Morning everyone!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Lina.
DeleteGood afternoon, Lina!
DeleteGood afternoon, wenn!
Not only I need to 'settle' my office workload for the first half of today after loooonng hiatus, I also need to 'clear' long my blogroll~
DeleteT____T
Good evening, Yvonne.
Deletewah, Queen Yvonne sure very busy today with work and then to catch up with a few posts after her long break..
Deletebe prepared to kena spam kaw-kaw by the Queen! LOL
Deleteno lah, i think the Queen already beradu at this hour~~ :p
DeleteIf got few shops can compare at a walking distance with each other, I'd go and compare prices.
ReplyDeleteBut if not, it may be too much a hassle to do so. Not to mention wasting petrol. xD
Likewise, I hardly do any comparison if I need to travel from one to another destination. Normally reach that place and grab.
DeleteErr... my concept only apply to grocery, not electrical appliances. This aunty usually buy vegetables, dairy products, canned food and the price vary from 10 cents to 50 cents, perhaps?
But I do enjoy looking at the catalogs :D See the price first then decide where to go. Also means I'm doing comparison, right?
Deleteof course within walking distance then go compare, also depends on what you are buying.. groceries then walk a few supermarkets, if electronics then can compare catalog, and also if there are websites then can compare the price online.. i never miss doing this lah, because i always want to get the cheapest mah~~
DeleteI hardly do that as I can get most of my sundry stuff from my own shop.
ReplyDeletehahaha!! you are different, of course you already have the cheapest from reselling right??
DeleteIt's different if I shop for clothing.
ReplyDeletei think clothings are all the same price right everywhere right.. but i usually go for them during sales and with at least 50% discount only, haha~~
DeleteNaturally I would go for the best price.
ReplyDeleteI go for 70% sales ones :p
DeleteNever mind if the fashion is a bit out...
ya, as long as it's comfortable..
Deletehahaha!! me too, because nowadays sales is like all year round.. i only wait until at least 50% discount.. :D
DeleteBut if I happen to buy something at a more expensive price than else where, I might get a little angry at myself.
ReplyDeleteyeah, i think it's rather unhappy experience to find out you've bought something more expensive right??
DeleteFrankly speaking, most of my customers do that. There are a few shops at my area so they usually compare prices.
ReplyDeleteif within walking distance for sure will compare prices.. especially household groceries, sure will compare and buy from the shop that offer the lowest price..
DeleteFunny..some customers would say: Let me check the other shop first..
ReplyDeleteHehehe, if I don't say it out loud, I'm saying it silently in my head :p
Deletewell, it's human nature..
Deletehahaha, i'd just check the price but won't tell the boss i'm going elsewhere to check.. most probably you'd see me coming back and grab the item, because it's cheapest here.. :D
Deleteanyway, all customers have their own rights in choosing.
ReplyDeletethat is of course, haha!! just like what i normally practice.. :)
DeleteMy response is your response.
ReplyDeleteyeah, give me five!!
DeleteWhat i mean here is my response same like your response.
ReplyDeletehaha, yeah!! so i think i am very aunty also hor?? ooopsss~~ i didn't mean that :p
DeleteNot aunty, SK. Uncle only, kekekeke!
Deletesometimes when u consider the time and effort to get from another shop which has cheaper price, it just might come to square one or even more expensive.
ReplyDeletebut most of the time we just look at the explicit numbers we spend, but ignored all other implicit factors that may have increased the cost right?? :p
DeleteIt's always wise for customers to check the price as well as the expiry date.
ReplyDeleteoh, i always do that, it's been a habit.. though i believe very rarely we get expired items from shops..
DeleteRarely will get expired items from the shops, but near-expired got. So better check for both the price and expiry date :D
DeleteIn some cases, shopkeepers offer cheaper price for nearing expiry.
ReplyDeleteactually i do buy those items sometimes, but make sure i'm able to consume them before the expiry date..
Deleteok, so much for that..anyway, happy shopping!
ReplyDeletehahaha, maybe this is your area of expertise when talk about price?? :p
DeleteI sure geram is case 3 happened to me.
ReplyDeleteyalor, very geram especially when you just have that with you on your hand!! haha, how ironic!!
DeleteI will sure think twice if I want to go back to the shop who sold me more expensive stuff.
ReplyDeletesometimes cannot blame also lah, not that the shop is selling more expensive, just that other shop is having promotion only..
Deletei will feel proud for a while after knowing that i bought it at lower price XD that feeling is indescribable!
ReplyDeleteLatest: More than BIG Breakfast
haha, yeah!! feeling so contended with our wise choice right?? especially when you know somebody bought the same thing more expensively..
