2014.04.22 | 熟食小販

[Volume 9 Issue 4, #1885]
well, i suppose every non-vegetarian Malaysian must have eaten this fishball noodles before.. if you or someone you know who have not, please let me know, i would like to meet such a legendary person, haha!! okay, that's it for fishball noodles, you know i'm not a foodie, that's just a photo to lead in the topic for today.. okay, when talked about having hawker food, what do you hate most?? to me, food and place are secondary but the service and attitude bother me the most..
  • you were waiting there or keep yelling but everyone seems so busy.. no one came over to take order, you stood there for minutes like an idiot, walked away and nobody ever cared..
  • you tried to place order but the boss did not care to respond, seconds later mumbled without even looking at you "wait lah, i'm busy now" or "need to wait for half an hour, if can wait then wait"..
  • you finally got hold of someone to take your order, you ordered some dishes but coldly replied unavailable or sold out.. you continued asking for suggestion and what were available, but impatiently entertained and rushed to decide..
  • you waited until your stomach was rumbling, yet some orders were forgotten and some went wrong.. you complained and were told "need to wait if you insist to add on extra or change your dishes"..
[PS] the above cases did not happen to the place i had this nice fishball noodles, i enjoy the food and service.. :)

    1. I know right, but the thing I can't take it is some of those spoons are not that clean, isn't mean it's not clean but like they wash it just like rinse it through the soap then water, then it's considered clean not like using any brush to really wash it so after long period, there will be like black dirt stain on it, sometimes got to check out all of the spoon to get the one look "cleaner" a bit!!! All what girls always like to do is use tissue to wipe it first!!!

      Delete
    2. Also the table sometimes is not clean also, they always grab the after used bowl from the previous customers but never thought of wipe off the table a bit, and once you ask them to take a table cloth to wipe it, they'll take the dirty table cloth to wipe, more wipe more dirty, better don't wipe la!!! So again, we also wipe ourself la, not so troublesome also, and look at them also can tell they're very busy!!!

    3. My lady boss also very “pa chi pai” one.. Every dishes that come ahh, she must put one spoon to “kiap” separately.. Like terkena a bit also kennot.. She very “yim chim” one la.. When we go lunch without her, that’s the best, coz no need “jau ji jau ji”…

She must rinse her bowl and plates and chopsticks and what-nots in hot water, and will make a face if we forgot to do for her..

Yes, she expects the guys will be gentleman and do it for her.. Everything has to be rinsed in that hot pot of water.. Everything must be clean.. I was like, eh, if you wana be clean ahh, don’t eat here la.. Eat at high class restaurants la..

Sometimes ahh, go lunch with her very stress…
      Food not nice complain jugak..

    4. That day lady boss told me she go makan with her hubby.. The waitress was having long hair, and she kept touching her hair.. The hubby made a scene and asked to see the manager/supervisor.. Once the supervisor came, the hubby said "I don't want that girl to serve me, if she does, I won't eat your food and I will just walk out" !!

Wahlao.. Then she said "Eeeyer, so malu la, my hubby said like that, everyone was looking at us"..

After she told me ahh, I was thinking in my head "Pot calling the kettle black, you are yat dam dam with your hubby too".. kekekekeke..

    5. Hahaha, I wasn't like that last time, but I think I got influenced by my eldest sister, she always said got to wipe first one, everything also got to wipe, wipe first!!!

I don't expect gentleman would do that la, where got so many gentleman nowadays, if do it so, they might do it for their girlfriend first la...maybe they never do that for their mom lo, how to expect guys to be gentleman to that oh!!!

