四月初報咗稅之後, 我就一直等稅務局回水俾我.. 等咗成個月都唔見支票寄嚟, 開始唔耐煩.. 噚日去㩒錢, 驚覺戶口多咗(好多)錢!! 上網查看戶口交易活動, 原來稅務局兩個星期前就經已靜雞雞將退款入晒我戶口!! 好有效率哦, 這是我唯一喜愛稅務局嘅一刻, 哈哈!! 可以用筆錢繳付保險年費, 呢度入嗰度出, 唉~~ :(
submitted my tax file beginning of april and have been waiting for IRB to refund my overpaid tax.. it's been a month yet i did not received their cheque, and i started to get quite impatient.. went to withdraw some money yesterday and surprise to see a (big) jump in my account balance!! went online to check the transaction details and IRB has quietly refunded the full amount into my account two weeks ago!! wow, this is very efficient, and the only moment that i love them, haha!! can now use this to pay for my insurance annual premium, money comes and money goes, haiz~~ :(

    Last time, when they refunded me also; I didn't know.

    Wondered why lah got excess amount in my account. Only realised that it was IRB refund after checking it at M2U.

    But they did send an e-mail and a letter after that.

    Didn't receive that e-mail yet, SK? :)

      they used to send me cheque by post, but this year they directly bank in the refund to my account but i didn't receive any notification from them..

      I like e-filing too. Just key-in and calcualtion done for me.

      Refund also get quickly.

      Simple and efficient.

      haiyoh, my little money also not enough to belanja you a bowl of noodles lah.. i think their KPI to refund is two weeks, keep an eye on you account soon.. :)

      yeah, the eFiling makes thing so simple and convenient lah.. furthermore, guarantee receive unlike last time so worry it will lost in post..

      I'm using e-filing too, but I don't know how's the calculation. Every year my e-filing says I pay extra and will get refund.... but every year also received the same same letter saying no balance. I think they 'telan' my money.

      Worst case, last year they sent me a letter asking to pay more @_@

      huh?? normally the monthly PCB will be paying more, but i don't know your company lah.. else, try to find as many tax exemption as you can lah.. but then if your eFiling says "terlebih bayar" then should have refunded you right??

      no lah.. i usually withdraw bigger amount so that i don't keep withdraw and let them charge me the service fees.. you know lah, 4th withdrawal onwards gotta charge 50sen mah..

      hahaha, you have to find ways for as many deductions as you can.. for example books, insurance, professional body fees, donations etc.. die die also wan them to refund, haha~~

    I also got my refund recently in my account! But mine didn't state IRB in my transaction details.. I only knew it because the amount was exactly the same as the one in my tax form :)
