[Volume 8 Issue 4, #1702]

i told myself, i shall never let my BB1M book vouchers expired and wasted them just like that for the second time!! and so, i took solid actions, went to the bookshop four times, searched every corner to find books i'm interested to read, compiled and finalized the book list.. and finally last saturday, i went there one last time to grab the books like i've never done before.. i felt like i were in the "supermarket sweep" game show, haha!! these are all the 15 books i bought, at slightly more than the value of the vouchers, as there is no refund for underutilized amount.. i went for mostly non-fiction and true-story and factual books, sorry no fiction especially romance and chic-lit for me, hehe.. with these 15 books and my tortoise reading speed, i guess they are enough to last me for more than a year, haha!! :D

    2. Hmmm.. I see a health book, no, two. FAT should be interesting.

Two cookbooks from one of my fav chefs. Enjoy his shows. He takes viewers places.

Material Girl - good insight into the world of fashion/fashion designers. Interesting that the co-writer is
'Anonymous'. Too hot to reveal name, I guess.

Probably like you, I prefer non-fiction so that Dalai Lama book would be what I would buy too. I have one on his quotes.

      Mitch Albom - inspiring writer.

Inside Steve's Brain - should be interesting. Autobiographies and biographies are certainly my cup of tea. I bought a copy of John Lennon and Edward Kennedy books at the last BBWBS. Great find to me.

I noticed Emperor of China. Great insight into a dynasty. I recently bought a book about Beijing and how the old city is being slowly but surely taken over by development.

Science? Yeah, a brainiac like you would be interested in. :p

Happy reading! You have made good use of your vouchers?