Touching her hair? Why don't she just move a bit la, to avoid her mah, why must complain people touching her hair, don't think that lady really wants to do that, maybe your boss just "tai kui umm sun yan lo"!!! (Face problem?? But can say is your boss really very "yim chim" lo)

    11. good morning Xiao Ying

my thought are like you. Sometimes kinda feel was was when wanna use those spoons . If see got those black marks will usually go and take wet wipe and wipe. after all some wet wipe gave alchohol. Can kill some germs la. Or else hentam lor...big germs eat small germs

table not clean can still be helped la. just wipe aje. but sometimes some table after wipe still have the oily feel. Would go and take two tissue paper and out at the corner so that i can put my arm on the tissue paper and eat. If you see such orang gila putting it like that you can agak agak that one is me la LOL

    12. Princess Ribbon, i think your lady boss okay la. Hygienic la put one spoon on each dish .

Just imagine la everyone punya spoon masuk mulut liao then go and senduk those dishes.

Paling i tak suka is before someone wanna use his or her own spoon to senduk the dishes, he or she put it into their mouth and lick clean from all rice and noodles before go and senduk the dishes. come on la.....like giving other people eating your saliva wor. not nice leh.

If one person got flu or any contagious illness...all will kena jangkit liao.

As for the girl punya pasal....that is a bit too much la unless that girl kept garu garu the hair like have kutu. that one will be super geli la

    13. your colleague very terror wor Chris....disposal utensils. ?? Dont she know those are dangerous to health too? Those disposble type does not goes well with heat leh. if she use for soup habis la chemical come out. then earlier on there were a scare about those bamboo chopsticks.

      Delete
    14. hmmm, if not dining in restaurants then i think it's pretty common that you may want to wipe all the crockery and cutlery (but i don't think you need to wipe the utensils cos they are in the kitchen, and definitely not going to bring your own right?? haha).. but then most of the time i also lazy to do that lah, let it be lah, unless there is really some very obvious dirt then i'll just take another one lor..

and yes!! i also hate those who just sweep the waste using a spoon and then leave without wiping the table, it's so gross and i certainly have no appetite when i see such a dirty table.. and some have been reusing the same piece of cloth to wipe 1000 times and yet never wash it, leaving very disgusting smell on the table even it is clean.. urgghhh..

as for a common spoon or chopstick for every dish, i think it's okay lah, more hygienic mah, especially if you are not too close with each other.. even at home we practice that, would make sense if somebody is sick and do not want to spread the virus to others.. but then some people very jialat lah, they just take the common chopstick, pick the dish and then straight away eat with the common chopstick, then realized it's the common chopstick, they put it back!!! OMG~~

  2. Oohh today talking about yue dan fan ahh.. I may be wrong, or maybe it’s just me.. But I always associate yue dan fan with yong taufu.. Most shops I go to ahh, they always have yong taufu, then along with yue dan fan or any common noodles like dry noodles, soupy (yue dan) noodles, or curry mee..

So this shop that you posted, got yong taufu mou? I remembered when I was pregnant, I craved for yong taufu and curry mee so much.. We always patronized this shop, which sells yong taufu and yue dan fan, and I can eat the whole shop.. I will call >15 pieces of yong taufu (fishballs, yong brinjals, yong char-kueh, yong egg, fried sui kow, etc), then a bowl of curry mee with fishballs (again), additional lagi order 2 pau (1 char siew pau and another 1 sang-yok pau)..

    1. Wah, “lei mm ngam” lor.. You made me recall back those days.. I miss that shop leh.. I miss my yue dan curry mee with yong taufu leh.. Ok, enuff about the introduction of yue dan fan.. Let’s go to your point #1.

#1 – Oohh if I’m standing at the stall waiting to take away or what, I won’t yell la.. If I’m sitting down already, I still won’t yell kua, maybe make my hand gesture to ask the waiter to come lor..

Won’t yell, but maybe will say “hello” or “order”… I always come across this situation, but luckily and thankfully, they always come after a few times la.. But honestly, if sit down liao and too long time nobody layan, I will just leave and walked away.. Or if the menu doesn’t ngam our taste, we will just stand up and leave..

