now..

The best thing of lemon as it can keep cancer at bay.

Lemon is also rich with vitamin C. It can strengthen our immune system.

Yogurt is good for bowel movement.

    2. I want to add one more point. This glass of yogurt mix is thousand times better than a bowl of CKT or Curry Mee. It contains less calories, fat and oil.
