之前見到電影海報極為神似嘅造型, 我就好想睇呢部電影.. 噚日本來諗住買飛入場, 點知索價RM15(依家睇戲越來越貴), 咁啱喺網上搵到完整高清版本(喜出望外!!), 咁梗係選擇最經濟途徑啦, 哈哈!! 以前差不多每日都可以喺報章見到呢個女人, 睇完電影之後對佢又有多一番了解.. 的確係一部值得捧場嘅電影, 女主角演得非常好, 尤其最近全城「黃色風暴」之時, 就更加冇理由錯過呢部電影喇.. :)
when i saw how the actress resembles the real lady in the movie poster, i already wanted to watch this movie so much.. planned to get tickets for the movie yesterday but it was a whopping RM15 (watching movies is getting more and more expensive now), coincidentally i found a full length HD online streaming (thrilled!!) and of course i opted for the more economical channel, haha!! i remember seeing this lady on the paper almost everyday, and after watching the movie i kind of know her a lot better.. this is one movie definitely worth watching, thumbs-up for the lead actress, and especially when the "yellow storm" is hitting the town, there is no reason to miss this movie.. :)

    Aung San Suu Kyi's life-story is both sad and inspiring. It kinda reminds us of Nelson Mandela.

    I wonder now that she's in Parliament and Burma (this name is still being used outside the country) is more liberal (I presume), will the country lift the ban for the good Datuk to be able to enter the country now.

    A friend who went to Burma some two years ago enjoyed her trip there. She brought back some big-sized dried shrimps, unlike the miniature ones we have here.

      yeah, after watching the movie, i get more interested in knowing this legendary lady more.. kind of wiki her up from the internet last night also, haha.. well, at least i see Myanmar is getting more liberal now.. oh, giant sized dried shrimps?? that's interesting, haha~~

    I would love to watch the movie. She's out now, elected already, right? Hope things will get better for her country - Mandela's not really in very good shape, I would think...but at least they're free - and that was what they wanted.