We really did that about 2 weeks ago.. I was out for lunch with the colleagues, we sat down, and the waiter brought us the menu.. We see see, look look.. Then lady boss complain and achi achor, yim 3 yim 4 say the food not nice, can we change place.. Then we really stood up and left..

*See, told you she’s a drag*

    2. #2 – Certain place “mm yau jou” those type will be like that.. Especially those popular one.. Lastime when I was working in my previous company, there was this pan mee shop.. Very popular one.. You walk in ahh, she will say “have to wait 45 minutes, tell you sin ok”.. I bet she wanted to say “can wait then wait, cannot wait, I don’t mind you leave”.. kakakaka.. Close customers can pre-order b4 going there thru the phone, but even so, still have to wait for 20 minutes after we reached..

People ahh, is “farn zhin” one la.. “Ming ji” that place crowded and have to wait for 45 minutes, “pin pin” they still wana go there and try for themselves.. Well, if they have all the time in the world and nothing to do, no harm la.. But if we have work to do, aiyoh, who wana wait wor, kan?

My hubby always says “jui tor mm sik” (paling paling, don’t wana eat)..

      Delete
    3. #3 – Ok, now the waiter finally come liao to take order but this don’t have, that don’t have ahh? Potong stim lor, kan? Yeah, sometimes when we go to “kiu soong” also the same thing will happen..

Previously, we went to Lala C**ng for “kiu soong” during lunch.. Colleague asked what I want to eat.. I said hamtan sotong.. So he ordered hamtan sotong.. Boss said “don’t have hamtan sotong.. Got butter sotong, jiuyim sotong”.. I was craving for hamtan.. So colleague asked what do you have if we want hamtan.. Boss said “hamtan prawns” !!! I was like “wth, hamtan sotong don’t have but hamtan prawns have?”

Can somebody enlighten me on this?

      Delete
    4. #4 – Usually when this situation happens, I always ask the waiter to cancel the order.. And then the waiter will quickly say “Okok, wait, I go check with the kitchen”.. Then after a few seconds, he will come out and say “Your order is already halfway coming”.. So we can’t cancel.. Good tactic hor them?

Again, this kinda incident pernah happened to me b4.. We were having lunch in the restaurant also, “kiu soong” again.. We ordered very simple and common dishes like: hamtan sotong (that’s my favourite), butter chicken, pumpkin taufu, a green vege and “foo yoong” egg.. Everything came except the egg.. Rice all finished, drinks all finished, egg not yet come.. So colleague asked the waiter to cancel the egg and we wana pay liao.. Then after 3 minutes, the waiter brought the egg over.. So we got no choice but to finish the egg lor.. Takkan we make a scene and a big hoo-haa and say don’t wana pay meh..

Hai kam ger la, we encounter macam macam when we eat out..

    5. Yah la, if see the restaurant very crowded then straight away came into mind "this restaurant must be very good, very tasty, so no matter how long have to queue we still willing to queue for it!"

But here's another story, that's one steamboat restaurant around my housing area here, the restaurant always very "kua cheong" always have a lot of people queueing for the table, I asked my brother in law "have you tried the food there? Is that really super nice until so kua cheong!" Then he said "no la, the food just so so only, just that they've many different choices of dishes!" =.=!!! Then they queueing for it not because the food/soup is nice, is because they've many choices???

Hahahaha~~~ That's funny, maybe the chef just know how to cook hamtan prawns, then the rest don't know liao!!!

I know, I met these kind of cases also, my sisters purposely safe the rice to eat with the fish ya, then we wait, wait, wait...no fish, then we said we told them the fish haven't come, we don't want already!!! Then the person said I go check it first, after that oh, she brought out the fish!!! =.=!!! Really want to say "you wan ye meh!"