DeleteI'm more towards the second point though 'proud' is not really how I would feel. I would feel lucky to have snagged a better deal. I'm not good with remembering prices unless it's for big-ticket items where the variance is greater than for sardines, for instance.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer to shop at my regular stores than to shop-hop.
hahaha, i'm more practical because whichever is the cheaper place, i will shop there.. and i always remember how much i've paid for the item.. :p
DeleteBtw, I prefer this month's blog background than last month's which was dark (and ominous). LOL
ReplyDeletehaha, thanks but i think you like this particular background.. i placed the same one few months ago and you compliment that as well.. :p
DeleteNormally after bought, i will not check others place anymore, because when found cheaper will feel sad mah, better dunno lah.
ReplyDeleteI do that too, no point to check the price again for I would feel sad if I get to know I bought it more expensive :p
Deleteme too..
Deletevery true, usually after bought the thing better don't go and hunt around.. haha!! but sometimes coincidentally then no help~~ :p
Delete#1: Seldom do that, usually grab and go.... Must change my attitude already - check out the price first and then only go to the best one.
ReplyDeletehahaha, so unexpected!! i thought you are one of those who will compare price, haha..
DeleteIf time permits, I want to see-see and compare. But nowadays time is very limited and would usually see-grab-go.
DeleteI shop at hypermarket, pasar pagi, pasar malam, kedai runcit, kedai ubat, em, where else? Where I shop depend on what I wanted to buy :)
#2, of course I'll be the happiest person when I get to know that I grabbed the BIGGEST deal, hahaha! Normal reaction, I guess.
ReplyDeleteand especially you know that your other friends had bought the same item more expensively than you right?? :D
Delete#3: I would just sigh......
ReplyDeleteBut this possibility is rarely happen.... because I'm so cheapskate that I would always go for 50% or 70% discounted stuffs. Hahaha!
hahaha, actually depends lah.. if cheap stuffs and can store then i might buy more, else can just sigh and walk away lor..
DeleteI try to control my hand from grabbing more when the stuff I wanted is cheaper. Just buy the amount that I need.
DeleteOnce I bought, I never bothered anymore - usually can;t even remember the price unless it is stated in the price tag. Drive here, drive there looking for the cheapest - such a hassle...and the petrol isn't cheap!
ReplyDeletehaha, but sometimes we tend to forget about time and petrol.. because we just see how much money that we handed to the cashier.. :p
DeleteLOL...i normally do that too but wont go to till 3 places la.
ReplyDeletedepends if the places are within the same vicinity and walking distance lah..
Deleteunless the item is a very expensive item
ReplyDeleteif expensive items maybe i will compare price online first if they have it in their website..
Deleteif diffence by a ringgit or so, it's no point as petrol and parking already gone lo
ReplyDeletehaha, that one of course lah.. but if within walking distance, 10 sen also i kira~~ :p
DeleteThe steam cake got put baking powder la
ReplyDeleteoh, haha!! yalah, i also wonder how come don't have..
DeleteBut i lupa write in the post LOL...thanks for highlighting...must be too much water hence end up like ...haiz..........
ReplyDeletebut i thought you follow the recipe one, should be following the measurement also right??
DeleteI never see pricing at first, unless the cost is like 100-300, I will be refer and research some other store again . . .
ReplyDeletehaha, because you are orang kaya mah, so a few ringgit also never mind one..
Deletefor food I will see pricing, and compare it after meal, see it is worth it or not. LOL
ReplyDeleteif not worth it, there is no next time lol
hahaha!! if food then besides comparing the price, i will make sure i check the expiry date also!! important lah..
Deleteu know, Milo Ais RM 2.00 within 1 months can pop to RM 2.20 or RM 2.40 in subang jaya . . . (due to petrol raise) sigh what to do neh.
ReplyDeleteIn Klang drink will be cheaper, but of course wont all the way go to Klang minum right?
sometimes it is location problem, we had no choice and buy it haha
true, different places has different pricing..
Deletetrue also lah, has to be convenient.. purposely drive to klang for that 20 sen saving?? petrol also wasted already lah, no to mention the time..
Deleteyup . . . now a days need to see price and become human . . .
ReplyDeletebeli makanan, beli barangan, need to see price oso zzz
i always see how much, never like those rich people, never see then just sapu onto their shopping basket or trolley..
Delete#3:咪當睇唔到囖,哈哈
no lo...
ReplyDeleteafter buy jor i wont even look again
but there are times when you just cannot avoid, so coincident you saw somewhere else cheaper.. :p
Deletehahahaha normally i would compare prices and get the cheapest one... but if the place is too far away, then i'd just settle down on that item provided the price diff isnt too much. i will only turn angry if i get cheated for a lot of money! if the price diff is just around rm 0.50 or rm 1 biarkanlah LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhen I buy I'll go for cheaper stuffs where else if my hubs, he'll go for quality.