    6. I think the restaurant staffs are too busy and forgotten your orders. But then, they don't want to lost the profits and probably serve you first. It could be mentioned for others. Haha

      Delete
    7. 小影,haha I know what you mean! It's like common sense, when we see many customers queuing that means the food must be good! But actually it's not always like that right? I guess it's the 心理 la! And may be the food is tasty to others but not to us... Everyone has different taste buds ma~

    12. Nope. I dont associate fishball noodles to the Yong Tau Fu. Guess our childhood influences a lot la.

When i was a child. The fish ball noodle is only hor fun or bihun or the yellow noodles. and only have spring oinions and fried oinion with fish ball and fish paste.

I feel like tarak sedap coz very plain. So i ate very little lo.

Nowadays more glamourous . people add yong tau foo add meat ball and all eggs. alot of things lor. guss maybe that is why so many people like to eat fishball noodles. J also like but he just ate the noodles

    13. #1 - that one not related lah, it's not the service of the restaurant that made you all leave but it's because of your lady boss who "yim 3 yim 4" that made you all leave only, haha!!

#2 - yeah, i am one who will not be attracted to crowd lah.. i never think if a place is crowded then it must be so heavenly good and i must go and try.. many times such places are just over-rated only.. if i have to wait for more than 20 minutes, i will never want to wait lor.. and furthermore if the attitude is like don't care, definitely will not go back again..

#3 - haha!! funny lah, they are so not flexible!! and yes, i once went to a stall that sells claypot chicken rice.. they only have one standard size, i ordered a big one because hungry mah, they say one size only.. and i saw the boss measures everything using the scale (from rice to meat to seasoning) - probably he only have one measurement to cook and cannot cater for flexibility lor.. so lousy!!

#4 - ah right!! next time say cancel the order, and most probably they will quickly go into the kitchen and "jump queue", 5 minutes later and your dish will be served.. actually, if the dish didn't come, let it be lah, when paying that time, just tell them the dish didn't come, so they sure must be forced to cancel and not charge the dish lor..

  3. Cases like those mentioned, I would just leave. Nothing is worth such abuse and insult. I cannot understand why so many people are willing to put up with the torment. Nothing is that nice...and I have my dignity. Ya...I'm one of the many - I love fish balls noodles, Meat balls too! Wink! Wink!

    1. Hubby always says the same too.. Especially carrying two babies around.. Hubby would just stand up and leave and say better go eat next door, less customers (means the food not so nice)...

    2. At times, the reputation precedes the quality. Over-rated. Others may be just as nice or even nicer.

    3. I prefers quiet and good service. Sometimes, dining also a form of relaxation. It's for you to wind down and relax to enjoy the food.

    4. Sometimes have to 'sacrifice' la and go to the not-so-nice restaurant, if the boss is really so rude.
I have seen some even rude customer, who actually shouted back at the boss, cause of the boss's bad attitude. Nearly got into a fight leh!

      Delete
    5. Same case here.. I've seen ruder customers, shouting and "fighting" back with the boss, but they still continued to dine there after the "fight".. The customer ordered ribeye steak, but the waiter sent him a lamb chop.. So the customer asked to see the boss, then shouted and talked very rudely to the boss leh.. Talk talk ha, talk until like that you know: You think I got no money pay izzit, your waiter very rude, he doesn't know the difference between a beef and lamb ahh? You got no money hire more educated waiters ahh?"... Yada yada yada.. I was just next table to this customer, and after that, my mood all gone leh...

    6. not as easy as that STP. Sometimes ah..we human will think ....maybe the vendors tired...aiya...give him her a chance la.

Or maybe we'll think aiya waited so long already...might as well wait a bit more la. afer all if wnna go other place to find parking and wait some more. .very susah le. KL not like Sibu where every makan place is near to each other. Here wanna travel at least half hour.

maybe wait and after eat that ..one time business only lor. after that will not visit that place again.

If got place next door then can go la. if in some ulu place no choice have to bear with it.

Yea....sometimmes i wish got customer who would dare to shout back at the boss and scold him or her.

But most time customer will just keep quiet.

Ahem ahem...after shouting still dare ti eat there ah? Not scared they add more ingredients into the food ka? LOL

      Delete
    7. If already quarrel better don't eat there ever again. I hear that in the kitchen they will spit into your food!

      Delete
    8. yeah, if i ever treated like that, surely i will walk away and blacklist the eatery already, there will be no next time!! they think their food is so good?? but to me, the service is even more important.. i would rather go to a place giving good service but food is just so-so, rather than to a place with the world's best food but lousy service..

If we eat in food court, it's the same la. Have to queue up and order ourselves.

      Delete
    3. In SG, it's queue here and there. During weekends, all eateries are crowded and you gotta queue to get a place. Even got money also cannot eat.

      Delete
    4. Many places also have self service, some even need to buy coupon first like in those shopping malls, which I think is kinda troublesome...
Actually self service or order also got its pros and cons la! But of course I think most of us will prefer the staff come and order for us, can just sit there and wait ma! Hehe!

      Delete
    5. Long ago everyone complained that Singapore's hawker food were bland and terrible. That's history now and I would say many places have delicious and yummy hawker food. Somehow they created new combos and tastes too, making new fusion varieties. I like!

      Delete
    6. Of course have to create new ideas on and off, there're so many competitors out there, if wanna survive must squeeze the brain to think of new invention to attract customers lo!!

    7. Good day Sharon :)

Food court here also queue up . same goes for hawker stalls la unless got some poeple cut queue LOL.

Think SK meant is that they sat down and waiting for waiter to come and take their order. wait long time and the waiter on ignored mode

Agree with you Anay. Sometimes fusion is good ....depending lor. some also can kaput one.

But most of all is the service la. if rude service people will not go lo unless it's super famous or have good feng shui la

really dont understand some stall food and service terible but can see people queue up for an hour to go makan there...good feng shui???

Oh i know which stall you meant.

go ask Claire...there if one chee cheong fun stall famous in Ipoh also like that...very rude and scold customer but customer still comes back.

nearer to home was in seri petaling...one kari chee cheong fun very famous punya. people will queue up to buy but the lady bos very garang ...scold people one leh.

BUT....now duno the daughter or daughter in law takeover. Duno what happend to the old lady liao. but now the business of that stall less liao. No queue liao.

    3. That's why during cny, my mom always suggest to eat roti canai, hehe!!!

      Delete
    4. Xiao Ying, same here wor.. During CNY ahh, my mum will usually cook "lap cheong" or "yoon cheong" together with some vege, and eat with rice.. She will stock up her freezer to cook during the 1st week of CNY..

MIL pulak, will also do the same.. Stock up the freezer with food.. Then on the 1st day, is usually vegetarian dishes rite.. 2nd day is "hoi lin", means "sik tai chan", got chicken, meat, prawns, whatever.. The food will be usually too much, she will keep and we will re-eat again for the next few days.. Until cho 4 or cho5, whatever leftover meat from cho2, she will cook into "choy keok" (suin latt choy).. So no need to eat out from cho1-cho5..

Youngsters pulak like my BIL or cousins, they will go eat at "fixed" price restaurants, like McD or KFC... Price fixed ma, can't go up jor ma, kan...

      Delete
    5. Yea CNY really bad timing leh Chris. Totally spoint the mood leh.

Like in a certain shop that we went to That shop were totally racist. Went there makan wanna order but was ignored. But their own race come they fast fast go take order. No more going to that shop for me.

CNY in KL now not as bad la. Still have shop that opens. last time all shop close . only mamak and KFC opens. Now CNY chinese shops opens la till the 1th but very pricey to eat lor. cook at home cheaper and easier

      Delete
    6. haha, yeah, would be a problem during CNY because many eateries are closed, and for those who are opening, there will be three problems with them (1) too crowded with people (2) they may increase price (3) service may not be good.. so rather just cook at home and enjoy the togetherness with the family lah, or if eating out go to restaurants with "fixed" price lor..

  7. I will definitely walk away, no matter how delicious the food is. I usually can't stand proud hawkers or kopitiam bosses who thought their food was like no. 1 in the world.

    1. Sometimes I am like that too, especially when I am angry. I mean it's not that he/she is the only one selling the food in town, so I sure have the choice to walk away and eat at somewhere else!
But then sometimes it makes me wonder, that the business is still very good despite the attitude problem! Guess people are just willing to wait and ignore the attitude problem of the boss..... That's why they are so lansi la!

    2. but weird la some stall...they are proud and rude but still remain a lot of business leh. maybe good feng shui or what. once they stop being rude ...the business dropped. like the one i mentioned above.

    3. yalor, that keeps me wonder also.. why the business is still so good despite the very bad service and attitude?? probably because many people don't care about being insulted, but for nice food they will be willing to do and accept anything?? haha.. come to think about it, the crowd doesn't mean the food in that eatery is nice, many are just over-rated leh..

I always order fishball noodles (if it's not the fishball types then it'll be the normal hor fun) for Aden one, he loves noodles, but still have some problems eating noodles on his own, he is still learning how to 'scoop' the noodles properly and put them into his mouth, without dropping them, haha, sounds like a difficult task! 10. Well, if you ask me, what do I hate most abut having hawker food.... Hmm, I think I'll have to answer same like you, service and attitude.
Actually not just hawker center but also in restaurants and cafes. I think even some high class restaurants have attitude problems.
I always think customer is always right, and being in the service line (like being a waiter/waitress) like this, it matters even more! Attitude really can determine whether you get good or bad reviews! Remember the power of Facebook and blogs these days, if the restaurant's servant attitude is so bad, or the restaurant has other kinda issues, I am sure that angry customer will share it in those social media sites, and with just a click, many people will started to share the news and guess what? That particular restaurant is now 'famous'!! ;)

    1. I encountered similar situation like the one you said in point number 1. There is a stall selling wantan mee (actually they sell laksa, hor fun and chicken rice too but it's the wantan mee which is more popular) at hawker center Taiping and they have very good business, actually it has been for more than a decade, many people know it. But due to the good business, we got to wait very long, and the tauke soh doesn't seems to answer people one, actually she heard the order but din't bother to acknowledge, may be too busy?
So when we thought she din't hear the order of course we repeat the order la right? Then she will started to show you her black face, and said something like 'i heard already la, just wait la!' =_= Then sometimes when she is too busy and 'mang zhang', she will also said 'have to wait ha, if can wait then wait la!'
Sometimes, if it's not the craving I also won't eat their wantan mee... So rude!! But even the attitude isn't good, and need to queue very long, they still have very good business lo!

      Delete
    2. Then my other experience with ordering hawker food is, sometimes when I want to order food at the stall, I don't see anyone at the stall, stand there looking left and right, waited few minutes still don't see the tauke, then I will just walk away...

Oh ya, it's kinda frustrating when the food we want is sold out, or the shop is close when we purposely drive to that destination...
Even frustrating if our order being taken by the customer who came later than us. Or the tauke simply forgets our order, til we have to walk over to ask and reconfirm. I am sure many of us have that experience. Some tauke will apologize, some won't bother one...
And those nice tauke will actually give more potion to compensate our waiting, haha xD

Hmm when it comes to ordering food, macam macam stories ada la! ;)

    3. So you are a fishball noodles lover? Can see the one you shared today has lots of 'liu' in it! Wonder how much it cost?
Here, I think around RM 4 to RM 6, if got prawns and meat lagi expensive lo. And I actually prefer kuey teow mee, rather than just kuey teow, hehe!

Eh I notice very less comments today, why ar? Where is everyone? :p Oh, must be dating with Mr Zhou Gong already ;))

    4. Restaurant and cafe as well?? Yah, when people starts to complain on it, then it will become famous, but got to see what kind of complain the person made la!!! Like the recent famous news from HK, the famous DJ went to hotel to have some tea, then she request "can I have another tea pack instead of one?" then the server told her "if you request two tea pack then we gonna charge you double cups of tea price!" Then she answered "if you dare to charge the money then charge lo!" So when the receipt came, she saw the receipt she was damn mad, she started complain about this in her FB also and in her show, and she even called the server as "stupid server"......

After she posted about this, a lot of people started to criticize her back saying "she already told that's gonna to charge you, why you still want to complain? if you can afford to have tea at hotel, you shouldn't go there!"

End up no one support her, everyone started to use her post to make fun...here's the link

      http://hk.apple.nextmedia.com/enews/realtime/20140411/52375764
So if complain also got to see is reasonable or not, if not might get criticize back!!!

    5. Yes Restaurant and cafe as well also have those rude attitude punya

I think social media very effective in giving out informaton...sometimes too efficient. Heard in radio on the advice by the DJ on blogging responsibility? Constructive criticsim. Scolding no point. at least have to point out what is wrong so that they can improve

      Delete
    6. yeah, if that's the case with the attitude, i will never want to go back again.. and i think if they are so busy and don't even care to acknowledge any order, then let it be lah.. one day they will make everyone go and when they realized why the business drop, probably that's the time they started to be nicer to the customers.. but maybe that's too late already??

haha, sometimes i think it's because there is only the boss working for the stall.. he/she needs to take order, cook the food, serve to customer, attend to customer.. so sometimes the stall is not manned.. many times i stood there, no people geh?? then just go lah, don't think that's the boss being sombong because he/she cannot split him/herself only, haha~~

oh yeah!! good point on that!! i also hate the order not according to sequence.. the table next to us who came later were served with food first.. when ask the boss, they will have all sorts of reasons.. i hate that and will argue with them lor.. but then cannot go to over lah, later the boss gets angry and order the kitchen to add "extras" into our dishes~~ :D

  14. Ah yes, I noticed this too from the last post. I was here bright and early yesterday morning but thought the proverbial worm hasn't got up yet when the early bird was here. You are going timeless, eh? A reader can get lost in time..

Veg food is mostly oily as can be noticed on the bowl of noodles. However, I'm not much for veg food nevertheless, not because of the oil but flour is not my type of food. Does that make sense? Oh well..

I'm with you about bad service and arrogant bosses. I try to avoid these places. All that arrogance and bad service will nullify all the goodness of the food. My stand. One other thing that puts me off is the cleanliness factor - the table - how it's wiped, the floor, the cutlery, cups, etc.

Halo please lar, why don't you tell me earlier what you got and don't waste her time and my time asking.... ended we order only keow teow soup. Another way to think back, having dinner during peak season, it is better for us to make a reservation. But at Hawker stall susah sikit lar... So think carefully about the places we wanted to go, asked ourself can we go some other time? or it is a must for us to since it is very famous... we've come so far tak kan we'll visit here again....so die die also must go there to eat...many people mar many lor...

I asked my sister "is it because many customers inside the shop, that's they're not free to do so!" Then said "no la, they're super free, all sit there playing phones only, almost 20 cups of it, also don't to serve me, they really 唔忧米 la!!!"

    5. People say "san si hang" - new place sure feel like going there alot. Must go! Must eat!, Must try! After that judge your ownself... nice or not. If it is nice then you're lucky and can blog about the good food you have tasted. No good - then keep it to yourself and passing ears to ears "Eh, the food not good lar, not special also, next time don't go again."

But there are some poeple just like to complain non stop. Everytime say "people say, not nice", "My friend say not nice"...Halo com' on lar, belum cuba belum tahu...so stop giving judgement by just hearing from peers.

  32. Like I always said, our country don't have service concept.
    花钱买罪受的,我们是顾客还要看人脸色,在上班的时候已经很大压力了,
    出到外面去花费,还是要看人脸色,不抑郁才怪。
